Is Jollibee In Vietnam Better Than The Philippines? 🇵🇭 🇻🇳

  • In this video we experience trying the Filipino fast food restaurant “Jollibee” in Vietnam.
We decided to find the nearest Jollibee to us in Hanoi which is located in the Vincom Shopping centre. After arriving at this very modern shopping centre, we headed up the escalators right to the top, until we saw the famous Jollibee logo!
We ordered a few things off the menu to compare and also a few things off the menu that we hadn’t seen before to try them out.
We couldn’t really taste a massive difference in the menu, the chicken seemed to be a lot bigger in Vietnam but the amazing taste of the spaghetti was still present as were all of the flavours that make Jollibee so great in the Philippines!

Filipinos love spicy that is why you lots of Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Mexican restaurants in Manila. That is also the reason why 9 out 10 Filipinos pay extra to eat Spicy Chicken Joy rather than the regular chicken. Sadly most Filipino do not know their own culture, like those Filipinos who think they love sweet spaghetti, 😂😂😂. No one likes spaghetti to be sweet, no one.

A basic chicken meal at KFC has 1pc chicken, a big bowl of rice, a nice salad and a soda. In Philippines, a basic chicken geared towards the poor, only a chicken (usually very tiny part) and half a cup of rice and a super tiny cup of soda. So Jollibee has to adjust their food items to be competitive in Vietnam. It is very interesting to analyze why they Ditched the gravy.

@@TheBlagPackersTo be honest, KFC chicken in the Philippines is not great, how it's cook here. That's why KFC has lower ratings to Jollibee, even Mcdonalds. KFC hotshots (like chicken poppers) is very tasty though, but Jollibee chickenjoy in the past still the best tasting fried chicken, much more enjoyable in the past. Like many other foods in the Philippines, better in the past. 😀

@@lexydurdegracia6931you are the wrong one lol. Fact, Jollibee chickenjoy the number 1 selling fried chicken in the Philippines until today. Another fact, all KFC branches have much lower star ratings compared to Jollibee and Mcdonalds. Several times i ordered KFC chicken not cooked well, still has little chicken blood, undercooked. I guess thats pretty common thats why KFC has lower ratings here.

We love both countries cuisine, Vietnam are amazing in their unique flavours and Philippines are SO good at preparing large amounts of meat and bbq.

@ERRATAS0707 You're so sure about that, then show me that fact and make sure it is a widely accepted fact. Hating on other countries' food doesn't make vietnams the best food. It only makes you look arrogant and ignorant. That's a fact. Lol

@@Budywieser just check the top 20 best food in Asia and count how many are Vietnamese food and Filipino food. Minimum there's 3 Vietnamese food on that list while your sorry country only got one, and it's most at the bottom of the list.
