Підсумки на три магазини до АКМ, на 4 магазини до АК-74. Для РПК-74 були свої власні підсумки, яких немає в відео.

@@Shadow_3-1 Bags for three magazines were for AKM. For the AK-74, there were bags for 4 magazines. There were completely different bags for the RPK-74, which are not in the video.

@@Moneta_Kissok now I understand, I have however seen many pictures of regular army and VDV using 3 cell pouches for both the AKM and AK74. If I remember correctly, the 4 cell pouch is deeper for the 40 round magazines that RPK74 carries

@@Shadow_3-1 Unfortunately, my answer with the link to the photo has been deleted. I am writing again))). Yes, any bags could be used, but I am talking about regular use. The 4-mag pouches for the AK-74 were for 30-round magazines. For the RPK-74, there were also bags for 4 magazines, but for 45 (not 40) cartridges. They still had a shoulder strap. I say this from my own experience, because during my service in the army, my weapon for some time was the RPK-74. Since RUclips does not allow you to post a link to the photo, just type this phrase into Google, I wrote it specifically in Cyrillic, it should give the correct result.

Y straps were rarely used by Soviet forces in Afghanistan. They were really only used by DRA troops.

Yes. It was mostly used in the early war but I still found it worth mentioning.

There are pictures and it is common knowledge that they were used. Being technical though, the PMG2 had the exact same bag so you could say it was those.
