Glenda, as for those jumbo yarns, I don’t think you realize how large the afghans turn out in short order, with not that many skeins. Talk about quick!
I have been crocheting over 40 years, & I rarely -if ever- follow the care instructions on 100% acrylics & such. (Only animal fibers & linen would bring me concern.) I wash and dry all my items - mostly Afghans. I include care instructions with any gifts that I give away. I wash in cold/cool water and I recommend (and personally) dry on extra low heat or air fluff. 😄

My store in Arizona started marking down Monday, so I went Tuesday and bought $94 worth, but they weren'tdone with markdowns. I went back yesterday and got 10 scarfie lites for $19. This is the one time a year I purchase yarn and most of my makes are donations for local schools and the VA.
We enjoyed seeing the yarn all 25,000 times 😂

My Hobby Lobby has a clearance section on the back wall. Thad a lot of yarn in that section, but they also had some on the shelves.

Thanks for the heads up on joann clearance of 25% off. Omg, i spent a fortune but i got a lot of great yarn at a great price. Ive been looking everywhere for Herrdchners Antiquity collection in the color Chromatic. If anyone knows where i can get 6 skeins, please let me know.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It's too bad that all the craft stores...and Walmart...are downsizing, making their craft sections smaller and smaller. That's how so many of them got their start, it's sad. Thank you Glenda and Cody for the yarn tour.

The new hobby lobby near me has a very scant yarn selection. The better store is across the treacherous Buckman Bridge 😮. I dont want yarn that bad...😢

There was no clearance items at my Hobby Lobby. But, I did see that they downsized the yarn section to put in bed, bath and beyond items. Very disappointing.

When you put the clearance yarn back with the sticker hidden, it may not be obvious to other shoppers that it is clearance priced. We can all be considerate of each other if we put it back so the sticker faces outward. I know they have staff that goes through and straightens but if we each can do this small thing-they get to spend more time pricing or stocking the yarn so we can all have equal access. I am not being mean just commenting on what I noticed and have dealt with.
For anyone that doesn't know, all yarn and Hobby Lobby is 30% off every other week. Next week is a sales week
I’m so not happy with the changes Hobby Lobby is making in their stores. I’ve talked with several employees in my local store and they’re not happy with it either.
After watching your video, I decided to check out my local Hobby Lobby. They had a few skeins of yarn that not many people like, and some of the needle projects were on sale. It was pathetic, so I didn’t buy anything.
My HL yarn clearance is gone only had a few that’s it bought lime 7 skeins nothing else was there. 😢 never had that one in sad!!
It looks like they are forcing us to buy online. Now, in Australia, most of my favourite yarns which are made in Australia are only available online. I have always liked to eyeball and feel yarns. Guess I will have to do what Grandma does and buy 1 of each to see if I like them.

I hate to see hobby lobby downsize. Michael’s in my area barely have any yarn.

Those thick yarns aren'ton clearance at my store in Calif. There was only 4 types on clearance. Some hooks were on clearance and some weren't which made no sense. Maybe next week.

The hobby lobby nearest me had nothing they have done away with a lot of yarn rows will not be traveling 60 miles for nothing I hear they are openings a new store the other direction from me will go check them out I just order from premier Herrschners or Mary maxim

Were those skeins seriously $22.50 regular price? You could get a skein of hand dyed super bulky merino from an indie dyer for like 5$ more.... what a rip off HL is

I’m disappointed in Hobby Lobby. They have cut way back on the colors of I Love This Cotton. Very disappointed.
