Actually an accident almost unfolded before my eyes tdy noon after going back to my workplace from Ayer Rajah FC. You see, I was waiting for traffic light at a cross junction and then I saw a service 30 MAN A95 going at a fairly moderate speed intending to cross the junction in a straight direction, and then out of the blue, a grey BMW 5 Series GT actually headed into the bus’s path intending to Turn Right on the junction towards Ayer Rajah FC. And then in a stroke of luck, the A95 slam braked and stop short just only a few inches from slamming against the side of that BMW. Disaster averted but also worried for the passengers onboard. Somemore double-decker bus easy for mass injuries to occur if it really slammed head-on on that BMW’s side. Thus, safety on the road is very very important dude. That close call could have turned out into an ugly accident
Usually they get repaired. Refurbishment after accidents are rare but one of the rare cases where ‘refurbishment?’ happened after an accident was a Hispano Habit that Glitchfan2428 had also uploaded.. (a video)
@@glitchFan2428 Ah. When I saw this, I was a bit shocked as I thought that accident occurred last night. Thankfully, the Citaro must have likely survived this ordeal. For the CDGE, did it make it or get scrapped?
A saw a lot of bus drivers tailgating another bus in front of them going into the bus stop. As in literally so near like the rear and front bumper almost collide. Nothing's new. Hopefully passengers were ok and safe.
That 20 years old B9TL CDAG Double decker bus Must be considered a Write off and Not Economic to repair the Bus. The bus must be Retired and withdrawn completely.
I think not so recent. Based on records SBS 6600 E still non revenue service. SBS 7312 E if I am not mistaken saw it on service alr or maybe I saw the wrong CDGE
I kind of guessed it was Singapore, it had the feel of an Asian country and one that wasn't particularly short of money. Plus, I know that Singapore is one of the countries across that part of the world that actually has double decker buses in service. Police and authorities are doing a good job, just trying to keep pedestrians away from the point of impact. Firstly, get all the passengers away on back-up vehicles to their destinations. Secondly, take stock of the damage and gently move the bus in front forward a few yards in order that staff may clear up debris like broken glass from the roadside and inside the vehicles. Hopefully nobody was seriously hurt or injured in the accident.
Yes it was generally handled well. In terms of double decker buses I would say in Asia it's Singapore and Hong Kong that comes to mind the most. And I believe there were no fatalities in the crash, not that I noticed anyway
All these bus captains who had such accident needs to be punished. Often notice they like to stop very close to the front bus or even other vehicles without considering the safety of others. It's time to teach them a hard lesson.
So the double decker bus crash into the Mercedes Bens Citaro because the single decker stop the bus and then the Volvo B9TL CDGE don't know and then crash?
The green is actually a unified livery for all the bus companies. Gradually, all our buses will become green. The green bus in this video is actually an SBS Transit bus.
It is sad when rare buses are getting into accidents
This is not rare
@@LaxMarch2022 volvo b9tls are getting more rare
@@LaxMarch2022 I mean it is old so it is hard to find
You can find plenty of Volvo B9TLs in England. First Group have a lot Gemini Eclipses.
The CDGE...Is by no means rare but its getting "Rarer" indeed...With over 100 Units still around singapore, crossing the country.
Hope everyone is okay
I hope so too
Yea but they escape from the bus crash i think?🤔🤔🤔
It looks like a small impact I think atleats 3 or 2 people injured both including the driver
