Love the intro. Good to see a RUclipsr showing checking ice on their way out. Nice reminder of the bays dangers. The incident here over the weekend made me realize how complacent I've been this season.
I know exactly where you were fishing and the ice broke off and blew out a day or two before you went out there. While working I talked to an angler who was going to (what I thought) bring his snowmobile and I made sure he was aware of the danger because of the ice forming again overnight due to cold temps. Thankfully he chose to take the advice I had given and he went to another area. Anyway, I love your videos and tips, stay safe out there!
You often mention what great table fair the fish are that you're catching. How about a couple of clean and cook videos? Thanks, and keep the great content coming!
Grant, if you're going to load up the Eskimo flip over, we need to hook you up with a smitty sled! You could have literally pulled that load out with 2 fingers instead of having a grabber on the ice. My motto is "Smarter not harder"....
My friends were out there, and the ice was very sketchy.. they were in Washburn, and you guys are just north of washburn... they got on to some good bites...

Love your stuff, but not having a flasher/sonar cam really makes the viewing experience less entertaining. Anticipating the bite is more exciting than watching people reel in fish
I don't understand why this channel doesn't receive more subscribers I think you put in a lot of work and a great video every time thank you
Thank you so much for the kind words! We appreciate it!
It’s refreshing to watch a video where they’re not just staring at livesope the whole time. Awesome video
We're glad you enjoyed it! It's all about the adventure.

Forsure - we will do more, appreciate the feedback! For now, check out our sister channel "Field and Flame" where its more about the cooking.
Great stuff! One note would be to always use your wrist strap on your spud chisel. You’ll lose it thru a thin spot one day. Ask me how I know.

Not where we were, no. You need a Wisconsin license.
Is this recent? With all the cold snap, I would think there's more ice than that?

Not a criticisms, will that brown have barotrauma?
Trout don’t experience barotrauma - they have the ability to ‘burp’ their air bladder.
@ lake trout I knew about I did not know if other trout could.
Busker bear claw!
