We all know how we had hoped this had gone.

And I want to be a space fly to see it all 😂😂😂
T'Pol applying too much could result in paralysis. Don't piss off a Vulcan.
Even without the pressure points T'pol could casually crunch her spine
"... and he has very nice arms."
**crunch**
"I apologize."
For a Vulkan, that was as good as throwing a full on tantrum.
I think this was after her Trellium-D addiction, so she's a bit emotional.
You can deny it, T’Pol, but your emotions are sneaking closer to the surface than you realize. After all, I’m pretty sure an intentional jab like that is a sign of the emotion known as jealousy.
Well, their blood IS green!!

When Amanda said Trip had told her about his sister Elizabeth, you could see T'pol's eyes look down as if in disappointment. The many tiny nuances by Jolene is what made T'pol such a wonderful character. Amanda was lucky she could still walk when they were done. A jealous Vulcan is a dangerous thing.
**What a scene: T'Pol/A delicate Fairy Princess, and Amanda Cole/a muscled Warrior princess. Both beautiful just different.
Watch her eyes. They mostly appear dead and emotionless with occasional flashes of emotion. She captured T'Pol PERFECTLY!
Sometimes i do question why they cast her and Jeri Ryan for their perspective parts.
Both seem top notch actors and that would make it obvious why they were chosen but then i hear backstage stories about Ryan's/Sirtis' constrictive jumpsuits and see scenes like this, and the "decomtemination gell" scenes and a'll i'm thinking is, _"they cast them because they're hot."_

T'Pol should've performed some advanced research into human behavior.
How did T'Pol not accidentally make her pass out from an unintended Vulcan neck pinch? 😅
She didn't pinch her hard enough. Apparently, she changed her mind. At this point, I doubt if T'Pol needed to give Archer and Trip any more excuses to show her the airlock, especially since she was addicted to Trellium at this time. Archer already knew about her Pa'nar Syndrome so why make things worse?

Vulcans have very deep emotions. Much deeper than humans. The teachings of Surak helped them learn to suppress these emotions to avoid exterminating each other in wars and jealousies, etc.

Half of Vulcan "logic" is more or less just religious doctrine and not logic.
@@ImAmirus After 2000 years?
No, Vulcans problems are the same as Jedis, they deny emotional outburst from young childhood and thus never learn how to cope with their emotions, only supress them.
So whenever one of them eventually crack, they are a trainwreck. We see that in Tuvok in Voyager, in that Vulcan who hated Sisko in DS9 etc.
The only Vulcan that can handle his emotions is Spock. And he only could do that due to him spending decades with humans and being half human himself. Kirk, McCoy and Scotty trained him over the years to be able to use some of his emotions.
@@ImAmirus T’Pol’s Grandmother was briefly marooned on Earth, (Enterprise: Carbon Creek). It is theoretically possible that what she learned living and loving in Carbon Creek, may have passed on through her genes to her granddaughter T’Pol.

If seasons 5, 6, and 7 had happened it was to be revealed that Amanda was in fact a half sister of T'Pol. Sounds crazy but the writers had intended to reveal this as T'Pol's father was a Romulan and undercover operative from Romulus. T’Pol and her mother T’Les were never aware of this. T'Pol never understood why she had so much difficulty controlling her emotions prior to her posting on Enterprise and that was why. T’Pol thought he was dead but in fact he had just disappeared when she was a child when in fact he had returned to Romulus.
The writers were very careful to never say directly that T’Pols father died throughout the series and that was intentional. They had planned on exploring this further in upcoming seasons. Turns out he had many agents (several that were his children, with the locals on various planets, including Earth. Amanda was one of them. By season 3 he had become aware of T'Pol's relationship with Trip and wished to test the developing bond between Trip and T’Pol and assess Trip's character, etc. Amanda was instructed to try and seduce Trip which we saw in season three when she asked Trip to perform neuropressure on her. Little did fans know where the writers intended to go with that in upcoming seasons.
The sphere builders were just one faction from the future trying to influence history with the help of the Xindi. The Suliban were actually taking orders from Romulans in the future who were attempting to destroy Earth and prevent the Federation from forming. Daniels and Silik eluded to Archer in season 1 about multiple factions trying to “alter history” but it was never fully explained or flushed out by Berman and Braga prior to season 3 and was left hanging.
No joke, Manny Coto was in the process of writing episode scripts to tie up all of those loose ends from early in the series in an effort to clean up the chaotic mess of story arcs that his predecessors Berman and Braga carelessly created in seasons 1, 2, and part of 3.
Coto submitted these episode script outlines for season 5 to CBS executives to try and save the series from cancellation but to no avail. Berman and Braga didn’t help matters either by totally bailing on their protégé (Manny Coto) who they were intensely jealous of by season 4 having taken over completely from them at that point. You can see their animosity towards Coto in the DVD interviews in seasons 3 & 4.
It’s really too bad that seasons 5, 6, and 7 didn't happen. They were about to get into the Earth romulan war, the Vulcan Romulan schism, as well as deep dive into the relationship and bond between T'Pol & Trip (who wouldn't have died) as well as their daughter (baby Elizabeth) who would have survived as well. Probably would have been the best Trek to air since the 60s original series. CBS and Les Moonves were just idiots and were so narrow minded. They hated everything Star Trek and were obsessed with reality TV by that point as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer which was a cheesy series at best. It’s really a shame they cancelled ENT.
Thats up there with the "drug addict" crew members in Ellison's original "City On The Forever" draft.
Trip didn't die as shown in that long delayed, throw back TNG episode after "Terra Prime.". That was just showcasing Riker's malfunctioning holodeck program, like so many others that went haywire on the Enterprise D.
Regardless, that TNG episode would never have existed if "Enterprise " wasn't canceled so abruptly.
Damn, that sound so interesting. I would love to watch that. That sounds like everything i wished for. Now I'm sad.
I've heard a lot of things about t'pol being half romulan but never that amanda was intended to be her sister
@@GoGreen1977 correct. Manny Coto vehemently opposed the episode but was overrided by the show’s original creators (Berman and Braga) who wanted credit for the finale and a goodbye of sorts for the whole Star Trek genre. They believed ENT would be the last Trek TV series ever. Berman retired in 2005/ 2006 and the TATV episode was his “valentine” as he put it when in fact it was a disaster and a throwback to his glory days in TNG. His ego was so massive that he couldn’t even stick to the current ENT cast and brought in TNG characters that he liked which even they admitted was disrespectful. Jonathan Frakes (Riker) echoed these sentiments saying it disrespected the ENT cast and that TATV was a horrible story.
Regardless, they foolishly aired the episode which was in fact a resurrected AU episode (Berman and Braga were obsessed with AU episodes throughout TNG, DS9, Voyager, and ENT which bored fans to death except when Manny Coto did them ie. Mirror Darkly episodes), a scrapped AU story from late in season 3 during the xindi arc.
If you are an ENT fan write off TATV as non canon because it really is. It was an inaccurate holodeck re-creation by Riker based off incomplete records of the final voyages of the NX-01 and the events leading up to the formation of the Federation. Trip Tucker did not really die nor did baby Elizabeth. Trip and T’Pol’s relationship didn’t end there either. Manny Coto has stated multiple times that if a season 5 had taken place none of what transpired in TATV would have aired and the Demons episode would have been written quite differently.
That said TATV broke the long standing tradition of Star Trek of ending on a high note. It effectively squashed the Trip and T’Pol relationship which the writers spent almost 2-1/2 seasons building and it was completely pointless and made ZERO sense. Jolene Blalock (T’Pol) was so distraught by the episode that she cried backstage for almost 45 minutes which upset the normally cool and collected Scott Bakula (Archer) so much so that he confronted Berman and Braga on-set and laid into them yelling at them at how badly the episode was written and was being filmed.
Not at all a bright spot for Berman and Braga despite their reputations and massive egos. The episode was so badly received by fans that even after the cancellation they were called into network studios by CBS executives to answer questions and explain the episodes’s horrible reception. B&B admitted years later that they would have written a completely different finale if they could do it again and spent years apologizing to fans particularly at Trek conventions, it was that bad.
The thing that was even dumber about airing that episode is that it effectively made it impossible to do a movie (not that it was likely to happen) as they implied the Enterprise was being decommissioned and killed off a key character in Trip Tucker who had become a central figure of the show by season 4 alongside T’Pol, pushing aside Archer who was the central character the first two seasons in many respects. Doing so left a gaping hole for any future projects. They would have had to have figured out a way to retcon back in Trip Tucker which would have wasted enormous screen time.
For some reason Braga and Berman became obsessed with killing off a major character and even eluded to this in the DVD set interviews. Why? No idea other than they thought they were doing something most tv show producers and writers never got to do (another sign of their massive egos). In fact by season 3 they were obsessed with doing this and tried twice to kill off Archer but CBS shot them down both times.
Manny Coto who had taken over completely by season 4 was quite vocal in his protests about “These are the Voyages.” He hated the episode and never wanted it aired.
It’s unfortunate the series ended in season 4 as Trek fans were robbed of what would have been the best Trek material aired (in the upcoming 2-3 seasons) in a long LONG time. Star Trek fans have been literally begging producers to delve into the Earth Romulan conflict for decades. It’s really a travesty.
Les Moonves (former CBS executive) was a complete idiot. He hated everything Star Trek and just wanted the series cancelled at all costs.
Coto BEGGED the CBS executives to let him do a season 5 and even wrote complete episode outlines for the entire season in advance of the finale before cancellation was announced in an effort to avoid cancellation. This is unheard of for TV series writers. In an interview years later he admitted that he and the cast were actually cautiously optimistic a season 5 would be green-lite based on feed back from the studio to his script outlines. However, apparently at the last second Les Moonves intervened and put his foot down overriding the other executives and said NO absolutely NOT! That was the end of ENT and the decision was final after the “Bound” episode. You can see it in the cast especially in the following episodes. They looked dismayed and their hearts just weren’t in it anymore.
