    here • Welcome Messages & Wal...
    This video shows you how to use Streamer.bot to add welcome messages to OBS so that the first words from a chatter in every stream will trigger an on screen notification welcoming them into the stream.
    You will need to download Streamer.bot to do this and you can find the most recent release @ streamer.bot/
    If you found this video helpful please like it, and subscribe to the channel if you would like to see more things like this. I appreciate the support so much. If you have anything you would like to see done, or like to learn how to do in your streams leave a comment below and if I can get it done I will make a video for you on it.
    Thanks to Mr Ali for requesting this one and giving me the idea to set this up, it has been a great addition to my everyday stream set up.

    Howdy!! Back again buddy. I was wondering if you would be able to do a video about how you did your raid video, transition, music, etc.? Was that done with streamer bot as well?

      It would be possible to show how it was controlled lol, that was done in streamer.bot. The LOTR video was edited in Premiere Pro, and the shatter effect was done in After Effects. Though I have been thinking about trying to recreate it inside of OBS for quite some time. It would just be a lot of work to achieve a similar effect and I don't know that it would be worth the resource cost. Maybe some day lol.

    Hey boss! You do realise that your picture in picture (cam) video is blocking most of the actions that you are trying to show us, right?

      yeah and he talks pretty fast. For a new streamer this tutorial is not recommended.

    • @geefbird
      @geefbird  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes unfortunately lol, but most of the things it was blocking were just text set up, which is user preference as I say in the video. Additionally things that were blocked were repeats of actions not blocked though I do see how that could be confusing or unhelpful. Since there has been a change in the UI for StreamerBot in the last few several months I will probably end up remaking this video to reflect those changes and additions. Hopefully it will be more helpful.

      @@cerebralchaos93I am sorry that I talk fast I was trying to keep the video short as the original was over 30 minutes long. I am planning to reshoot this tutorial soon to reflect the changes made to triggers and the UI changes inside of StreamerBot since this was made and I will make sure to pace the information more slowly so that it is new user friendly as well. Thank you for your feedback.

    06:43 you add a Set GDI Text but you dont explain that part. Mine says ' OBS not connected' eventhough I followed all the steps. So you might want to zoom in on creating the connection with OBS first before adding actions/sub actions, otherwise all of this is pointless, as it is for me at this point....

    • @geefbird

      I do go through connecting to OBS in the video, though maybe I should have made that the very first thing. I tackled things in an order that made sense to me but might not make as much sense to others. I just placed the sources inside of OBS first and then tackled everything StreamerBot side after. I will change that when I reshoot and edit this video soon so that the connection comes first. Again, I appreciate the feedback. Hopefully the updated video will be more helpful but in the meantime if you ever have any questions or need live help you can always jump into one of my live streams and I’ll help you 1 on 1 in realtime. Though because of the changes to SB it wouldn’t look the same as this video. Anyway, thanks again for the feedback and I am sorry for the frustration.

    How do you have the chat on the bottom going to the left like that ! Do you have a video about it?

    • @geefbird
      @geefbird  Год назад +1

      I do not havea video about it. It is a widget in Stream Elements that was made by Mr. Boost. I prefer it to traditional chat boxes because of its clean look and minimal space usage.
