I'm late as hell but Hunter really has one of my favorite voices to hear right now.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on with the guitar/baritone/bass acoustic thing but man does it sound good.
I noticed it too. Maybe they used a very clean type of octave pedal in the DI chain? I don't know... Maybe they even just heavily contoured the sound of a regular acoustic using a whole lot of EQ and other wizardry. Can't really figure it out though... Scary Pockets' basses always sound phenomenal so I blame the sound guy ;P
The result may be "just a nylon guitar down an octave", but getting there is no simple feat.
In the closeup shots at 2:30 it looks to me like he's using thicker strings than normal but I'm not so sure.

Watched this amazing number a day before. Then I looked through Elizabeth's available videos made years before. Must say that patterns of her beautiful mature voice was noticeable even then ("Crazy for you" home recording). Elizabeth, your voice and effortless singing does worth to be recorded to cover world Jazz and Rock-and -blues classics!

How do you get that guitar tone?
