Fun fact: if you take the plastic cover off the pedals and swap the throttle and clutch over you can easily invert the pedals with a couple pieces of wood and some screws, oh and take the rubber block out the brake shaft for much better feel and braking force

im abou to upgrade my wheel, my old one is shit and can only turn 270 degrees, but im wondering if i should buy a used g920 og a used g923, but im not sure which model to get
Love my g920 But I do wish they had put rubber stoppers inside so it doesn't clack supper loud while calibrating. And its messed up you have to buy a separate shifter.
I unscrewed my G920 and applied a thin layer of felt to the toothed rail (smooth side). Then grease it well again. It's now no louder than a rumble controller. To do this, be sure to remove the rubber stopper from the brake. Close the hole in the lower sleeve with a screw and hot glue and insert a thin round rubber seal into the groove. Grease everything well. It's a huge difference and you can control the brakes perfectly because the air is now compressed.
Whatever you do, don’t unplug the breakaway cable too frequently, leave that mf in as they wear down very quick. Spent 7 hours disassembling and diagnosing the wheel (as it wasn’t turning on) just to find out the breakaway cable had worn down too much and wasn’t making contact.
I had my g920 for not even a day and took it back. Couldn’t play anything without it recalibrating every 20 seconds. I tried everything and nothing worked. Literally couldn’t play a damn thing
I am building a wooden rig for this with a real car seat in it have you got any tips on what to do like mounting it I’m already mounting the pedal with m6 bolts ?
"the calibration gets loud" me with my T300 slamming into each corner "eh, not too bad :D"

As a g920 user I can confirm these tips are very useful. Great video!
Thanks!

Great video. I am thinking of getting a g923 soon.
Good luck, hope you enjoy it!
LUD DONT THAT THING IS KNOW TO WAKE UP HOUSEHOLDS AND BABIES IM SERIOUS IT SAYS IT ON SHORTS AND GOOGLE DONT DO IT
Don’t. Logitech is junk.. I got a refurbished one straight from Logitech themselves and it’s a pos wheel along with their brand new shifter
@@carbonracer1432true. For example, in my option they should get a thrustmaster T150, it's smoother to turn, quieter, better ffb, and cheaper.

Not really it’s only 50 buck and it’s a good price already without the shifter
@@toxicgamergaming7175 I don't disagree.

Yeah mine unplugs sometimes by accident so I heated up the plastic and made a clip so it can stay in place then it never falls out 🤌🏾

I feel you should look at how the metal ones are built and copy off of that and add maybe a lil more support possibly
the breaks are weird they are hard to press down for me
It has a carpet grip under the pedals
Just got one, its got a really weird noise when turning, normal clunks etc
is this the best steering wheel for beginners that's not that expensive
Yeah I think so, but don’t take my word for it I’ve only used it once
I want to get the G29. Found this video. Looks the same
I tightened the adjustment for the table too much now it’s stuck I don’t know what too do
Are you running on series x?
Yes
I’m picking up mine tomorrow
G29 shouda used bolts for screwing onto a desk. The one it uses are shit
