Paradox is just the publisher, The devs are great. I just picked up this game and it's incredibly fun, It's more like factorio than I was expecting, which is a good thing for me.
I think you can combine conveyer belts by directly placing one into the other. You're placing down load balancers whose job is to make both output conveyers have equal through put (or bias one side over the other), which is not at all the same as combining conveyers.
i thought the same. i thought balancer was the first splitter available where later they have more advance versions. i don't see how splitter is useful at the moment besides splitting the output into assembler and storage for now anyways
Doing it that way can lead to small gaps between items and less throughput on the belt. Using a balancer ensure the output belt will be fully compressed as long as there's enough item going in. Of course, if you're talking about what he did at about the 25 minute mark, that could've just been one belt to start with.
I've almost got Yellow automated. Fun game. Except for the bit where I had to wait 50 minutes for something to be built to continue (it cannot be sped up). Potentially a spoiler, but my advice is build the modular comms tower and establish the connection before anything else to avoid waiting like I did. Also I reckon c3 did it.
feels like a slightly more cartoony (not necessarily a negative), 1st person, Dyson Sphere Project. I'll keep an eye on it, but I don't feel compelled to jump into EA.
On one hand, I expect I’m really going to love this. The awkwardness of the scale of Satisfactory made me not like it as much as I expected to. But also the level of ripping off from Factorio feels just rude. Sure, reuse game genres and mechanics, but then naming it blue science and red science is almost like thumbing your nose at them.
if you want to start the base faster don't do what biffa did and build millions of smelter lol. just do enough to get the burner first then get research automated. there's somewhere that tells you one miner can support 2 smelter.
I'm with you Takumi, exept what he did is know what is comming a bit later. Both of you are right in this case. With your idea you would have to rip that out later and make his version... Also, 2 research is nice, but more is even better of cause... ;-)
I can already tell that laying down conveyor belts as is now would drive me insane. Having to manuall choose and rotate corner pieces looks super tedious. If you can draw belt lines, why not include drawing around corners?!
I'm having an odd bug in this game. I'll click to craft items in my inventory and nothing happens. I click a few more times and still nothing. So I reload the game and suddenly my crafted items are there (and of course way too many since I kept clicking when it didn't work) It doesn't happen every time, but yes, if any of you have that bug, reloading the save will fix it (until the next time it happens)
I saw this game some months back but it had too much of a cartoon generic feeling. After seeing this, it looks like they've really toned down the excessive cartoon feeling and expanded the build process from prior pre-release videos Paradox had.
After being used to Satisfactory and Factorio I can see how this looks way different, after playing for a while now I'm used to it. And the gameplay is very enjoyable 👍
Id rather play satisfactory. Seems like a lower quality rip off of that game. And since its from Paradox, you have to expect paid DLC eventually. No thanks.
Its worth it. Is it more a ripoff of factorio than satisfactory and for me i love the destrucable terrain also sizes down the big ass buldings in satisfactory which take too much space.
Hi, 'Minecraft' i think no, because in this game do not content animals, house, bed, not survival, no monsters and the game sale few items transaction for player add again money, seriously the dlc is not in the game... In Minecraft you can make vegetables for survive, here nothing, so the player is a simple robot for take ores for big ship and after ?
Thumbs up if you also know anyone like "Carl" that you'd like to mute! 🤣
You can purchase here: ⭐ foundry.paradoxinteractive.com/Biffa ⭐
It would be nice if you show everything you do as you play. Please turn up the vocal for the game, Can't hear it very well.
Carl looks and sounds a lot like Isaac from The Orville..... lol.
So Paradox eh. New ores will be available by DLC.
The fact it's paradox puts me off buying it
The fact it's paradox makes me excited to support it
The First updates are free for all idiots

I'm really enjoying the diving into new games again. Always here for the ride
i cant wait to see what "lets game it out" has in Store for us with this Game 😀
The quest for who can pronounce "Xenoferrite Ore" the best has begun :Z
It has a silent "Sh"
The quest to discover who understands that xenoferrite means alien iron begins as well.
zeno-fair-ite

oooohhhh, sounds like it's time for Biffa to experiment!
Love the colors of the world, the machinery models are very cool.
I love the aesthetic of this
Another new series? You do spoil us!
Enjoy :-)

So glad that you're branching out. I'm not a fan of CS but love your content. ❤
Played factorio and satisfactory now half way threw this and love it
Oh perfect! I've found THE video to watch while having lunch
Perfect! :-)
40 minutes of eating and/or drinking. That's quite a lunch you got there ;-)
I do agree though 🙂
This game reminds me a bit of dyson sphere program. Nice video.
so instead of making a line wasn't it a good idea to just have a burner next to the ignium?
I guess as a sandbox game you can do that too 😁
Can't wait to see let's game it out destroy this game too.
The real question is how do you automate tea, can someone invent the bottomless teapot lol.
😅
Looks like a cool and fun game!! 🤩
I've been enjoying it 😁👍
Love that it suggests Satisfactory. Did you ever make videos on it?
I do yes, they are a Patreon special series for those able to support me on there. IO;m actually reccording one right now! :-)
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines thats awesome, I'll give it a watch on patreon after this then :) not sure how I feel about the drones in Foundry
Enjoy!
Neat. I may actually try this one
I love watching your videos biffa, this game looks really cool ❤
Glad you like them! Thanks :-)
Nice Video!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks :-)
*Why does your loaders say intake and output at the start of the video?*
Mine are just black and I would love a layout blueprint of every item
I enjoy the look of the game
well this is going to be fun to watch😉😉
Interesting looking game!
Today's "When will Biffa notice the stairs?" moment only lasted a couple seconds...
feels like a slightly more cartoony (not necessarily a negative), 1st person, Dyson Sphere Project. I'll keep an eye on it, but I don't feel compelled to jump into EA.
I like the graphics, reminds me of Scrap Mechanic.

Would love to see a new play through
thought it was satisfactory for a sec
that thumbnail LOL i'm so honored
🙏
I'm starting to think falk is omnipresent.
But Biffa! You didn't Save The Rock! 😀
I know! 😬
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines Those tall, pointy rocks do look very Alien!

Yeah that would be a change I would make for sure :-)
37:27 you don't really need to have them belts on the blocks as shown in RCE's
The blocks are there to transmit power, so I thought I would just run the blocks along them as they were both going to the same place.
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines i know, i just thought to let you know that you didn't need to and i thought you didn't know about it at the time
Fisher Price No Man's Sky. Very No Man's Sky at start.

I probably have found out now, check the bottom left of your screen when you click... also, LMB makes one items, RMB makes 5...
Ive had a bug where I place the item, but it's invisible. I have to delete the item using shift-f and replace it to see it :Z
Hi Biffa. Gave video a thumbs up because you always deserve a thumbs up. :)
However, did not like the game.
Fair enough!

Why does the moon look like Earth's moon?
Carl sounds Australian! but the sound is too faint for me to hear properly! Is this an Australian game?
If I recall correctly the devs are a mix of American and European. Carl is text to speech according to the Paradox website.
🤷♂️
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines haha
Please fix Engitwopia
Yikes, that smelting rig is problematic. "Parallel production"
Id rather play satisfactory. Seems like a lower quality rip off of that game. And since its from Paradox, you have to expect paid DLC eventually. No thanks.
This will age well… I’ve completed both games and I’d say foundry is more complex and longer than satisfactory
Its worth it. Is it more a ripoff of factorio than satisfactory and for me i love the destrucable terrain also sizes down the big ass buldings in satisfactory which take too much space.
