Something I learned the hard way: do NOT use Book of Moon as your going 1st survivability tool. Face down Extra Deck monsters forget they were summoned from the Extra Deck, and no longer turn on your Lunalight Fusions. :'(
You can actually fully build it without any of the event cards but the character is definitely needed but maybe you can get her with the character ticket when the new world comes -undead
Hoping you'll see this: Was curious, i've never played a Lunalight deck before, but after the deck build box came out, do you think i should try to make them? I have recently reset my DL progress a month and a half ago, and the only real deck i've made currently is Rokkets, i'm mostly waiting for half off gems to make some other decks, but i have 6K (unintentionally) gems saved up and i'm feeling really good about Lunalights. I have also gotten really lucky and have barely even scratched the surface of the amount of gems i have in reserve. Think over all i've just gone through ~low 20K gems on the account. Looking at and reading the new support they got: I genuinely feel like it'll be a lot of fun to play with and i would like a more fusion heavy deck. My only issue is that i would love to make predaplants when Yuri comes to the game (2nd favorite irl deck, behind Rokkets), despite if they're that viable or not (already have at 3 predapractice & their 1 fusion monster from half off gems) I want to balance out not wasting gems, but also want to let myself have fun sometimes. What do you think?
I think they have a lot of potential but weatherman and I have yet to fully delve into testing it so far, but people are talking about it in the community discord -undead
Great video Undead. Have you considered making a video on the Lunalight Onomat list that plays 3x Paira and Serenade Dance? Or what about updated Magistsus?
@@team6kdl yeah it's crazy. They play Paira and Pickup at 3 to make Beatrice and Dweller/Roach Turn 1. Beatrice send Serenade Dance/Tackle Crusader. Deck pops off and looks fun. I have it built but haven't tested it yet. Just saw people playing it in the Meta Weekly on stream and figured you might be interested.
I tried Lunalight Onomats, turns out it sucks 😂 well at least for me . I kept getting screwed every time , after 2-3 hours barely made it from plat 6 to 7. Still idk it might just be my bad luck. It's not terrible when it pops off but there's a big problem with the deck. The more paira/pickup you use the more chances to have 0 recovery and also easily dies to multiple backrow
We've decided that we are gonna wait until Monarchs gets more support since the stuff from this box wasn't quite enough yet but definitely feel free to remind us again when support comes! -Undead
Or kaiju tribute to get rid of leo dancer, there's also the keeper of dragon version that uses fusion tag to summon leo when an opponent that doesn't summon from extra deck. I'd argue all luna lights should play 1 fusion substitute too, to recycle and draw

@nunyabiznes33 you can just use wightprincess its much easier to get, also Fusion sub is alright but won't be good enough until we get more Luna support -undead

@@team6kdl I did see that! However I believe that they only changed the limits to the cards associated with the deck, or am I interpreting this wrong? Please clarify this haha (new player)
@jalonsparks4386 no problem man, the thing is that now orcust has 2 different cards that are limited to 3, alongside the field spell being limited to 1, it can't be played alongside odd eyes that needs to play pendulum call that is limited to 3, and they absolutely must use odd eyes raging dragon in order to use their skill so they simply can't use the orcust field spell. Without a way to use orcust effects on the opponents turn, there isn't valid benefit to us orcust and odd eyes in the same deck anymore. People could try but they wouldn't be able to use scrap recycler which is the 1 card combo, and they'll be doing way too little for that downside in consistency to be validated. It would be better to play pure orcust or pure(magistus) odd eyes -undead
Do you have any idea when the old boxes will get discounted..i predicted in wcs finals but they not...i saved hell lot of gems to invest for needle and mask change but still each pack is 50gems...

Yea funny thing a lot of players forget that flip summoning is a summoning method cause flips are usually irrelevant

Also I'm pissed we didn't even get Black Sheep. They'll probably lock the remaining Lunas in Selection Box or something.
From the skill that they will give us next event, i think we may get black sheep in the next event, since it changes a normal poly into a luna fusion.
So insulting how Celina's AI has a full power Lunalight deck as well

consudering the skill adds a fusion spell to the main deck, is it a solution to play only 2 spells and play an extra staple ?
You can do what you like I prefer 3 so that I don't have to rely on the skill against players that play around it -undead
