Thank you ivan for all the top quallity information i can see you spend alot of time making these kinds of videos and would never spread misinformation thank you! Keep going!
Thank you for making this video, it's extremely informative. Question: I have seen black RPK74 pouches, but I have never seen a black 7.62 RPK magazine pouch. Were any made?
Hello, as per documents they should be, but I have never seen one. Generally even RPK74 pouches for Naval Infantry are extremely rare and just started to show up in Russian stores recently.
@@RedIvanMilitaryEng awesome, thanks for the reply. Any chance you'll cover any Warsaw Pact / Cold War era army uniforms / gear, like Romania or Hungaria?
Hello Ivan, yours videos help a lot in my research dude, TKS. One question: @0:41 , 1:43 and 2:08, which was your source? I`m reading some Osprey series for now. Regards comrade!
1:43, 2:08 is restored www.vedomstva-uniforma.ru/forma1969/1969.html, 0:41 one of my friends shared a picture of the article, there is no electronic version of this journal.
So they wearing belt and trouser belt at the same time. Do that feel uncomfortable with that belt overlap with trouser belt and outside belt got heavier with all equipment hanging on it
Initially this belts are in the different levels, so no discomfort. But even if you line them up, the trousers belt is very thin and covered by jacket so you won’t fill any discomfort any way and will keep your trousers on at all time. US troops in Vietnam could handle even thicker trousers belt with bigger buck in combination with m1956 pistol belt

Many thanks, dude!
So why were they painted black?
What would be the proper boot to wear? Would margelovskie boots work, or would jackboots be more accurate?
Jackboots for privates, m1981, margelovki for officers.
