The annual Antelope Valley Fair full-size car Demo Derby took place at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds and we were there to film the action. Enjoy the seven camera angles and car crunching action.

The 87 car won. He made the last hit. Besides I sat here waiting for the front end of the 008 to get creamed, finishing the front end off, but he spent most of the heat avoiding hits.

It would be too expensive to get a new car just to crush it and crash it,so they go to the dump to find a car.

These demo derbies don't look a thing like the safety ratings crash tests. The demo drivers (professional crash dummies) make their cars look like featherweight, aluminum toy cars.
The vehicles in crash tests are going in excess of 50+ mph, these cars (being that it is dirt) are going max 25

Dale Campbell It's good isn't it, most of our oval racing is contact check out Brisca F1 Stock Car Racing it's like Sprint Car racing but the cars have bumpers to knock the opposition out of the way..

The officials did a piss poor job with this derby. 87 is the winner, not sure why they just hand picked the 008. What a load of bs.

The point is not to kill any one. It's just clean crazy fun. Smash some cars and see who can last the longest. No need to send some one to the hospital because they got their neck broken from too hard of a hit.
