It’s surprising how much work go’s into a car for banger racing
Actually quite surprised how much prep is involved in banger racing.👌
i like the bit about all parts are carefully removed to keep other jags on the road 😂😂😂 meanwhile in the background the stripping team can be seen ripping the steering column and dash board out without a care in the world and to add insult to injury somebody hurls a piece of metal through the rear windscreen yep obviously a lot of care taken there 🤣🤣🤣
yeah, that "parts were stripped to keep other jags on road" sounds like bullshit and before they actually started to strip this car there were dents and scars already all over body... yet the car was like new on the trailer.
I’d say it’s a good thing there not keeping that rubbish on the road tbh
All I see was cake I would help build a banger for cake 😂
Screens should cheese wire them out like Screen guys do as spend yonks clearing up/finding bits of glass for ages plus decent glass for them sells!
Jag owners clubs always looking for bits.
Exactly!
Awesome, thanks for sharing 👍
Banger car, right proper video mate
Brilliant 👍👍👍
Hey man, if I could find a good rear wind screen that would really help me keep my Jaguar on the road! What??? You had one but you smashed it? Sod off!!!
"The end of it's road going life"
If i would have this Jag, i turned this car back to fresh in matter of 4 to 6 weeks, if i worked 8 hours a day on it.
great Video thanks for sharing looking forward to see the next one
Could of sold more of it .
I recon anyway.
Looks like fun though
I hated bonded screens when I raced..... much preferred the older Tina's Granny's Capri's easy to strip ,easy to build ect ect
Why did you change the engine? Was it broken or is it a performance thing?
Take it apart, and give it some extra horsepower.
So they put it back in.
can i ask how much you pay for it
Gutting.
Total disrespect for a true British classic! Should have been a bmw!
There is a reason why they use Jaguars in Banger Races.
The body of a Jaguar can take much more punishment.
Especially the Jaguar's nose section is very strong.
@@opoxious1592 jaguar,s are a good solid car. Back in the day the engines outlived the bodies. Nowadays the older x300 and 308s are going to become in to classic status in a few years time. So if you get a good one hang on to it I reckon.
well, that was a complete waste of time!!!
You ever raced to be able to say it’s a waste of time ?
Waste of a beautiful jag should be cared and loved for. Should be restored not butchered such a shame in the not to distant future they will be kicking themselves when there worth silly money which is guaranteed
That XJ6 is rotten mate, Beyond economic repair, It's a 3.2 and never going to be worth much money, Better that it gets used as a banger racer for some fun and not just weighed in and crushed!
His money, his choice!
@@scotty6346 you say never gonna be worth much money. What about the 1960s mk 2 two point four jags. They said the same about them. Now their worth proper good money!
@@jamescourt4703 The point i am making mate is that a rotten X300 XJ6 is not worth saving, Pampered, Excellent condition one's are! I own a 1964 3.8 MK2 and a late 1973 Series 1 XJ6, Both of these cars are and were well cared for hence them being worth £££ now, Cheers.
@@scotty6346 fair play 2u bud. Your a jag man. Im a jag man and have been for many years. I think I get a bit passionate for these old motors!
It is lame to destroy a good car
WHAT? 1996 ON A 59 PLATE ?
N reg, N159…
90's car. Not a classic IMHO.
