Reusable Remote Redstone Teleportation in Vanilla Minecraft + Tutorial

- I have built a redstone mechanism that teleports the player to any location without using mods and command blocks. This mechanism can be built in Survival and activated without the help of friends.
This is a completely vanilla way to teleport between different points. This mechanism does not replace ice highways in the Nether or mods that teleport the player in one click, but it is suitable for those who want to get a pure vanilla experience from Minecraft.
The video shows how the mechanism works and how to easily build it in your world.

sick tech man :D
What version is your world from the link btw? Or is it, what Earth version did you come from which you brought advanced Redstone tech into this world? Lol jk srsly what was the version :'D
how do you not lag with all those maps on the floor of your base
You can make a global redstone update with just repeaters and a daylight sensor if the repeater delays match it triggers every daylight sensor with that same timing delay... You could put it down anywhere at anytime.
Imagine having such a machine, but smelting iron by hand
The entire budget was spent on the design of the teleport...
Such power comes with great sacrifice...
He’s a quantum physicist, not a mechanical engineer
Professionals have standards.
I’m working on it rn actually lol
Its like quick travel but instead of a loading screen, you continue playing the game in the area you are at, that's hella useful.
It's pretty useful. The chunkloader mechanisms seem super interesting, only thing is cost effectiveness. I dunno if there'd ever be a situation where this is cheaper than a blue-ice road or just pearl stasis with an alt, especially for longer distances.
😮😮@@heliothrax7716
diablo 2
@@heliothrax7716Only seems like an option when you're at the end game and is just making builds. Elytra on the nether roof would still be more cost effective
@@heliothrax7716 well its definitely on a higher level of luxury than blue ice you literally just press a button and youre there
He's actually so technologically advanced he made a fast travel system in minecraft like you might see in other games
How does this work tho
@@woodsdaily idk in details but somehow he managed to load other areas of the map far away that have a ender pearl floating on water or something like that. When he sent the minecart with the paper in it, something detects the "value" of this item (paper), wich I think will be different if different stuff is written in it. Once the system he made determines the value of this item, as a consequence, it decides where the minecart should go. It travel via the nether (every block walked there is proporcional to 8 blocks in the overworld) using a very fast above ice path, getting in the coordinates in seconds, entering another nether portal and activeting the ender pearl system that make It drop on the floor, teleporting the player. It seems that this system auto-shoots this ender pearl and re-setup itself for future activations.
@@JohnyOSRS understandable that's insane someone came up with that in MC. A 100% vanilla overworld fast travel
@@JohnyOSRS the only thing that travels to the destination is the redstone signal. the minecart that takes the "ticket" returns to its original position after transferring it to the machine that determines where to send the signal. which you can see by watching the video.
Its wireless redstone by cubicmetre. He didnt invent anything@@JohnyOSRS
i dont think the developers ever considered such designs were even possible
They definitely didn't lol. I feel like chunk loaders themselves would be dark arts.
Developers aren't gods of the game btw (omniscient)
No dev no matter how big of a company they are and no matter how many testers they have can accountfor every single possible thing every single player can try
The identical bases really goes the extra mile for presentation. Love everything about this.
Structure blocks are so useful for stuff like this ngl
kinda makes it harder to understand for me. i’m only in the middle of the demonstration though
@@JonStallworthYeah, if the bases had different themes or something then the demonstration would've been slightly easier to follow
“I love Minecraft because of how simple it is. That’s what makes it such a great game!”

I genuinely thought it was Minecraft music
I was wondering why this video made me think of spore
That system is what i dreamed about.
I will build a hub where I can teleport in different locations. Also it will reduce work by using same player wires because they are one way.
And of course, you're the most based Minecraft redstoner for using spore music

Absolutely incredible design. I haven't bothered to play around much with ender pearl stasis chambers due to the old school limitations of requiring a second player's input or being restricted to a tight timing system (e.g. daylight sensors). This system gives players the freedom to decide when their stasis chambers will activate and is fully operational on singleplayer. Although the system is quite expensive both in resource and time costs, I feel that it is very worth the investment especially for large technical-based Minecraft communities.
One thing about stasis chambers you may have forgotten about is the addition of the gamerule enderPearlsVanishOnDeath introduced in Java 1.20.2. This gamerule allows you to determine whether ender pearls will vanish upon their owner's death. It defaults to true but setting it to false should enable ender pearls within stasis chambers remaining if their thrower dies.
Wow, I didn't know about the new gamerule! In this case, this teleporter gets a new advantage.
When I play with friends in Survival mode, I always build a primitive stasis chamber, taking into account that one of my friends will help me activate it, but it didn't always work out. So I decided to look for a way to make a fully working teleport in a vanilla game. The resulting mechanism may not be perfect, but now the Minecraft community has an idea that can be improved
@@verwave awesome design, very similar premise to a similar concept I had (and was too lazy to get around to actually building). I was planning to send a minecart on a really long loop with the encoded item for the sake of the amount of unique signals that could be sent that way, definitely not as practical speedwise as your redstone line implementation though. Also didn't know about a stasis chamber design that lets you stack charges, I'll definitely remember that. One thing idk if you've heard of is using wolves to create a self triggering "magic mirror" type effect. I forget the exact specifics but you can build a mechanism that uses cats standing up when their owner leaves the present dimension to detect when the player enters the nether/end or logs out of the server (singleplayer logout trigger only works when built in spawn chunks). Combined with a timed trigger that will activate if the player returns within a set time window linked to a stasis chamber you can use that to trigger a teleport from anywhere in the same dimension without the assistance of another player by simply logging out then back in after counting however long you've set it to. Say within 10 seconds and have it return you to your main base/central teleport hub. Or I believe you can have multiple and offset the timer window so that it will only trigger if you return in no less than 20 seconds and no more than 30, then 30-40 seconds for a different destination etc. There was a video I watched ages ago detailing the exact design for the cat detection mechanism and the limitations with using it.
Edit:
I was curious and tried to find it again, found a different better video though by potato_noir (instant wireless teleportation using cats improved). Theres also a really cheap design using beds thats easy to setup early game (also mentioned in that video) and a way to do something similar with a bugged fishing rod that will trigger when you use it, rather finnicky to reset and breaks under a lot more circumstances (can't even come within render distance of the mechanism once set).
1:05 Oh I love the little chime!
Google is 100% listening to my mic for recommending me this right after I was talking about how much I needed something like this
Try talking about a product you really want around any computer for 20 seconds, and then check the ads you get.
Etho and Tango must see this ! Great work man
ethos has a similar one on his single player world, but without Minecart. this is basically that but with the mail system they built on hermitcraft.
I have seen some that use cats, so the players relog into the game and teleport them back to base.
I was gonna say this
Since they did the mail system, why not go for this. Doesn’t have to be this season but maybe the next one
It’ll be so hype
I mean, If I understood it correctly this is the "Hermit mail system" connected with enderporter.
This is some next level shit man. I'm not normally a vanilla enjoyer but this is such a cool system. Hopefully this video blows up, because this deserves attention from even the iconic minecraft redstoners.
I thought the chunk loaders are a modded item?
@@QualityPen you can make chunk loaders with nether portals in vanilla
Why does it deserve attention? Its a shit system. There are already more complex, actually useful and more advanced methods for long range redstone communication in minecraft.
The map floor is so beautiful!
Upon see the wiring in the Nether, I immediately think about replacing it with wireless redstone signal receivers that have no distance limit in the same dimension and constant delay.
BUT the receivers have to be enabled all the time, which means each of them needs a chunk loader. So your design is more friendly to the server :D
(Also they are loud and not reliable in single player worlds)
are you talking about the item synchronization wireless redstone? that could be pretty awesome. it should reduce travel time and lag spikes (from loading many chunks at once) in exchange for some always-on chunk loaders
I was thinking that one could try using Leaf-stone (IE observer, piston, wood, and repeat…), and just taking the same output needed for the piston to activate the line. It would mean smaller delays between chunk loaders though… don’t know if that would be a problem.
@@BareTunaYes! That would definitely reduce travel time by A LOT, and reduce all the wiring costs between bases to zero.
But I don't know, it's hard to choose between traveling FAST and this design.
If I had such a beautiful map floor, it would be nice to keep the feeling of distance between bases.
Also in an era that players could warp through space with ender pearls, "further bases needs a little bit more waiting time" give me some kind of old-school vibe, like Polaroid?
yeah the main benefit here is that its not having to be perma-loaded
Loading a single chunk constantly does not hurt the server barely at all
Spore OST with Minecraft is absolutely enlightened, my word
always loving the spore music lmfao
i understand literally nothing but i am still entertained watching you build the contraption and watching it work out like intended
Nice... The Hermits of Hermitcraft use the same type of redstone for a mail system to send shulkers to other hermits bases. Really cool. I think Etho or one of the other hermits talking about doing something like this as well. Well done!
You are correct. Etho does seem to have finished his as you can see it in his most recent video… but he doesn’t really make an effort to talk about it unfortunately.
@@Dyl6886 Very true. I like your version of it with the ender pearls. Genius!
Wow, this is awesome! Loving the Spore OST :)
this could make for a really cool scenario where there are some half-broken precursor stargates around the world, and the story revolves around studying them and rebuilding/extending the network
I'm so glad you put the music in the description, because at 3:56 I instantly knew
your video is neat as hell. good narration, showcase, explanation and vibes. keep up the good work!
I had built a prototype of a stasis-teleport hub on my survival server like 3 years ago, I always wanted to make a fully functional one that could handle multiple players, still havent finished one yet tho (love survival im not gonna lie).
I was using 2 lines, one forwards and one back, both within a simple 3x3 tunnel, and basically the send signal would be a solid "on" until all the chunkloaders along the path lit up (letting the signal continue forwards) and then a return pulse came back, then the central brain (in spawn, permanently loaded) would pulse 1-4 times depending on which player used it. The chunkloaders would turn off after the line went off and likewise the player would teleport once the encoded pulses stopped.
I love this video, I've been wanting to do exactly this for so long. The ONLY thing I would change is that I would jsut drop the items into a water stream by hovering over them and hitting q and having that flow into the portal instead of placing the item into the minecart
Yeah I remember trying to plan the same thing too, though I was planning on doing it in a more decentralised way, where each hub just passed the signal on until it matched one. Though... that comes with problems of course.
Really cool.
I tried setting up something based on nether redstone+ender pearl chambers on a server a couple years ago but ultimately got bogged down trying to work out the minutae of how it would work. Really cool seeing how a pro would set something like this up.
Ive been trying to come up with my own way of doing this for a while now. Thank you! This is so useful and I cant wait to implement this into my world
Wow this is legit one of the best vanilla minecraft build i've ever seen. You're such a redstone engineer
Amazing. Also the Spore music is such a nice touch.
That Spore music hits so hard. I miss that game and the fun I had with it as a kid
Awe man, the spore soundtrack for this was an excellent choice, brings back so many memories ♥️
Underrated channel. Love the style of your videos :D
This is ground breaking I will make in my server thanks for this I love redstone but don't have enough time to experiment with it . Because of you I will be able to make different bases in diff places.
THANK YOU AND keep it upp...!!
awesome, i’ve thought of this idea but never seen anyone do it this well
This is super cool, I might have to build this
(also, really well-made video)
The sheer number of nether portals necessary for this makes me miss when chunk loading could be done with hoppers pointing into adjacent chunks, although I guess the portals have the benefit of eventually unloading.
Mojang really needs to implement some new chunk loading tech.
I didn't even know you could chunk load in vanilla
@@CorzappyYes. I really hate that we have to load chunks in minecraft. It's one of the biggest downsides I have with the game
@@bankaihampter2802what would be the alternative to loading chunks? You know you can't just load everything at once, right? That's just not possible with current hardware
@@thefurry7165 Yes it is. Pretty much any modern computer can comfortably handle 100+ chunks being loaded in vanilla at the same time. Try it with FTBChunks in an otherwise vanilla world, you'll see almost no drop in TPS
this is so cool, im desining my own version right now. its really fun playing around with that stuf
Crazy stuff, ingenious. Also, great music choice!
I'm surprised you don't have way more than 1.63k subscribers, this video is great. Thank you :D

WOAHHHHHHH. just simply fascinating. good stuff mate.
This is wild, what a trip seeing almost the same base but a different biome!
I love that u used spore ost, brought me so many memories, thank u for reminding me such a mythical game
People who discover and come up with these kinds of things are insane
The system reminded me of the ancient chunkloading method using long redstone network! Truly well done!
remarkable bit of redstone tech!
I have been playing this game for as long as I have memories
Yet its players keep on impressing me everytime
This game is truly limitless, props man
Neat system, I was working in a similar design but the usage of a sorting system is a very great idea, congrats.
This is such a fascinating machine, I am sure it is very useful for RPG worlds where you want to have fast travel as a game mechanic. Probably lightens the mod/plugin/etc. load by not needing to have a warp mod or equivalent installed.
this is awesome!! I've been planning something very similar to this on my server for a year or two as well
I am now imagining an alternative universe where miniaturization of electronic never happened so humans found away to break into the hell dimension to conveniently store all of our enormous vacuum tube powered computers in.
Witchcraft. This man is a red stone sorcerer. I’m actually baffled. This is amazing. I didn’t think a machine like this was possible in vanilla without using command blocks
I like how u use the spore soundtrack, it makes me feel nostalgic haha

That might just be the coolest intro I've seen in a long time.
this is genuinely insane
How people like this is insane patience i always give up my world when getting bored or losing my items insane!!!!
This is one of those things that I'm amazed no one has thought of already. As soon as you demonstrated it I instantly knew how you'd done it but had never thought of doing it myself.
Dude this is insanely cool.
Inspired and Inspiring. Truly beautiful.
This is cool, and cubicmetere also has a wireless version of this that is way more technical and hard to understand, but no need for so many chunkloaders and less delay
Jesus christ, i needed this vid yesterday
that's insane. I remember being impressed by a redstone door back in the day but nowadays people are making teleporters and redstone neural nets and wall-redstone witchcraft. minecraft tech has come a long way.
Wonderful, i'm working on the same concept by a long time. Its really interesting view another proyect of this. The chunk loading line can be improved twice as fast tecnically but im happy to see this haha
How so
I'm moreso impressed by the three massive identical maps in each base
I do love this, but theres limitations (like most EPSC networks). Notably, this is an overworld only design. No end or nether functions, because it uses the nether as its basis for information transfer. Also, its fairly slow. 20 seconds for an ender pearl transport is faster than travelling by elytra in the overworld, but im not sure how itll stack up to a nether piston bolt or ice boat highway. Similarly, a wireless redstone 4 player compatable stasis machine exists already (though with how much it costs to make, would be hard to argue for, as well as being too complicated for most players). Overall: a very neat design! Great creativity, be proud!
I am definitely making this!!
I like the jingle right after the teleportation.
Really cool build and based music choice
This is hidden gem fr, I will save this video
Impressive! Thanks for sharing.
One of the best redstone machine so far
Nice! This whole thing is nice.
Oh my god the spore ost!! aaaa it tickles my nostalgia brain bits
Idk if you’ve gotten this before
But mad respect for bringing out the Spore soundtrack
this is it the future of travelling in Minecraft I never imagined this 10 years ago when playing Minecraft I always see it as mod not vanilla.
Absolutely awesome!
Incroyable, ça me donne envie de relancer une aventure
Good wave Ver Wave. I luv Netherportals
If you think about it this design is stupidly simple. Just a redstone line which loads all chunks in its path so that it is processed by the game and activates a statis chamber at the end. It doesn't use any sort of weird game mechanics. I'm surprised that nobody has built something like this until now.
I would say that building this may even be less time consuming than building an ice road, because the obsidian for the portals is much easier than getting packed/blue ice. Yes, all you need is to go brrr with an Eff V pickaxe at it but at the same time all you need for the obisidian is to give some gold to the piglins. And if you have a villager trading hall (which you should) you also have endless redstone and ender pearls, so this shouldn't be a problem. I still wouldn't build this alone if I need more than ~50 chunkloaders (that means around 6400 blocks in the Overworld) because building chunkloaders is tedious and not autockickable (unlike ice roads). With a few friends on the server however, anything's possible.
I've never seen anything like it, which is why you have earned the like. That said, once I figured out how it actually works with the ender pearl stasis this seems entirely impractical for actual use. But it is interesting in theory. I will probably stick to the good old nether highway.
Ahh true, the pearls in stasis disappear when you log out right?
Very cool I hope to build this in my hardcore world one day!
Now this is cool!
really cool, nice video and idea
That map room is insane
Woaaa thats actually insane
