LOVEBITES, with the new formation welcoming the new bassist ""Fami"", will release its fourth original album on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. The limited editions A and B will have a documentary video of the auditions including an interview with the band on the day of the bassist auditions and an interview with Fami, who was still one of the finalists then. They will also include the four full studio sessions of ""The Hammer Of Wrath,"" ""Golden Destination,"" and ""Shadowmaker,"" as well as ""Bravehearted,"" the first song the five members played together after Fami joined the band.

What does not get emphasised enough in my view is that although there is obviously studio mixing, corrections etc, for the studio recording, Lovebites in particular, can play these amazing songs live. Further to this, they don't just reproduce a perfect copy of the studio version.
I heard someone else say this “but can Lovebites play this live? Lovebites: hold my Saki”. 😸

the more I watch and listen to Fami's bass line isolated, I think there is a lot less outright slap (note the lack of pop) and I think she is using the technique to strum more than actually slap on a lot of it. I could be wrong. Might need to force Wave or Alan to do a full "only bass" breakdown.

lol...I just had to laugh when your drummer said that what Haruna was doing was simple. Now, I have never heard him play, but I seriously doubt if he has even half of the skill set of Haruna. If he did, he would be playing in some well-known band somewhere. I love hearing reactors who aren't 1/10th as good as the band they're reacting to critisize them. Those that are great play music; those who are not, react to those that are. Sorry, but that's how I feel.
