I tried playing this video along with the video for Schumann's Piano Concerto on the same device at the same time at 3 am. It was such a weird experience.
> Liszt encouraged him to "go on, and don't let anything scare you," but tastelessly suggested that the second subject of the first movement be played by a trumpet instead of cellos. Grieg didn't restore it to the strings until his revision of 1905-1906. God I wish he kept that change
"The concerto opens with a drum-roll and solo flourish, after which the winds play a simple, unsophisticated main theme" -- not quite as unsophisticated as Eric Morcambe's version (also with Andrew Preview). But still recognisable. 😀
Thank you very much! The interpretation is very good, only Ignz. Friedman playes it in my opinion better. Everytime a wonderful concert. "The best pianoconcert is that from Grieg"- Rachmaninov

Any experience can be surreal or surprising when you are delirious at 3 in the morning.
Oh my goodness! It's Grieg's amazing Piano Concerto.
VAY CANINA !!!
What a masterpiece of a piece...my goodness. So intricate, so tender, so exciting, so complex. Wow. Playing it with my orchestra at the moment. Lush.

I found the sheet music for flute 1 and 2 alone and playing this on flute has helped me with my tuning a lot
Thank you so much for uploading these ❤️❤️
