The doors are a fire rated door. When there is a fire, the roller shutter will roll down (The strip line at the ceiling) and will close the are that fire occurred in the specific area and door is to escape from it.
Terengganu is underrated. Theres many things you can do in Kuala Terengganu (KT in short) itself, although it may be off the beaten track. - you’re staying near KT Chinatown, one of the earliest Chinese settlements in South East Asia..you can visit this part of the city where you can see different and unique architecture of the old shophouses. Look for the cute alleys that maze around the Chinatown for street arts. At night, behind the chinatown is a night market called Pulau Warisan night market for local street food - Muzium Negeri (State Museum) - one of largest museum in Malaysia showcasing different galleries. Within its vast compound also located Terengganu Cultural Village where you can experience local customs and traditions, set within old palaces and traditional houses as well as traditional boats - Terengganu is known its traditional boat-making tradition, you can visit Pulau Duyong where traditional boat-makers still use century-old methods to build boats without any plans. Also on Pulau Duyong you can visit Kota Duyong, an ancient monument with beautiful architecture - Crystal Mosque..unique mosque made of crystal - Pasar Payang, the main market of Kuala Terengganu known for its local delicacies, crafts, textiles and many more - Next to Pasar Payang by the river, you can take the River Cruise which will take you alobg the river with mesmerizing views of the city and the villages along the river Local food to look for: - Nasi Dagang - special rice with skipjack tuna curry normally eaten during breakast - keropok lekor - fish sausage, can either be eaten boiled or fried - Ikan Celup Tepung - deep fried seafood (fish, prawns, squid) dipped with special sweet sauce - satar - fish paste wrapped in banana leaf and grilled over charcoal fire Enjoy! 🎉

At Warung nangka Bandung mee is the best in Terengganu, fried mee is also available, many other menus. That shop is indeed a legend, it has been there since I was little because my mother worked at Basteen a few years ago. so until now it's still there 😊
So happy to be able to eat in such a wonderful place. We loved the food there 😍 Thank you for sharing your experience. It made us very happy to learn more about the place too.
On aurait pris notre temps pour prendre le bus de midi 😂😂 Have a good day ❤
Most foreign tourists dont stay in Kuala Terengganu but stay at its islands such as Redang, Kapas and Perhentian. These three islands are filled with western and eastern tourists alike, especially during winter in Europe.

Yup, we want to give us a chance to explore more Terengganu than just using it as a stop for an island :) Redang island is maybe more famous but both looks just amazing. Islands paradise!
@@DanandLyn having said that it’s monsoon season now and the island is closed until February 23. My friend operating a resort there in Perhentian has already came back to the main land and will only go back in February

Terengganu has the most beautiful islands in the peninsula. Crystal clears waters, corals, fishes. Something like Thailand's koh Tao, koh Chang
terengganu, my fav state in peninsular malaysia
Beautiful 🇲🇾

Since you are at Kuala Terengganu you can take ferry to Pulau Redang, but its also monsoon season now, so not sure if the island is open
Thanks for the recommendation, we have to see with the wallet too👍
during fire, a fire trap wall will be released from above and people can exit through the door
That's genius!! Thanks we wouldn't know by our own. Never see that before 😱

Yes simple and super clean 👍
Those large spaces at the mall with stand alone exit doors... the lots are for rent. You build the walls yourself..i'm guessing.
