Cool trick with cleaning off the rock wool using a toothbrush and gluing it so the plant grows towards the front of the tank. Thanks for the advice!
Derp, I never thought about using a toothbrush to get the last bits of rockwool off plants, thanks for the tip. That tank is just getting more and more spectacular. Can't wait until you have it loaded up with tons of shrimp. Hope you and Vicky had a great weekend. Later brah.
I listen to everything you do, often times while working or in the fishroom. Actually watched this. Nice work on the video, the point of the comment is the tank looks amazing. I guess I should watch the video segments during the live streams!
i just got this plant and it's looking cute in my nano plant tank!!!!
Love me some Anubias, haven't tried the Golden. Looks great the green really pops!
Man, I love those RummyNose! That tank is looking amazing. Thank you for the plant info!
Seriously they look so good.
Loving that tank! (still hypnotized and mesmerized by those RNTs) Great tip on the color coded toothbrushes - I keep separate nets for ea tank, hadn't thought of separate toothbrushes. 👍
As always, great info and fun video to watch, thanks a lot!
Wow so cool! I got anubias nana in my tank and they’re doin’ it well! ;)
Man, this is a great video! Thanks for the advice.
very nice plant a real vivd green ,nice one .................all the best........dougie
I love my Anubia Petite Nana its my favorite aquatic plant.
Lovin the Nubes man!
I have a couple of these guys that I nestled into a couple crooks in a big piece of driftwood a while back. They've done a great job of putting down roots and grabbing hold and have grown into a pair of nice, medium/small sized plants. How their roots grow around the thing they're mounted on is super cool, almost like something out of a fantasy jungle-scape or sci-fi movie. They're great little plants.
I love them. Such and awesome plant and keeping an eye on where the roots go, makes up for the lack of massive leaf growth in my opinion. I like watching roots grow? I guess I do!
Come for the plant, stay for the man. Such a handsome gent.
Aww, I'm late. I was at the GPAS with Multi-Tank Addiction! Great video, love the toothbrush trick for rockwool remnants! Thanks for another awesome, informative plant vid!
Savanna The Aqua Llama I was unable to make the trek this time. I'll be back soon ish.
Aww, it's okay! You're such a super busy person that I'm surprised you find time to do anything at all! You'll get there when/if you get there. I still have no less than four amazing livestreams I can go to during the week and see you there!
How many days to take perfect growth anubius gold and coin
Great video! My anubias golden is arriving today. I'm gonna try your super glue tricks
Super glue gel! Works every time!
Hi.
Great looking tank👍🏻
Don’t you trim the roots on the anubias before attaching?
Needed my daily dose of cookoo, and you sir provide it, have a nice day🐙🦐🦀🐡
Can u glue it to black filter sponge chunks to stuff in between rocks
What kind of plant is that on the substrate in bottom right corner?
Was the manzanita branch actual driftwood? Can I use any waterlogged and clean branch?
This is the video I watched. Just wanting to see how your Anubis’s garden grows.
I’m planning to attach Anubias on my decor
great looking tank. i didn't know super glue was aquarium safe.
Can it be glued to a piece of lava rock?
I've got myself an Anubis that is developing a flower!
Nice
Hi, Thanks for the awesome video. I am new to planted aquariums and i have a small 10 litre aquarium in which i keep a betta. I just bought a golden an anubias nana and attached it to a coconut hull hut that I bought to provide a hiding space for the fish. My question is, will it help clean up uneaten food breaking down in the water? Also should I fertalize it?
Anubias is a very slow grower. Though it will help clean the water you would need a lot to affect it significantly
thanks! well at least it looks pretty lol. I also have a moss ball in there, but I will make sure to do water changes every week since the plant is not as effective as I had hoped it would be at cleaning the water :) thanks for the advice!
Is anubias golden same as anubias nana gold?
My annubia barterie grow not that 🐌.new leaf each month loll.
Just bought a bunch of this stuff and other plants for a new set up. All the other plants did fine accept for the golden leaf. The rhizomes discolored then got mushy and the leaves just fell off. Can't figure out what I did wrong. Any clue Corvus? Soft acidic water, temp at a constant 79 degrees and medium to low lighting. Shock maybe?
Hmmmm, you might have a bigger issue with a possible anubias disease. That said, these can be sensitive to big changes in environment. I'd double check your water, and contact the seller to see if this has happened to any of the other plants that were sold.
Corvus Oscen I'll do that. Thank you.
I just bought four of these goldens from the Co-Op - one of them has lost all (8 or 9) but three leaves; meltoff?? Still in the pots - go ahead and attach anyway?
Manzanita is a slow growing California native - I have three varieties in my yard. The bark are various shades of red. Beautiful plants - from groundcovers to bushes to small shrub trees, manzanita comes in all forms.
email me at shipping@aquariumcoop.com I'll take care of it.=)
Catfish Cave They can be sensitive to shipping at times, it should recover.
Thanks... I'll be patient.... **starts tapping fingers**
I've bought anubias nana petite and golden species at 60 dollars. They all die. The rhizome became molten. What's wrong??
Sounds like rot of some kind, I'd contact the seller
Great vid. My Java fern won't grow and just dies if I don't run co2 any idea why ?
My guess would be some limiting factor in your water column. I'd test to see what is missing from the plants perspective.
All of my goldens from the coop died immediately from that anubias rot no one seems to understand. These are lovely plants, but I just can't purchase them anymore sadly.
💯👍👍
Anyone know if this plant can be kept partically buried in sand?
Only just the roots. Do not bury the rhizome
@@CorvusOscen Will do! Thanks for the speedy response.
So super glue is safe
Thomas Rubio 100%
Second
Third 😂
Have you ever used lead weights to anchor plants? I've read they are fish safe but... It's lead. I mean...come on.
I have. They are not actually made out of lead.
