I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. You are in my prayers and my thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. I lost my mom 42 years ago, when I was a young woman. Your memories of her will stay with you for your lifetime. Over time, those memories will help bring you peace. Your rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow was absolutely beautiful. I wish we could have heard the whole song. You are very talented.
Gracie is such a sweetie! I know having her also helps with the loss of your mom! I lost my mom 8 years ago, and she’s been on my mind a lot today because today is her 99th Birthday and also hers and dad’s 76th Anniversary! Days like this you really wish you still had both. Mother’s Day had to be awfully hard for you. My mom has been gone since 2018 but Mother’s Day hits me so hard every single year. I’ve lost both my parents and even though I’m in my 60s I feel like an orphan.

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I lost my mom 4 years ago and it seems there are still those unexpected moments when it's still fresh and you really really miss them. Thankful that we don't grieve as those who have no hope.
You know how much I love you and a good vlog! The best of both worlds and just what I needed today. I know you are relieved that the concert is over and you can focus on grieving (so important) and family. I thank God for my parents ( late 70’s and early 80’s) everyday and don’t want to think about losing them. I am the woman I am today because of them and their support. When you leave Oklahoma, swing through Maryland and we’ll take part in a little retail therapy together! You know how I love some Lauren Conrad and I’m addicted to the Tarte Maracuja lip products!!! I lost my husband last year and I have good and bad days. As long as we keep moving forward, no matter how slowly, I feel it’s progress. God bless you!❤

I love listening to you play. I miss playing the piano so much. I’ve got to get me a simple, keyboard so that I can play again. I use to play for our church years ago. Always a joy to see Gracie. Oh Sharalee, bless your heart!... You have been on my mind and in my heart since you told us of your Mom's passing. You are so right when you say, grief is a journey! My sisters and I are 6 months into our new reality and still miss her daily! Your faith will carry you through this time, I have no doubt! When you said, in your last video that you were going to be playing, "Somewhere over the Rainbow", I wanted to tell you that I found, after my Mom passed, a journal that she had written at a Retreat she had been on at our church camp..she referred to Heaven as, "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and wrote about what her first sights would be... It was beautiful !! It has given me such peace and joy to read her thoughts! Thank you for taking time to share this "retail therapy" trip... I too have taken my share of of those lately! I LOVE your dress, earrings and shoes!! Please know that I will be praying for you and your family as you navigate this new journey. Oh, one more thing... my husband is a pianist too and has been working on a rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" too! He wanted me to tell you to look up Keith Jarrett's rendition... Hey! Gracie is so cute! My pups (ok they’re 10 years old, sister labs) watch tv. Too funny watching them do everything identically. I lost my mom last year, it’s tough. For some reason I ended up purging my photos on Mother’s Day, and of course there were lots of her and I. Tough day but I keep her close to my heart and know that she is not suffering anymore and has been reunited with my dad. It’s great to see your video! Hugs, Binkie 💕

Hugs & prayers to you regarding the loss of your mom. I know how hard it is because I lost my mom in 2022, and I still grieve. And I agree with you that any type of therapy helps you cope. Like you, I enjoy retail therapy as well. I like to go shopping by myself during my grieving because it allows me to think about my mother in peace and reflect on the memories that we both shared together.

Sharalee, I did not know about your Mom! So sorry to hear of your loss. My Mom has been gone for 41 years, but feels like yesterday. My Dad left us 26 years ago. Both of my in-laws are gone. It feels so strange to be the matriarch of our family. My heart breaks for you.
