That engine in Poland land in almost each patrol. It is different ball game after you have in patrol m57. Less consumption, more power. And it not blow up lol
what a nice rig with m57! and the ggod thing is that the swap is quite straightforward compared to many other cars. You must put a giant turbo, nice remap, an intercooler and you easily get 275 bhp, 550 nm... In Portugal that is an engine that is used a lot for swap into 4x4 vehicles
It’s a very clean tidy swap for sure... certainly want to chase more power one day but the current trans isn’t up to much more

Hey Tim and Matt. How do you find out where these tracks are? Is it just from road tripping or do you google them?
Great video just wondering a few things is it the LR auto or the bmw one and how is that for off road rather than a manual. Do you know what sump is used as there isn't much Info for p38 it's all defender. I know prev you said you'll do a Run down when things are all done. Could you do a small p38 to m57 rubdown on your configuration.

Hello from the UK, great video pal, i know on a different video you mentioned it's got a p38 4.6 gearbox what transfer box does it have init pal and what springs and shocks does it have onit and also does it still have factory becm under drivers seat I'd love too hear a full breakdown on all its running gear, thanks pal keep up the good work
Hey mate, it’s got the factory transfer case, and terrafirma 2” lift kit. And yes the becm is still there, it’s been reprogrammed with a bunch of things removed so it operates seperate to the motor. Will do a full breakdown once the mods are done. Got lots of plans and not enough time!

Hey theres a large rock that has slipped onto the track making it impassable unless you drive a quad or on a bike, its about 50 meters from the gate at 7:43. 3/09/22

Very good! Touring I got almost 1000kms out of a tank, around town etc. more like 600kms

Sad to see a silly boy abusing the lovely old P38 in this way, tons of gas pedal, where finesse has been ignored, what the driver needs is a few years on a trials motorcycle, with less than twenty horse power, preferably a single cylinder 350 cc or something from the 1950's English Matchless / AJS/ BSA/ Ariel etc; and then put the boy back in the P38 and watch the difference. It's not nice seeing good machinery like the P38 being abused by boys with nothing but testosterone for brains.

the p38's stock diesel just for junkyard. Boys breathed life in scrap metall and can do anything ))
