Yesterday we got another great firmware update for the Axe-FX III (FW 25.04), this time honing in primarily on the cathode follower algorithm as found in many of the old-school Marshall models like the SLP1959 and Plexi 100's, etc. To my ears it given those models a little more dynamic life and breathiness, for want of a better description. Regardless, I don't need much prompting to write patches and have some fun so I give to you '76 Uxbridge Rd', the location, I believe, of the first Marshall workshop all those years ago. Rock out.

Very cool name you came up with! I lived and grew up a short distance from where the original Marshall store/workshop was 🤟🏽 So ‘76 Uxbridge Road’ is what caught my attention! Great name and great tones man! Have an awesome day.
Video starts off with Brett Zeppelin 🤟
Nice one, mate. Can't bring myself to go in the modeller road, but you are gradually making me reconsider. Certainly come a long way since the good old Line 6 POD days!
yeah man. the marshalls always sounded great, but the new firmware took them up another notch! i was intrigued by your video title, because that's my old stomping ground. grew up near there. my dad bought me my first guitar from a music shop in the uxbridge road and i traded my vox AC30 in for a marshall jubilee in another shop near there 1987. also worked at the bbc in white city just north of there for 10 years.
Jeepers, Simeon. You're part of the fabric over there! The closest I ever got that part of town is Google Earth! I did meet Jim Marshall a couple of times though. Lovely bloke, may he rest in peace.
Excellent preset, thanks Mr. Burgs! Loads of fun!
Hey Brett, big fan for a long time (same vintage:) ). I have a FM3 and was wondering what present you use to play Slave live ? That beautiful guitar lick (you know the one) is just glorious !!
The algorithm is being a jerk again and I missed this video. Love your presets. I am a metal guy all day long so I prefer the more scooped tones for my style, but the guitar tones you get and your playing make these presets/amps sing. Well done Burgs. Thanks for sharing!!
Another great video sounding great MR. Kingman
As always, thanks to your endeavor for letting us have your esteemed works, the preset. BTW, it's time going to winter season in your area in southern part of the planet?... We're going to summer here in Korea South. Cheers~!
Great demo Burgs. Love the Marshalls and its so great to have most of them all in one place. Cheers
The Axe gets better and better! Thanks for another great preset! 🤘🎩
Thanks for another great preset - most generous!
Nice one! Love it, good on your Burgs! 😅😅
Swim scenes are always a winner!!!
Always great tweeks.
