i was looking for your Chanel last few days after i forgot the name of it, glad it’s on my feed again, lovely lessons, i like that you play only one guitar which is strat. thank you 😊
I think this one of those leads from classic rock that gets over looked by many. Richie was a beast and every bit deserves to be rated up there with Page, Hendrix, SRV, Clapton and a multitude of others. Now do his 16th Century Greensleeves live version 😎🤘🎸
People usually play the solo of the studio version, but this version from Made in Japan is SO MUCH better! Congratulations on this series, I'm loving all the vídeos!
I love this series, BUT you can't just say...... you move your right hand like this.... and your left like this...Lol Richie Blackmore was amazing totally agreed.
I remember that Deep Purple was frowned upon by fans of ‘progressive’ music. When Machine Head was released in 1972 it got a rather bad review in our local newspaper, De Gooi- en Eemlander. But fifty years later this album stands out as one of the foundations of hard rock with all its awe inspiring guitar playing by mr. Blackmore. Highway Star, Smoke on the Water, Lazy, Space Truckin’, wow!
Yeah, Deep Purple was downplayed in a lot of markets. As was Rush. Glad I had friends that introduced me to their music while they were still releasing albums. What a time to be alive, music production with concerts just don't happen anymore.
One thing I like about old guitarists in the 70`s is that they never played a solo in the same way...and this a proof of it.Like Jimmy Page did and also Jimi Hendrix .
I loved the Machine Head album As a young guitarist trying to learn Lazy, Highway Star and basically all the other songs on the album. So glad you've introduced this song to maybe the younger generation of followers. Richie Blackmore was and is a pioneer.

Finaly, you did right choice. Despite the fact you did play his solo wrong.🤭 Blackmore is the man. His tone and phrases so good. Singularity playing. If someone is deserving to be name stratocaster master is him.
@@elenka.svaliva2 I won't argue since it's pointless. If you want to believe he's playing the studio solo then it's up to you to believe so. About the position he's playing. Do you mean the fast part? Yes, I always assumed Ritchie played it on the E string, but B string works too. Gets a slightly different tone.
While Learning to play this I was working hard on the bends, If not right on this fantastic riff looses it's feel. Your playing here is faultless IMO..

The best 👌 Mr. Blackmore!!!!!!
This brings back so many childhood memories. It’s my favorite guitar solo. And you’re playing it brilliantly.
Wow! That solo separates the men from the boys. Amazing job replicating it!
Blackmore lead many to the guitar. He was a pioneer who is often passed over. Still a top 10 rock guitarist in my book :-)
H. Totally agree with you. Perhaps he is overlooked because he is apparently not a very nice person.
