About Project Fame: Project Fame West Africa is a regional music talent reality TV Show produced in Lagos Nigeria and aired across West Africa. The show features contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. Auditions are conducted in these four West African countries to select a total of 24 contestants who then advance to the next stage and converge in Lagos, where the judges will weed off 6 contestants, leaving 18 to advance to the semi finals. From these 18, only 15 will advance to the Academy where they will be drilled and trained in the art of music for weeks.
The show runs for a total of 10 weeks, during which one contestant will be evicted every week for the duration of the show. One winner will emerge and win the star prize, while first and second runners up go home with consolation prizes.

Okiemute even if she doesn't win, SHE IS THE BREAKOUT STAR OF PROJECT FAME SEASON 9. From Day 1 this girl has been phenomenal, no disappointments at all. She worked hard to get her recognition and didn't depend on any contestant to boost her fame . I see her blowing like Chidinma or even more. who else thinks dapo is just here to complete the super six??.., lol.., don't kill me pls.., just my thoughts!!..., one good thing about him though is, with his style of music, he will blend easily into the Nigerian Music industry
Truly, this season started very slow and many including me got bored but today I have listened to some of the best compositions on the show. It's also delightful to notice that all the contestants actually composed songs in the genres that they have excelled in so far. This added to the smoothness and appeal.
My review:
Winner: I know many Nigerians may not appreciate that soulful genre of music but for those who do, you would have realised the seeming quiet technicalities that went into its composition and delivery. She's such an amazing vocalist. Lovely.
Kitay: Another exemplary composition and performance. It's sounded so real yet familiar. Like a song you've been listening to all your life. It was so relatable. His freestyle and emoting skills all added to the shine. Intense.
Pere: His song sounds like it was easy but it wasn't totally. His switching to different levels was smooth. He has found a style for himself and he will make a name with that sound hopefully. Endearing.
Elizabeth: We may just have found a new Asa with a twist with us. Lizzy actually discovered her brand on this show and it sure works for her. It was her kind of her thing. It left me hanging to every note and lyric. However, I was waiting for something that I knew could have blown it to the roof. A bridge that would switch to a street/Yoruba talking-singing that she does so well. It was just that topping the song needed. Still, it was a great one.
Okiemute! This girl has to do music or nothing. Her song just scaled all the walls right into the international alley. It was perfect. The composition was true - the lyrics and interpretation plus earnest delivery. And whoever said she only brings the magic when she moves and gyrates couldn't have been more wrong. From that still position, she belted and filled that whole studio with that amazing rich strong texture of a voice. Splendid.
Dapo: He did the usual naija thingy and had the least technical song in the aspect of composition. However, he was comfortable in that lane and made it work. If he will consider continuing in that genre, he would need the extra to stand out in the already crowded genre. Nice.
So, I know someone has already won. You, yes you. That the uncle of your cousin's step aunty and grandfather went to the live shows. Kindly, keep the info to yourself so I can pretend to be surprised and delighted tomorrow when I finally watch the dead...sorry live streaming. Thanks. Bye. 😊☺

Kitay and Okiemute personal composition were really soul touching! Having Dapo sing after that lovely rendition by Okie may seem anti- climax but that Dapo song could actually be great hit in naija.. So proud of the top3 Okiemute, Elizabeth and Kitay! Go conquer the world!!!

I finally finished watching the episode and all I can say is that I was never really an Okiemute fan, but I must give honor where honor is due...she killed it!!!! And she deserved the win

Okiemute...Early in the competition, she always looked clueless in the house with her mouth opened anytime the camera zoomed in on her 😂, ... she was slowly transformed to a diva by pj fame..when she performs..vocal onpoint, stage performance..on point, make up onpoint...infact everything on point. Very consistent performer. i hope to meet her one day. i wish her success in the nigerian music industry!

This season was so emotional, in this season maybe the contestant don't have that bond between each other but u can see the bond with the judges, especially the faculties and the audience was dope! personal compositions.
1. for me was okeimute, ever since she started working on the song with cobahms I loved it, I remember it singing to and from the shower this morning, I couldn't blink till she finished that performance, mummy J then made me cry later sha .Only if that performance was a week before, I would be so sure of her winning pf 9.0
2. Kitay has been my king from day one, d story behind the song made me love it, and to kill it, he emoted, and his vocals got me like chaii,,I must marry a kitay in life,
3. Elizabeth, initially I resisted the song, coz I didn't get it, i even told my sister that m so disappointed, then I listened again, it is really a unique piece, very distinct and has got weight, I took my time to analyse the lyrics and the technicality of the song and m like wow, did u come up with this?..then I figured out that I resisted it coz it is not wat I am used to or what I was expecting, it was beautiful.
4. Perreere, he did justice to his song, it sounds like something I would play on my wedding day and yeah, he did play with words.
5. Dapo, I really loved dapo's song in the academy but I don't know what happened on stage, it didn't come out the way I pictured, they changed the beat and the pace of the song, I could read that through him, anyway he still did justice to it, m sure when he releases his album he will have a say on the way the beat should go.
6. winner, I didn't watch her full performance I ended up forwarding it to the comments part, her voice is amazing, but I naturally don't like too slow songs, maybe that is why she is last on my list. (my bad) plus she didn't start off too well for me, I don't know if she later picked up sha o.
In summary, the super six are indeed super, I can't believe they are the same set of contestants that got into the academy months ago.They have indeed grown. may the best guy/lady win.
