Thanks for this. When I changed dipped bulbs I only released top of plastic cover and didn't need to unplug unit (pulled light out and carefully turned upside down to remove lense cover).
Thanks for this, likewise exactly what I was looking for. Staggered that the main beam light can be replaced without removing the entire headlight and yet in order to replace the dipped lights (used most commonly) you have to take the whole assembly off - ridiculous!
So a few minutes to change the ligh bulb..i have an Audi tt mark one 06..you have to take out lots of screws and bits n pieces and the whole front ( bumper and grill) section of your car. No im not joking..i looked on youtube and thought id give it a go. The 06 model has 6 extra screws to take out which are very awkward. It took 3 hours...yes to change a light bulb..thank you Audi. Vorst sprung bollocks!!!!!!!!!!
Just had one of my front dipped headlights go. This vid is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks man!
Cheers chap. I was going to buy a long torx driver. I didn't realise there is one in the boot. Saved me a few quid 👍
That's insane! I miss the days when you could do this in 5 minutes through the engine bay. I guess it depends on car and model. Thank you 🙂
Nice clear video. Thank you. Bought my TT yesterday and needed some guidance!

Thanks for the video...Took 10 mins to fit a new bulb after watching your vid. Cheers
Thanks for posting the video 👍 took barely a minute to change the bulb (just have to remember never to lose the long torx screwdriver 😉 )
Saved me 30 mins messing about! thanks, man !
Thanks for posting this. Just used it to change my bulbs. Would have been stuck without your help!!

Great video mate thanks for making and posting 👍
No need to remove plastic cover. Just remove it from upper clip, slightly pull it back and you will get an access to hidden screw!
Mate, you’re a saviour
Thanks man, exactly what I was looking for👍👍👍

Anyone ideas how undo rusted torx...dont think they been undone ever...i had 5yrs and not changed a bulb til now...well trying to.
spray will wd-40 lots and use an allen key torx instead this may give you enough leverage to shift the screw as the handle doesn't give you much..
What year is your PURPLE TT?
This is not nomething I will do now. . ahha. thats alot of work replacing the headlights 😂.. same with the airfilter. took me ages..
So I’m the only one that is replacing the bulbs through the wheel arch without removing the headlights?!🤔
Can you? Did you do it??
How???
@@seninoteroarosaundo the screws on the wheel arch and will be accessible, for easier access you can remove the wheel…but I didn’t
My bolts are rusted/seized. The tool is an absolute dog shit. What a stupid design.
