- In this video we experience trying the Filipino fast food restaurant “Jollibee” in Vietnam.
We decided to find the nearest Jollibee to us in Hanoi which is located in the Vincom Shopping centre. After arriving at this very modern shopping centre, we headed up the escalators right to the top, until we saw the famous Jollibee logo!
We ordered a few things off the menu to compare and also a few things off the menu that we hadn’t seen before to try them out.
We couldn’t really taste a massive difference in the menu, the chicken seemed to be a lot bigger in Vietnam but the amazing taste of the spaghetti was still present as were all of the flavours that make Jollibee so great in the Philippines!

Gravy for chicken joy is a must, some filipino makes the gravy mixed with their rice.
When we come back to the Philippines we will drink a glass of gravy! 😋
I enjoyed the comparisons 😊. It’s good to know they keep up the high standard regardless of the country.
Thank you for watching!! We love the spaghetti in both countries! 🇵🇭🇻🇳
Wow! Jollibee of the Philippines!..the world famous giant humburger chain in the world that give Mc Donald's a run in sales..
With a better mascot too 🐝 🇵🇭❤️
No actually I depends. Here in the philippines, there are some mcdonalds spots that are actually better than jollibee.
Honestly I was hoping the Jolly Hotdog to be in a banh mi, that would be so good.
Hahaha love this 😂 could be one of our favourite comments! 🇵🇭🇻🇳❤️
There’s no Jolly Hotdog in the US and Canada
I am so hungry now 😅😅 great video great watch
Haha thank you!! You’ll have to get a Jollibee! 🐝
Congratulations on 7k SUBS 🎉🎉
Thank you, you were there when we had 50subs!
Wow Jollibee in Vietnam, well Filipinos everywhere though
And they want their delicious jollibee chicken 🍗 ❤️🇵🇭
Hi, I liked you both and I am all smiles 🙂when she said " leave some for me" 🍗🍗. I watched all vlogs while you were in the Philippines and I really loved it all the way. Hope to see you both back soon again and stay in the Philippines. Muwah..wah...wah.... tsup....tsup! 😘😘
Thank you so much for watching and also for commenting the parts that made you smile 😊! We will be back REALLY soon! 🇵🇭❤️
I was able to taste that tropical sundae when I went to Vietnam last month. It was good. Wish it's also served here in the Philippines. I think ommitting the gravy from the menu is a crime.
Let’s start a petition to get gravy back in Vietnam!
Watching from the Philippines
Mabuhay 👋
At least you tried the Jolli Hotdog. They do not have that any more in the Philippines.
No way?!
Guys I'm jealous ...I live in Australia and no Jollibee in this continent
You’re kidding?! What’s your next go to choice?
@@TheBlagPackers KFC & Maccas
In the USA the Jollibee locations have Pepsi products.
It must change everywhere 🤔
Because in America, Pepsi is cheaper cost for food corporations. Coca-Cola cost more money for businesses.
Please come back to Philippines ❤️
We plan to, very soon! 🇵🇭❤️
New subscriber and I love all your vlogs..thanks !
Hey thank you so much for subscribing, what’s your favourite video so far 😃??
@TheBlagPackers Jollibee between Philippines and Vietnam..
Never trid Jollibee before.
U make me wanna try 🤣
Where are you from? 🍗
amazing content
Thank you so much !
jollibee was supposed to be kiddie friendly thats why they made spagghetti tad sweet and chicken not too spicy
I guess we’re BIG kids then 😜! Thanks for watching ❤️🍗
@@TheBlagPackerslol😂😂😂
Thats cool we just did the same video.. We noticed they didn't have gravy either. They didn't even have the Champ burger. ONly a Shimp burger. But well.. we tried a bunch of stuff. The Fried chicken was similiar.. although Claire thought it wasn't as Juicy. The Shrimp burger tasted like a Fillo fish burger and McDo. to me. anyway.. you guys did a great comparison video. nice job!
Thank you so much for watching, it’s interesting to know how your experience was too 🍗❤️
I want to try Jollibee spaghetti now ❤
Get some!!! 😋
@@TheBlagPackersYou can't regret the best in the world
Wow yummy yummy
Have you tried it?! 😋
❤❤❤❤
🍗❤️❤️
Chicken without gravy isn’t the same lol gravy is life for us Filipinos!
The same for us Brits too! 🇬🇧 🇵🇭❤️
Nothing beats the “AUTHENTIC” Jollibee in the Philippines
We've gotta get our fix wherever we can haha!
tsate more spicy and herbs maybe ? mainland southeast asia love spicy, philippines love sweet and salty
The spaghetti was really different!
Filipinos love spicy that is why you lots of Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Mexican restaurants in Manila. That is also the reason why 9 out 10 Filipinos pay extra to eat Spicy Chicken Joy rather than the regular chicken. Sadly most Filipino do not know their own culture, like those Filipinos who think they love sweet spaghetti, 😂😂😂. No one likes spaghetti to be sweet, no one.
Jollibee is love wherever it’s served 😁
🍗❤️🇵🇭
A basic chicken meal at KFC has 1pc chicken, a big bowl of rice, a nice salad and a soda. In Philippines, a basic chicken geared towards the poor, only a chicken (usually very tiny part) and half a cup of rice and a super tiny cup of soda. So Jollibee has to adjust their food items to be competitive in Vietnam. It is very interesting to analyze why they Ditched the gravy.
We are also very confused about the gravy it’s SO good 🍗❤️
KFC here in Singapore do not serve gravy too and while there is gravy in Jollibee, locals still prefer chili sauce over it. Most of South east asian countries prefer spicy sauce.
Jollibee Vietnam has no delicious gravy service at least we know now. Thank you for the vlogs
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching
Definitely better. Better healthy options and as well as portions
We thought the same thing
That jolly hotdog looks just a hotdog sandwhich without joy 😂😂😂
It wasn’t the best was it 😂
Jollibee chickejoy in the Philippines used to be more juicy and tasty the best ever. Still very good though.
Would you say it beats KFC?!
@@TheBlagPackersTo be honest, KFC chicken in the Philippines is not great, how it's cook here. That's why KFC has lower ratings to Jollibee, even Mcdonalds. KFC hotshots (like chicken poppers) is very tasty though, but Jollibee chickenjoy in the past still the best tasting fried chicken, much more enjoyable in the past. Like many other foods in the Philippines, better in the past. 😀
@@UserDythfds-nx6ienope, your wrong most of the jollibee outlets now their chicken or chincken joy are not good as before. So small not that so tasty. But KFC still delicious bo need to market or adds unlile jollibee theirs a lot of adds and commercials.
@@lexydurdegracia6931you are the wrong one lol. Fact, Jollibee chickenjoy the number 1 selling fried chicken in the Philippines until today. Another fact, all KFC branches have much lower star ratings compared to Jollibee and Mcdonalds. Several times i ordered KFC chicken not cooked well, still has little chicken blood, undercooked. I guess thats pretty common thats why KFC has lower ratings here.
The chicken sandwich should have the patty in one piece. A little expensive than getting it from Phil's, maybe because of franchise cost. It aint better where it originally came from.
Yeah I think it’s because we were In Hanoi which is also a very expensive part of Vietnam :) 🇻🇳 ❤️🇵🇭
Im new here because of jollibee
Welcome 👋 Hopefully we have more videos and content for you to enjoy. Please let us know what you like from our old videos 🇵🇭❤️
No way!! cuz Jollibee food products in Vietnam are "Vietnamized" so, they don't taste as good definitely.. they don't even have burgers.. and, what's worse is Chicken Joy doesn't come with gravy.. what's fried chicken without gravy? what a pity!!
We really missed the gravy 😔
it almost desame...becoz franchizing jollibee is their trade name...they produce and cooked in the same way...
🇵🇭❤️
Very yummy jollibee
What’s your favourite item on the menu?
went there years ago and it was disappointing. the chicken didn't taste the same even the smell is different. i guess they changed it now which is good
Yeah I think it lives up to its Jollibee name now 😋🇵🇭🍗
As a pinoy living in Vietnam, trust me. I prefer our Jollibee in the Philippines, no gravy no life
Love that so much! “No gravy, no life” 🇵🇭❤️
No gravy, no life? Then what the hell do Filipino have when the American didn’t arrive?
Guys it doesnt matter where is jollibee located the same ingredient in all menu
Caramel sundae
The spaghetti in Philippines was WAY better and the chicken joy tasted more herbier in Vietnam… and no gravy in Vietnam 😧
@@TheBlagPackers no gravy is a crimeee
🤣🤣
The most Jollibee outside the Philippines
😋 🍗🇵🇭
Mang Inasal next to be
YES WE WILL 😋 ❤️🇵🇭
They serve Pepsi in Viet Nam. Nice.
They do 🇻🇳

Jollibee without gravy? The country manager needs to be summoned...
Hahaha so right! 🍗😂
No Aloha burger?! What a crime. :P
I know! We can’t wait to try one 🇵🇭❤️
wow no gravy? watching from philippines
NO GRAVY 😧😧😧
I'm more interested on those locals at the background what's their assessment of the Jollibee junk foods 🤔😅😂
The Vietnamese do not care at all. McDonalds is there too.
It’s because the gravy is missing 😜
@@aforadorable6006also KFC
@@TheBlagPackershow about KFC in Vietnam ?
May Jollibee pala sa vietnam 😮 hihihi sorry hindi masyado updated 😅
There are actually quite a few! ❤️🇻🇳
Marami.2nd sa buong mundo na may jollibee.asawa ko Vietnamese favorite nya spaghetti at sundae
Jollibee is a Philippine brand, so there is no need to compare it to a franchise in Vietnam. We hate comparing it especially if it's our very own brand common?!
We loved comparing it, as the brand isn’t British we can see it from a non bias point of view. Franchises HAVE to change in different countries to suit the needs of where the restaurant is… hence the no gravy 😧😧🇻🇳🇵🇭❤️
No one is forcing you spend your days telling other people what they can and cant do with their vlogs. If you are bored with people in the internet debating or comparing stuff, go seek a new hobby, try planting spinach or kale farming or learn how to bake croissant or pretzels. ❤❤❤
I'm curious, are all the employees full Vietnamese? Or did they hired Filipinos?
I’m not sure to be honest, I believe they were Vietnamese :)
Oh my that's PEPSI! it should be COKE!?
And NO GRAVY 😮😮
Their jolly hotdog has no grated cheese on it?!
It doesn’t look very jolly does it 😂
What microphone do u guys use ❤❤❤❤❤
DJI microphone ❤️
I actually liked the spaghetti in Vietnamese better as I prefer it not as sweet.
😋
Jollibee without gravy?? Wth
They don’t have it 😮
@@TheBlagPackershow about some sauce like Ketchup or Sweet Chili Sauce ??
jollibee in vietnam????
There’s loads 😮😮
FYI...Vietnam has the most Jollibee Stores outside the Philippines..and no country comes close with almost 200 stores..
Pepsi? Jollibee Philippines partner is Coke.
Yeah we thought that was strange too!
5:54 chicken strips with big slices of tomato 🍅. Nope don't have that in the Philippines. I think that's only in Vietnam.
Really? That’s very interesting 🧐 🇵🇭❤️
I’m hungry again😢😂😂
Haha the Jollibee effect! 🍗 ❤️
Jollibee in Philippines serve Coca Cola while in Vietnam is Pepsi.
I wonder why 🤔?
Try jollibee riyadh and dubai
If we go to Dubai we will try 😋
@@TheBlagPackersHalal Beefy Jolly Hotdog
Theres a 2 Jollibee in Vietnam
We’ve seen quite a few now!
Theres 172 Jollibee stores in Vietnam now , the most outside the Philippines
What? No gravy? Oh oh.
Crazy huh 🤔!!
jollibee cannot afford to faccilitate in japan.....WHY???????
Is JOLIBEE not in Japan?
Jollihotdog should have cheese
It did on the menu picture, but not what we got 😂
Dump question?
Why?
That's expensive!
Is it? We have forgotten Filipino prices now 😟
Philippines Jollibee the best
The gravy 🤤 🇵🇭❤️
Dumb down your expectations.......AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE can only happen when you do it in the Philippines. Had Chickenjoy in the US.........too far from the real taste of Jollibee Philippines
You should check out our first ever JOLIBEE video 😋
Brits SHOCKED by JOLLIBEE In The Philippines! 🇵🇭

😂
❤️🍗
The poorest jollibee..no gravy no aloha
We missed it!
No gravy because gravy is too bland for the likes of Vietnamese. Hence why instead of gravy, we use sweet Saigonese chili sauce.
Hindi talaga masarap ang spaghetti sa jollibee...
We like the slight sweetness to it!
I hope the manager is Filipino
🇵🇭❤️
I would imagine that the quality control and cleanliness are FAR superior in Vietnam - Philippines doesn't seem to have much concern for it.
We’re not sure on this one, We were there to eat not look for cockroaches 😉 😂
Thanks for watching ❤️❤️
Seriously? You come to Vietnam and you eat at Jollibee? It's like me visiting France and I decided to eat at Burger King! There are so many delicious local cuisines that it would be an insult to that country. Unhealthy greasy food should not be promoted. I hope you make better choice with your content.
We were born and raised in England and certainly didn’t eat Pie & Mash for 30 years 😂 We’ve been in Vietnam for 3 months now and eat Vietnamese food probably 5-6 days per week. We also have a vlog coming up in a few weeks called Hungry In Hue, hopefully that will be more to your taste 😋 🇻🇳 ❤️
Go home
Us? 😂
Of course they do it better in Vietnam. Vietnamese cooks better food than Filipino in general, that's Vietnamese food are one of the most popular food in the US while filipino food isn't.
And filipino cuisine sucks tbh.
Thats your opinion.
@@Budywieser it's not an opinion it's a fact.
We love both countries cuisine, Vietnam are amazing in their unique flavours and Philippines are SO good at preparing large amounts of meat and bbq.
It’s no shock that the biggest cuisines in America is anything but their own 😜 ❤️❤️
Thanks for watching 🇵🇭🇻🇳
@ERRATAS0707 You're so sure about that, then show me that fact and make sure it is a widely accepted fact. Hating on other countries' food doesn't make vietnams the best food. It only makes you look arrogant and ignorant. That's a fact. Lol
@@Budywieser just check the top 20 best food in Asia and count how many are Vietnamese food and Filipino food. Minimum there's 3 Vietnamese food on that list while your sorry country only got one, and it's most at the bottom of the list.
mixue my fav in Philippines
We need to try this!
