I love it… I am retiring in a couple years and trying to move out of California. I want more quiet and conservative place.
I prefer to see the inside of the buildings, just to see if any major work needs to be done. I do not want a fixer upper. Been there , done that , twice. Land looks great, though.
I like nature in the countryside, calm and quiet, good for working and relaxing. There are wide fields. Suitable for families...🌲🌳🌄🌏🌈👍😊

I'm a foreigner and I'd really like to leave Massachusetts, but I've always looked at Kentucky with passionate eyes, it seems like paradise, but I'm afraid because of the incidence of tornadoes, in my home country there are no tornadoes, and here in America it's very scary , my wife and daughters are scared to death.
When I was a child, there was a picture on the living room wall of my grandfather's house, in that picture there was a drawing of a red stable, a big tree beside it, two smiling old men, one black and one white, near a horse in a cart, and a child I don't know why I identified with, the image is still clear in my memory, above the stable door there was an image of a trotting horse and I don't know why but I always thought that image was reproduced from a Kentucky landscape .
They are rare here, and usually in the far western part of the state.

Beautiful, when do we get the details? I may need a place sooner than soon. It's time to come back home. I'm a country girl & want plenty of land for a homestead, a storm cellar/basement but NOT a gigantic home. I'm wanting to downsize as well. Just my senior mother & me so maybe 2 tiny homes/cabins with a huge barndominium for a multi-purpose workshop... 😉
