This made targeting SOOOO much easier! Thanks! Also found it helps to delete old marks when running multiple sorties on same session on the same server.
You know, I was wondering why you never mentioned the "kneeboard" facility. It's also very useful when flying old planes that have very crude navigational systems. Pete.
Great content, just subscribed! Correct me if I'm wrong, I think you should call the second waypoint (target) M1 instead of M2. The "M" stands for "mål" which translates to "target" and the "B" for "brytpunkt" which translates to "turning point".
Question, I am new to DCS were do I find the setup for keyboard and hotas. You got great 👍 training videos. What best aircraft to start learning setup for my throttle and joysticks.
In the cockpit press "ESC" and then click on "Control Options" and make sure you have the correct aircraft selected in the top right corner of the control setup window. Click "Axis Assign" for setting up joystick axis.
For anyone finding this video and still wondering QFE, the kneeboard also shows QFE values for waypoints on the kneeboard once you've selected and loaded your Data cartridge.
So, I've been having a problem with the Viggen. When I use F10 maps, the data cartridge and everything works just fine. But when I start navigating waypoints, maybe about 10 or 15 min into flight, I notice that the waypoints are way way off. What could I be doing wrong?
@@grimreapers I made that change and that seemed to help. I turn it to NAV only when I line up on active runway. Someone else also told me a good practice is to 1) stay on NAV until close to target/have weapons solution (this is important it seems for deep strike missions near 200km round trip) and 2) apparently using the radar every now and then fixes INS drift if I understood them correctly; that is to say, I know that using the radar every now and then resolves my problem. Does the second one here sound familiar?
I just bought the Viggen.
Thank you so much.
As usual, your tutorials are clear and informative.

Holy shit that makes thing so much easier/faster. Fuck I love the viggen
Wish we could do that with other planes
The "Jeff" can do it^^
Tomcat can do :)

Brilliant Cap, thanks! From the guy on Twitter 😀
lol cool
Hey OD, EAF331_Archangel (MIA) here, how's the squad's doing are you guys still flying ?
Great vid, CAP! Straight to the issue
Wow this is great to find out about, at least I'm not wasting 10 minutes on the deck with LOLA inputs any-more whilst in MP.
this is F-ing brilliant!!!
Thx for sharing!

Cap has done videos on setting up controls for most modules. They are in here

Doing as we speak and making more vids on this.
The Su-25T doesn't have that data cartridge thing, can you still create waypoints from F10?
neg
It is nice to have this option, but as we need QFE for most of the viggens attacks... isnt it quite useless at the same time?
Disregard, I have found the videos for calculating QFE.
lol roger
For RB15s you don't even need QFE anyways :)
For anyone finding this video and still wondering QFE, the kneeboard also shows QFE values for waypoints on the kneeboard once you've selected and loaded your Data cartridge.
Does this work for the Apache??
Is it possible with f15?

Sounds like corrupted INS. Are you remembering to BER while on the ground?

@@ek4676 you need to fix your nav system with radar updates every now and then because the system gets drifted
As a new player, I have no idea what you just did. This game I swear……..
Can you add WP the same way on the Su25t - I added the WP but no idea how to load them so I can use them ?
neg only add WP in mission editor for that plane.
@@grimreapers many thanks for the reply saved wasting another 2 hours trying to find buttons :) great Tutorials BTW !
Not working. Says not close enough to ground crew and I'm at guadarta
It says that but it will work anyway.
Geez you’re talking fast! 😅
