It was as fast of an install as you could hope for and as long as it is in range of your wifi router it will work. I need to do more testing to find out how long the battery will last me. To save battery life, this camera is on standby until it senses movement. I have seven active children so I would think that my home is on the extreme end of how much this camera will be tested. I will keep you posted on how often the batteries need to be charged.

Does the cell phone have to stay on WiFi for the camera to stay on line?

We just hooked ours up but it won't connect. It says connection failed. Do you know what's wrong with it?

The motion detection is useless, go and try it again , you hsve to jump up and down right in front of the camera and even then it sometimes won't pick you up. Needs sorting big time
WHY does everyone who does these videos show all the easy, obvious stuff, and SKIP the important part that I am trying to find out about? HOW do you attach the bracket to an exterior wall? I can work out how to attach the doorbell to a bracket, but NOT how to get the bracket attached to the exterior wall!!! This is SO frustrating. I have watched countless videos: all the same old, same old, but NOT ONE VIDEO shows how to fix the bracket to the wall! 🤬
For the record, I DON'T have any wooden or metal surfaces: I have rendered walls with EWI. I need some security, but I NEED to know how to fix stuff to the wall!
