Now I have to find the Ranch. I am just finishing my new place in the Middle of the Black Hills National Forest, with room for my Horse, Mule and German Shepherds that I raise. The Black Hills are Heaven to me.

When we raised beef cattle, we had calves with legs like that. An old time vet came to see us, and gave a calf a shot of Selenium. The calf was fine the next day... After that, we started using trace mineral with Selenium, and never had a problem again. Gave that to the cows, and when they calved, the problem never showed up again!

Good Morning Carson. So nice to see all the grandbabies with their Nana. She is so happy.
Glad to see the season is almost over. It is a lot of work for you. I miss the blue skies today.
Our days are not as cold. Daytime above freezing and the nights just a degree or more below freezing. Hugs to Damaris

It is great that your sister and family are now to close by and you can spend a lot of time together as a family. Your parents are getting a nice group of grandkids.

Love the channel, I grew up on a ranch in Eastern MT and our cow herd looked very similar to yours. Everything you show is very similar to how we ranched and what we experienced even the pesky coyotes. Possible solution for the turkey problem, set up a propane cannon where you stack your hay, that might keep the turkeys out.

I had a calf this year with the tendon problem also. I can definitely relate. The comment I made about the red cows was just for fun. I run red simmental on black and red cows and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to color. Had a black cow with black calf last year. Red calf this year. Same bull.?. Your son is really growing. He is a handsome lad. Enjoy all your videos.

Hey Carson, yes, there are a few sayings around to describe someone/ animal that is a bit dim-witted. We say that they are a few Kangaroos short in the top paddock or perhaps a sandwich short for a picnic. I don't know where these sayings originated, but it's a more charitable way of stating the obvious in some circumstances. I noted one comment that mentioned Selenium to treat contracted tendons, be interesting to know the rate and how often he administered it. I know you will all be pleased to see the back end of winter, but for us Down Under, looking at the drone shots across the hills with the snow is very therapeutic. I tried skiing a few times many years ago. We went south to the Australian Alps, where it snows; it wasn't my finest endeavor. I ended up with the nickname Avalanche, and to this day, I still cannot work out why. Thanks again for the video.
