    It’s too far-fetched to say that fungi in the world of Minecraft originated from the Nether. I mean you can’t say that fungi has never existed before in the Overworld, because fungi as a biological kingdom are important for ecosystems. I strongly believe that both the Nether and the Overworld have their own native unique fungi, Overworld fungi being the red and brown ones and the Nether fungi being the crimson and warped ones

    • @coomslayer6996
      @coomslayer6996 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@jackhinkley8133my theory for that is that the piglins and Hoglins were originally from and native to the Overworld, after all they are pigs too and the hoglins drop pork like pigs do. But one day, a big war broke out between the piglins and the ancient builders, which caused the builders to put a curse onto the piglins and their hoglins to zombify if they don’t breathe nether fungi spores. Thus condemning the piglins and their hoglins to the Nether
      So when the piglins and Hoglins moved to the Nether, they took some of the Overworld fungi with them. Which is why the red and brown mushrooms exist in the Nether
      And the ancient builders built fortresses in the Nether and experimented with potion brewing there, so they too must’ve also brought the Overworld fungi to the Nether

    Interesting theories and well backed up. The Nether being the source of fungi in the Overworld, the ancient Alchemists turned Witches being the first to master the magical fungi properties being in opposition to the existing magics of the Overworld later discovered by Achie, plus the Endermites being an extra dimensional pest that leaks void magic into both dimensions.

    I love the lore in Minecraft so much, and the fact that you come up with so many sensible and enjoyable theories astounds me. I had a kind of headcannon for what the 'blazes' ae made of. Some real world metals can be made into powdered versions by reacting various gases such as dolomite, ferrosilicon, sulfur, radon. One such metal is magnesium, which can be made into powder, ribbons, or bars and it burns very well. Perhaps the gases and elements in the nether react to produce a condensed/powdered version of blaze, which works like real world thermite powder. It kinda makes sense given basalt deltas probably emit gases like radon and the nether gives off sulfur vibes. Maybe this process could have been further helped by the fungi, since real world plants and fungi can take in metal ions through their roots and replicate them in higher and purer quantities. . (Real life process called Phytoextraction) Maybe piglins used this in the production of blazes and blaze rods.

    I think most of what you said is right except for something about zombified piglins. Think about mold, almost everything has some kind of spore on it at one time or another but if conditions are right the spore might wait or only grow after a really long time. My theory was actually that piglins went to the nether wastes to die, and when they do so it helps spread the shroom forest, this is like real world fungi and how it controls zombified bugs like ants. The hive mind effect of ZP also suggests a fungal element. It’s possible that all piglins have these spores on them and in the right conditions they can survive off of other sources but taken out of their environment they begin to grow and spread to stay alive, infecting the piglins and basically starting to eat them for a food source.

    Iron golems attack witches, meaning that the villagers see them as a threat. And in Bedrock Edition, witches will always attack iron golems, even before the golem attacks them first.
    It was confirmed in an official article that endermen can eat, and that chorus fruit is their “favorite food.”
    I still believe that most of what Dinnerbone said has stayed the same. The exemption being that endermites can only hitch a ride the player, since ender creatures are probably more adept at traveling through the Void. Even if pearls aren’t organs in real life, I still head-canon that they act as the “core” of ender creatures. For why endermen and endermites attack each other, I kind of interpret it as the absence of the Heart of Ender causes their minions to be more unorganized and not really working as a team, and that combined with endermites being more animalistic, the other ender mobs could see them as general pests. So when they see one outside the Void they’re like “hey we told you to stay put, die now”

I would make sense given that fact that if the needed spores to survive in both the overworld and end they could invade again, as for the merchant's case, there could be a trail Piglins can do in order to go to the overworld, but most Piglins don't take it because of the risk.
    And for the case of Piglins turning into zombies in the end, the enderman could have cursed the piglins as well. Also does anyone wonder that happen to that one Piglin with the orb of dominance?

    Correct me if I'm wrong. But in Legends, this is the first encounter that the nether and overworld had with eachother correct? And if mushrooms origniated from the nether. How does the naturally spawning mushrooms in the biomes make sense. Yes they look simular to the nether ones. And have many similarities. But they're clearly been a part of their eco-system for some time now.
    That does bring up another point about something, how did the piglins get to the overworld in the first place? They have no water to make Obsidian with. If there is a work around to not having the material in the dimension to make the portal, does that also mean that the ancient city structures could still be portals? If the piglins gained some sort of outside help to dimension hop with materials they didn't have access too. Maybe it might be the case for the city as well.
    Also also, theres no blazes in legends, do we know if there was fortresses? Or wither? I'm still unsure who made them in the first place.

      The Hosts know of the Nether as Foresight mentions in the second cinematic. They describe the piglins, seemingly with prior knowledge to what they are, as well as what type of environment the Nether is. The Hosts may have gone to the Nether before. Perhaps long ago, when the world was still being put into place and "constructed," they brought fungi with them, accidentally or otherwise, and it spread from there.
      Also, obsidian appears in small spikes jutting out of the lava in Dungeons' Soul Sand Valley level at the very least. That might be something? idk

    i dont quite believe that the overworld's fungi came from the nether. rather, the fungus in the nether and the fungi in the overworld are separate species.
    we can see that red and brown mushrooms from the overworld CAN be found in the nether. if we go off of the belief that the nether fortresses were constructed by ancient builders (the wither skeletons being the reanimated corpses of said builders and the blazes being golems for defense) then perhaps the ancient builders brought mushrooms to the nether when they realized it was one of the few things that was edible and could grow in the dimension! as for there abilities for both mushrooms to grow on and, somewhat into living beings in a parasitic way, im blanking on that

    • @WitherKing001
      @WitherKing001 10 месяцев назад

      You can't exactly have two types of organisms which are very very similar like that (both being fungi) and then have it so they just appeared entirely separately but nearly exactly the same. They had to have a common ancestor from somewhere.
      The way I look at it, fungi as a kingdom originated in the Nether and found its way to the Overworld in very ancient times. It was brought over from the Nether somehow, from beings which traveled dimensions (perhaps the Hosts as they watched the formation of the world and seemed quite familiar with the Nether as scene in the second Legends cutscene or maybe Endermen).
      Then, these Overworld fungi were reintroduced to the Nether when, like you said, ancient people journeyed there. Likely after the piglins invasion as a form of retaliation.

    But Blaze is found in Nether fortress not bastion remnant, so I agree Blaze are golem but I disagree piglin built them, more like piglin found the resources and technology but the ancient builder perfect it and built Blaze from it. My little theory is after the Legend piglin war, some ancient builder take the war to nether built the nether fortress and Blaze to defend it in a "Nether War".

    It’s way too far fetched to say piglins made blazes; instead it was likely the ancient builders of whom created the nether fortress where you can find both the blaze and wither skeletons. It doesn’t make sense if the piglins made blazes, and the only place you can find them is in a place made by their enemies the wither skeletons (once builders) who they try kill. I think that the blaze and breeze are both golems made by the builders, who have already been proven to of made golems before, and that blaze rods were a material already in the nether (possibly made by piglins or possibly not) and the blaze rods were used to make blazes afterwards

    Witches spawn in all biomes except the mushroom islands and the deep dark so it is obvious enough that they live in all biomes including underground caves
    Just because there are no witch hut or cabin structures in other biomes in the base game, doesn’t mean they canonically don’t exist. Like just because villagers, witches, and illagers cannot build or craft things in the base game doesn’t mean they canonically cannot do those things. The only reason why many canon creatures like the Endersent, the variants of chickens, pigs, cows, etc that appear in Minecraft Earth, etc and canon structures like statues, ruins, ancient hoglin fossils, etc don’t appear in the base game is because the Minecraft devs are too lazy to add them all in
    Piglins aren’t seen building, crafting, or wielding Netherite armor and tools in the base game, but that doesn’t mean they canonically don’t use them
    Minecraft devs are too lazy to add features and content into the base game, but it doesn’t affect the lore

If witches don’t build or craft, how do their huts exist and how do they have their potions? If villagers don’t build or craft, how do the villages exist and where do they get all the items they trade from?
      The Allays and golems simply help them with gathering items, building, and crafting, but that doesn’t mean they cannot build or craft on their own. Once again, the devs were too lazy to program those features into the games
