The annoying point for Phil Jones header was that the whole game he was the only player who could aim his headers. And actually get them there. Maguire doesn't do this, and yet Jones will be dropped for a mistake. He was the one defender who went to the ball and blocked shots.
When you play terrible football you cling to the results but when the results don’t come you’ve got nothing, even when United played terrible we were justifying it with 10 points in 12 when you see teams like Arsenal Tottenham or West Ham lose, they might not get the results that they want but they have there brand of football and identity to hold onto but United have nothing when they lose because they’ve lost their identity

Manager got it wrong today, a lot of mistakes, but a manager's job isn't to teach players how to do a 5yrd pass or other basic fundamentals. These players need to take responsibility.

Agreed players need to take responsibility, can't see it happening, however it is the manager job to ensure he fields players that can do the fundamental stuff and the 5 yard pass, and if they can't or will not then it is his job to have the balls to get them off no matter who they are.

Two moments in the match, Sancho not passing to Ronaldo and Cavani not passing to Greenwood, was the lack of confidence and the lack of trust in each other.
Jones played well, credit where it's due.
That's the positives out of the way. Why the hell didn't Sancho play Ronaldo in??? Chances are that would've been 1-0 to Utd. Why was Greenwood taken off? Wolves couldn't handle him! All Rashford had to do was play a simple pass and we had a man in one on one and he messed it up. He's completely bereft of any confidence.
Rashy not even regret to his stupid decision and cost the team after he failed to take the advantage of that situation .

Sancho was shite, absolute joke that greenwood was taken off over him. Midfield was shocking, matic and mctominay can handle Burnley at home but were exposed today against a better team. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see how far we have gone compare to the level of city and liverpool. From the best club in the league to someone who is not even challenging for pl for so many years now. Things do not change no matter what we do.

When Rangnick came in im not gonna lie i felt optimistic. a new blood, a new page. but after a month the whole excitement has died down. and we know if we have a bad run there will be pressure on him when there wasn't on ole. he made mistakes but he's basically left in the dark by the previous regime. some of our players are just not good enough, and those who are probably good enough won't get game time. half of the squad needs to be gone starting with the captain, but this will be the boldest move for man utd in 10 years and i just feel we have a board thats too incompetent to carry out the action
When a city,Liverpool player is with the ball,you see 2-3 teammates running beside/near him waiting for the ball. But united,teammates stay far apart

Squad was good enough to challenge at the start of the season with Ronaldo Cavani Sancho Bruno Pogba Shaw Varane De Gea but the manager was poor and had no coherent tactical system, it was just a team of individuals.

How is Greenwood the first player to get subbed off, easily the best attacking player today. Should have been Ronaldo/Cavani out and put Greenwood upfront. I am shocked by this desicion
Ralf Rangnick has to find his correct position in the team. He already spent several weeks here and probably understood who're the people around him. He's not obsessed to any particular player, but he's dominated by some hidden characters. Some parallel administration might be working beyond his reach. I said in his beginning, Mr. Rangnick will fail. And still I stand by my opinion. No argument about that.

We can blame the players as much as we like but this is on the manager and the coaches. I have seen NOTHING about Rangnick’s system that’s improved us. Top managers are able to adapt to their players. If Rangnick was going to be manager for the next 5/6 years then his system would eventually work when he gets his players. He doesn’t have any of them at the club. Sancho and Greenwood cannot play the 10 role, neither can Bruno, McTominay is limited, so is Fred, Matic is passed it, Wan Bissaka couldn’t cross a road and our strikers have a combined age of 72 doing the graveyard shift.
The manager has to change his style to suit the players. Everything should be going through Bruno in central midfield, Sancho should be playing as wide as possible and get chances to go past his man and Greenwood should be playing as a striker. His best game this season was as a 9. These players cannot play the Rangnick style and most of them probably know they won’t have to for long if a new manager is coming in the summer.
At least play a system that suits them so we’re not burning out players like Sancho and Greenwood, getting Ronaldo and Cavani on the end of crosses and through balls and not isolating our midfield, it’s ridiculous!

Yeah, you know nothing about football if you think everything should be going through a player who can't pass in tight spaces, has no 1st touch, no technical ability and no footballing brain. Sporting have literally GREATLY improved as soon as they stopped playing through that fraudulent player.
You play through players like Matic and Jorginho who are gonna keep the ball ticking smoothly, not a fraud who just lobs long balls without even picking up his head to see what's around him

Fletcher is Ferguson's love child. It reminds me of united "post Busby", when the influence continued from behind the scenes. United will continue to have yes men till the ownership changes and a real new broom comes through.
Confidence is shot. until we get a couple of decent performances things are not going to improve. There's clearly a split dressing room too. We need to move a few on, get a few in and focus on being in a better place for next season. Rangnick is a long term thinker, I suspect he's left Bruno out today just to see if the others cope. He's assessing still. Let's not panic and do the usual Internet nonsense

Manager is not the problem it is some of these clowns who does not deserve to wear the shirt. A team like wolves have way better mid than us. Our rb is one of the worst in the world in crossing. So many things need to be changed. Ronaldo offers nothing when he isn't scoring.
The players lack both physicality and mentality. Six years of Jose's park the bus and Ole's "do whatever ya want lads" have made the squad lazy and sloppy both on and off the ball. And the mentality of these players is even worse, too long they've been allowed to revel in mediocrity and get away with not giving their 100%. The club lacks overall ambition and vision and now they're paying the price.
Ragnick went on about how great Cavani's hold up play is. Well Cavani can't hold the ball up and his passing is atrocious. Not singling anyone out because everyone was thrash.

We need to use more youth players! we have great young fresh talent that doesn't get used at all.
The seasons over so why not concentrate on the champions league and give some youth players a try we've nothing to lose! Also Jones I thought played really well one slack header which Shaw was at fault for and the midfield are lost.. I also think Shaw and wan bissaka haven't been as good as dalot and telles they don't suit the formations tactics in my opinion..
I think whatever formation in place players should move forward and hold temporary positions where they can circulate the ball in between them in a duo, trio or whatever. This is what was missing last night. What i got from this match is that when you dont play in such an organised and collective way every obstacles like slipping,mistakes , losing the ball or tiredness will become a big obstacle.
I said this last week I didn't want to have a go at rangnick but his team selections are terrible the fact that we let conte go by is in excusable and the fact that some fans didn't want him is laughable
