First. Took my boys up to Hawk Lake Lodge as a part of our first (and second) trip up to sunset country. Ted and staff are excellent. They take great care of you and the food is outstanding. While we have moved on to more toothy critters on bigger water, it's a fantastic spot and you won't regret visiting Hawk Lake. Many thanks to Ted for being our first Canadian lodge experience.
yea it used to be only 500 a day and like... 250 per day for guiding but the owner just jumped the rate a ton... its not worth it at 1k a day if you take guides every day. Guides aren't necessary for the main lake though. The out lakes are worth taking a guide to but you don't need to take any at all to have a ton of fun on the lake. 7 days w/ 1 day of guiding for the main lake is all you need to catch a ton of fish. I've been 4 times, but not going anymore. Alaska is wayyyy better value imo.
Love you guys following you for over 40yrs. You deliver the best. Keep em coming. God bless.
Looks like an incredible place to go!! Thanks for sharing!!!

A 7 day fishing trip here with guide is $10,000. This is fishing for the 1%
That's insane

How does some lodge owner think he has the authority to put regulations on a body of water…
