About Project Fame: Project Fame West Africa is a regional music talent reality TV Show produced in Lagos Nigeria and aired across West Africa. The show features contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. Auditions are conducted in these four West African countries to select a total of 24 contestants who then advance to the next stage and converge in Lagos, where the judges will weed off 6 contestants, leaving 18 to advance to the semi finals. From these 18, only 15 will advance to the Academy where they will be drilled and trained in the art of music for weeks.
The show runs for a total of 10 weeks, during which one contestant will be evicted every week for the duration of the show. One winner will emerge and win the star prize, while first and second runners up go home with consolation prizes.

A well deserved win. For the first time in many seasons I'm totally satisfied with how the prizes went down.
For those saying Kitay was rejoicing over Pere getting fourth and thinking he already won, that wasn't it at all. With the 4th position announced, Kitay knew he was assured of a car and second, he was nearer the prize. It would be silly for Kitay not to have acknowledged Okiemute as a threat. Lizzy rose at the right time in the show and this shot her right up. She could have even won and it would not have been the first time, someone else than the best won.
I would have switched Winner to 5th place though and Dapo to 6th, if it were left to me, but it wasn't hard to accept because I knew Winner would not be part of the last 4.
And for the KitLiz conspiracies - that didn't affect Kitay's chances of winning. In fact, it was the appeal of the love series that raised his and Lizzy's ratings. They helped each other and it was one functional liaison. I do hope it blossoms post-PF.
Okiemute came ready and she deserved to win. I hope she attains the real stardom and fame and doesn't join the growing list of winners that just dwindle after a while. She's got all it takes to blow.

Miss Ige! Wow! She just had to show off her amazing pitch 😍. I haven't seen anyone even on international shows attempt singing that song on such a high octave. Very brazen delivery by the queen of vocals herself. Respect. No, she wasn't winded. It was intentional singing the song different from the usual.

You don't have to say negative things about someone you don't even know. During their after party, everyone wanted to take a selfie with KITAY even more than the winner. When okiemute name was mentioned as the winner only her family that ran outside, no excitement at all. So many people wanted KITAY to win. Even his mum was content at least he had a car and 2m at just 21. That was the same feeling KITAY had and so many people said he was proud. Kitay was happy that no matter what happened, he had a car. He was even consoling Lizzy because she didn't win. If u get closer to Kitay you will see how amazing he is. He was so free jovial respected everyone that wanted a selfie with him and he danced with so many people. Kitay might look or sound so confident, that doesn't make him arrogant. I usually had wrong vibes about most of the contestant but seeing them live in the studio, I realized how it is not easy to just be criticizing people you don't even know. #FreeKITAY. God never created anyone perfect. We all have our flaws. U just have to stay just 1min with KITAY and realize how amazing this young guy is. I may not watch this season all through, but the few performances i saw, Elizabeth shone better than okiemute ( i may be wrong though but clearly from her performance of ijoya, tiwa savage and rihanna song, she killed the performances). Kitay got that placing cuz he was a guy who could sing. The guys didn't bring what the girls brought this year, dancing singing, attitude THROUGHOUT. Okie stepped her game up when she came out doing osinachi. Everyone recognised her effort to push and really do it every week. I AM PROUDDDD OF HER 💙💙💙💙💙

This season's votes/results is on point.Okiemute deserves the win well arranged though I wish pere was among the top 3 but at the same time I feel the top 3 deserves nothing less . What I noticed amongst the contestants is they are all desperate for the 5m, there's no spirit of sportsmanship, it's a competition anybody can win they are not happy for each other unlike seasons 7$8, we are talking of kitay's reaction when pere was called as the 4th,they all have that look on their faces.

Hahaha I am so glad. I must have a good hear and eye for amazing singers because anytime I give a contestant my relentless support they end up winning first it was Geoffrey PF7 and now Okiemute PF9...welldone girl you deserve it 110%. My personal opinion about the super six- Okiemute is an amazing versatile singer you just got to love her, Pere got that pleasant voice you are always happy or want to hear, Winner has got amazing vocals ( (sentiments aside please) probably one of the best in PF9 she deserved better, Kitay is one of those smart singers that knows how to give his fans what they want, Elizabeth is pretty good but the kind of singer that appeals mostly to just her fans, Dapo still got a lot of work to do but probably the closest reflection of what we are getting mostly in our Nigerian music industry.
I disagree with you concerning Elizabeth, she is definitely not a conventional singer. She always puts her element in her songs and that is what makes her performances unique. She does it her own way.
I never said she is. Her voice is pleasant to her fans implies she has her own niche which is not a bad thing. For me sometimes I liked her voice and other times I didn't that is why I said 'my opinion'. Cheers
