I don't play Resonators but this is a great guide and thanks to Raindown for not giving up on the deck and bringing this beast of a decklist to light. One of the things I like most about Yugioh in general is deck building and testing repeatedly to ultimately find what suits your play style the most (especially with fun decks).

I like this deck alot, just hit dlv max in kc cup with it but after setting up board with void ogre, rda and having no cards in hand i find its hard to follow up turn after, especially if opponent is able to destroy my board somewhat. Great guide as always.
Kaijus in general allow you to tribute a monster from your opponent’s field to special summon it to their side. If your opponent has a kaiju on their side, you can special summon one to your side. They get rid of any problematic monster and your opponent can’t stop you from doing it. Radian happens to be a fiend, so you can use it for both parts of the skill. That negates the biggest downside of kaijus, they aren‘t useable when you‘re going first. It‘s also a level 7 so you can easily synchro summon with it. It should be released in a box within the next fee months, so you don’t have to dig the selection box.
@@raindown6702if set eccentric to spell zone, so yes, its backrow removal. If normal summon and tribute it by effect, so it destroys opponent's monster

Step 1 is setting up the regular Red Rising and 3 Resonators, and then you need 2 more extenders Step 2 make the first void ogre Step 3 summon extended and use it and a tuner and make red rising #2 and bring back Crimson to make another void ogre Step 4 is repeat Step 4 And all you need is a Fiend in hand to get the skill set up, and 2 additional extenders -undead
If I was to have copies of skull meister in the deck how many should I have In it, I currently only have 2 in the deck and 2 garbage Lord in the deck or should I have 3 copies of garbage Lord instead
The main weakness of Resonator with Red Reign is Book of Book. Well, i have most of the cards but i need to burn gems into older boxes to get the remaining pieces but I have my priority of getting 3rd Lance, Fortune Lady Calling and Banishment of the Darklord.
That's the biggest weakness if you just end on scarlight, but with void and/or multiple synchros on board a single book doesn't turn off your red reign anymore. Playing into a setbook can be tricky, but you actually have multiple ways to put tuners on the board.
@@AnnihaLARG22 They said it's the only extender in the archetype, which is true. However garbagelord and luna work as extenders while not being part of the archetype.
This deck scares me because of its trap card. One day I was dueling against a player who used a "resonator" deck and I used my "Superheavy Samurai" deck. I was about to win the match (impressive right? 😂) but than he activated his trap card and all my cards except his were banished and I lost my duel.
@@asterdisaster2278 It really isn’t that bad, you make up for it just by playing your regular combo, even if you go into garbage lord you end up with a net positive in LP.
@@asterdisaster2278 I‘ve posted a list on discord, i don’t think 20c resonators are good, too many cards that you don’t want to hard draw (tuners, sprinter, etc)

Excellent guide, can you do one for infinitrack? Recently it’s been topping tournaments and seems to be a great deck for climbing the ladder on ranked

If you don't have a kaiju you could use that instead if you like but the kaiju would be better -undead

eccentric is backrow removal, that's different but can potentially also help to clear a board. Santa claws is the cheaper version of radian.

Don’t have the kaiju so I’m running Skull Meister instead. He works with the skill and is a hand trap so he’s still pretty good

I would wait for the box chips begore investing into lance because they could extend it to the girst 20 boxes

This deck is NOT good at going second, It is very susceptible to Backrow on T2
That’s the case for resonators in general, but this version actually has a shot at working while going second.
