its funny, when we traded pepiot for glass + glass's extension, i took one look at glasnow's injury history and postseason performances. i said this - if he gives up 15 starts in the reg season and 0 starts in the postseason, thats considered a SUCCESS, given his history of injuries and his CHOKEJOBS in the playoffs. well, he's done that this season, so guess what? SUCCESS! hah.

Lets think positive about Glass now. Maybe he'll make it back for 10 innings in the post . I mean we aren't inside that arm and like you said tendonitis has its own plan . Lets not project bad on him
Om in the dark in the mountains so if i mispelled i apologize.
I'm not going to hate on Friedman I like his style. I'll take some high-end with high upside with a lot of risk arms over the regular arms any day

James Paxton is starting at Boston 9-3, 4.40 ERA……Friedman cut him lose after the All Star Break? There should be some accountability with Friedman…Every year we do this ….Bauer was available for league min… but the MLB blackballed him….Friedman could have picked him up, but if you don’t do every possible thing to win your no Pete Rose…

From Pennsylvania. I'm bummed out about Tyler Glasnow. That's a big loss! The three pictures we spent a billion dollars on, not one of them are pitching in this postseason! Us Dodger fans a world series for sure, especially with the biggest bats in League! I'm sure hoping we sign one or two pictures!!!!

The Padres picked up Cease and the Giants got Snell. Both of them are still pitching and have thrown no-hitters this year. Right now, I will take Pepiot’s record of 8-6, 3.76 and 119 strikeouts.

This team lacks something they had for many years. They had at one time a swagger ... it was a " punch the other team in the mouth - we can beat you at anytime and anyplace " swagger. The opposing team couldn't relax until the final out. Now they just act like everything should be handed to them. Sure at times they unload on other teams, but they also tend to flip the switch and go into cruise mode and lose games they should be winning. A whole lot of things need to be fixed.

The injury risk with Ohtani pitching is ever present. Now, next year , whenever. Either you decide he is a hitter only or you take the risk of running him out to the mound. So if he says he is ready and you want him to use as a pitcher anyway trot him out.

its funny, when we traded pepiot for glass + glass's extension, i took one look at glasnow's injury history and postseason performances. i said this - if he gives up 15 starts in the reg season and 0 starts in the postseason, thats considered a SUCCESS, given his history of injuries and his CHOKEJOBS in the playoffs. well, he's done that this season, so guess what? SUCCESS! hah.
