They could’ve easily released the clone side of the battle pack at regular battle pack price for $20, and same goes for the droid side. So getting both in one for $30 is a great deal. One of the few LEGO sets nowadays that isn’t overpriced

2:06 There was one other iteration that did. The BARC Speeder with Side Car lego set that featured both late Clone Wars Obi-Wan and the very first P2 Captain Rex! That variant of the BARC was prominently featured in the episode Kidnapped. :)

I bought probably 50 of the original packs and own none today. No idea where the lego went but I rebuilt my collection to about 60 of the original minifigs. I prefer the old cut out visor with black head underneath. So mich so that I had a custom decal-er make me the updated squad 42 and commander Bregan.

It was the same with me. The original "Build your army" sets really kicked off my interest in LEGO Star Wars, I brought at least four of each back in the day, they're scattered about my boxes of LEGO somewhere lol. But I'm gonna buy at least three of these when it comes out. Two for me and one for my nethews next birthday, I think this would be a great set for him.

I really love this set! It just looks amazing in my opinion, especially with how it is a slight homage to that original 2007 Clone Battle Pack set. I think that the build for the Clone Wars style Tri-Droid looks really great and pretty accurate. But I feel like they could’ve tried to do a little more with the Clone speeder and turret, they are just too puny looking in my opinion. It’s also really great to get to see some Shiny Phase 2 Clone Troopers and B2 Battle Droids for the first time in like 9 years. Also this is nothing against the set itself, but I find it kind of weird how all the Clone minifigures in this set are Shiny Phase 2s and a Phase 2 Coruscant Guard despite it clearly being based off of the Battle of Christophsis, which took place when all the Clones were still wearing their Phase 1 armor and the Phase 2 armor hadn’t even been invented yet.
