Awesome idea 💡! What is the average burn time?

Thanks! With the can full, about 30 minutes and I leaves very little ash. I will make some fire starters with these also and run them through my channel.

The concept is there, the materials are just dumb, this only works if you hiking and stopping for a quick rest snack and go.

how long did it take to heat the water?

    • @HowTo-Outdoors

@@RobertBarrett-rv1hc it was 18 degrees with a 35 mph wind, so about 12 minutes. It would been faster if the weather was nicer 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm not confused but you are welcome to take your "camp stove" out in the great outdoors but where do you find wood pellets in the forest?

Wood pellets are essentially dry sawdust pressed into pellets. If you're roughnecking it in the woods, cutting branches with a hand saw will provide the dust you need.
A plastic bag with warm sawdust in it, air removed, that's allowed to get cold to compress the bag should provide a similar result(but won't be as dense).

I carry a small bag of pellets with me, along with small container of alcohol in my pack, but ya..lots of things you can find in the forest for burning as well 🔥
