Absolutely fantastic performance! What an amazing voice by Dannielle Deandrea, and so nicely played on guitar by Drew Taubenfeld & Rich Hinman! Such a beautiful cover! Phenomenal production, great work by the whole team! Best Regards! 🎼🃏🎶🎵👍👌👌👌👏👏👏😁💛🙏👋🌠
I just listened to this woman's covers of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy and Michael Jackson's "I want you back" on the ScaryPockets page. How does this woman have such an ability to adapt her voice to exactly what a song needs?
I was literally wondering two days ago what this song would sound like if you guys covered it. Here we are two days later, all my dreams are coming true.
I on the other hand look up covers...this song in particular since the music never matched the melancholy on the lyrics, but it was all about dancing when it came out originally. This is great.
Got some spare time? Go to 2:59 and check out the vibrato on the 'an' in 'anyone, darling'. Hear it? That fleeting, and ever-so subtle vibrato on a note that most singers wouldn't consider? That's why Dannielle could write (or preferably sing) the book on impeccable and subtle vibrato. OK, that one was just to test you. It's pretty damn subtle. If you can hear it, you should be hooked by now. Check out any of her recordings or videos and you'll hear, again and again, that exquisite taste and control over vibrato, not to mention her sheer skill in being able to slip in and out of it in time for the next note or phrase. That's vocal bad-assery, right there.
I have listened to this a half a dozen times and still find it better than the last time I heard it....just sayin' Drew was pained at 1:34 when he missed the clean note...it still sounded great!
Beautiful. I don’t know if anyone noticed, but there is a “naked” but sublime moment between 3:07 and 3:09. (at the end she literally snaps me out of it 😊)
This is such a sweet song and a melancholy one at that, but the original was like a dance song. It didn't fit the vibe of the lyrics. I really appreciate this version. It brings the song together. Like van Morrisons brown eyed girl...sad song of looking back...but radio version was all happy sounding. I suppose that was how record producers and radio stations wanted it back then. Everything was something to dance to. I'm glad to hear this. It finally fits. Thanks
Those two guitarists sure are happy accompanists. What a great voice Dannielle.
Her voice is why they're so happy 😊
The guy on the left looks stoned as fuck! lol
She is genius singer.. Her songs always steals my heart.
I am a full grown man, and I just can't listen to this song and not cry. Outstanding job guys.
The only arrangement of this song that I've enjoyed. Ever. stories can make you like songs you never did before.
Why am I crying???
Is this how serenity sounds like? Love it.
I love every cover she makes. It's never over the top or obnoxious. So simple beautiful
I used to do this tune when I did a solo. I just stumbled onto your cover today. This simplistic, smokey cover STUNNED me.
Great Job!!!
