One thing I want to add at 8:25. if you did the counter attack on Wyvern in that situation it would have done enough damage to trigger the cutscene that deals the finishing blow, combine that with the fact that you don't lose rings during cutscenes and doing the counter attack (Y+B) would have saved you 50 rings if not more.
Another good tip for dmg and cyloop meter gain is cross slash spam. Once it starts, let a few slashes hit then activate cross slash again. It does more damage than stomp

Wow! This video really saved me. A couple of days ago I struggled for hours and quit. Yesterday I watched this video and did better but still failed. And then, this morning I cane back with a vengeance and beat Wyvern with 178 rings and beat Knight with either exactly 100 or 99 first try! Thanks for the tips!

W video, but there are some other technics to consider. You don't have to ride on Knight's shield at all. Just sidestep around the shield after attacking it once, and wail on him while you can. saving a significant amount of time. I'm pretty sure that Wyvern will automatically break free of the chains in phase 2 which I believe wastes a lot of time. Although I still haven't determined if it's RNG or if it's scripted or not so I not as sure about that one.
Wyvern automatically breaking out is Scripted. you basically have to Cyloop Wyvern Twice in Phase 2 for it to work. it is not worth it.
Thank you! Finally a guide that doesn't just say "easy" and leave it at that. I went from being only able to get to the beginning of Wyvern to being able to beat the whole thing. It took me... let's see, a few tries when it first came out, a few tries yesterday, and since like 5:30 PM today.

Btw if you parry and a counter attack window pops up, punch stomp some then trigger the counter attack cutscene at the last min and it'll do huge damage. Also found out you can sidestep and punch the knight titan when he has his shield up and skip the shield throw phase, saving you time and rings. You also can spam the parry button like on Giganto and avoid the shield throw cutscene on the Knight titan if he does trigger it on you. Also you CAN cyloop the knight when his shield is up and skip the shield throw phase and damage him to second phase immediately

This guide helped me beat it on normal! The Wyvern timing was ridiculous on hard, and easy (especially with the patch) felt too cheap and free. The fight still was very hard and took me hours. I almost gave up and switched to easy because the Wyvern was kicking my ass, but seeing you do it (and the p***y joke) gave me the push I needed to give it another go.

So 10:50 you don't have to do the sheild mini game. If you hit the sheild 1 or 2 times then immediately press dodge you will get behind it and can Cyloop his face

hey guys here's a tip:
while punching knight's shield, you can dodge and pretty much skip the whole shield riding section and you'll be able to punch it.

Awesome, thx! Glad to see i'm not the only one who thinks Wyvern is crazy hard and time-consuming. He'll, like, hover in the air and stare at you for a few seconds, and they won't even let you hit him during that time! I always thought that was dumb, but now it's an absolute pain.

This shit really helped with the Giganto boss. I left with 363 rings. But before I move on to Wyvern, I want to watch your explanation on how to perfectly parry its claw and tail attacks to memorize the pattern. After that’s done, it’s go time.

@@AlchemistKirito I pulled it off at last! And I beat the Knight using the strat you shared about skipping the shield cutscene! It took me a while to finish it off in the second half with the shield (mainly aiming it where the Knight was about to be), but it is done. From what I see in this video and other sources, Master King's trial is an ultimate DPS trial.
Sonic has to beat -four- three titans in 6 min 40 s as rings are consumed per second.
Genshin Impact players like me know this all too well, especially Spiral Abyss' 12th floor.
If you do manage to get the button mashing session, spin the left analog stick and it should be much faster. It works on PS4 I dont lnow about anything else.

🤣🤣🤣 funniest comment I read. You can draw a small circle near him I think and the AOE should still hit him and lift him
Some tios to save time 1. You dont have to circle around giganto just draw a circe under his chin 2. You can cyloop wyvern 2 times to chain his neck that deals way more damage. 3. At knight you can skip the sheild riding part. When he puts up his shieeld attack once then doge right and this 😅will target his face if you do it in quick succsession 😂
Also if you get hit by those big read beams you gotta mash the bottom just rotate your analog stick all the way around

Could also change the difficulty to easy for a longer parry and there's no extra reward for beating it at a higher difficulty so you're not missing out on anything if you play on a lower difficulty

Tip for Sonic team: HOLY CRAP LOWER THE DIFFICULTY
Wyvern is easily the deal breaker in this challenge. I pretty much just spam the party button because depending on the angle, you can’t see the missles coming at you. Wyvern is also tricky because he swipes at you twice, and once more in the middle of your attack window.
Pretty much if you fuck up fighting Wyvern, you won’t win the next round.
Facts, he waste the most rings on your run so I hope giganto quick kill gives you more time on wyvern
@@AlchemistKirito I gotta get better at the cyloop. I didn’t even know Super Sonic could use it. I pulled it off twice, it’s usually that last hit on giganto that contributes to me failing sometimes since that homing attack at end doesn’t work sometimes.
@@Bornagainvillain I feel ya on that one. You can always use the quick cyloop bar if its too difficult to do. It'll add some time to your run but it shouldn't ruin your full run
@@AlchemistKiritohey bro, I had to come back here and let you know that your strategy helped me clear that shit. Stuck on that boy for days, and made it to Knight with 232 rings because at last I did Wyvern perfectly. I barely made that joint though with 9 rings left.

About where should I be parrying Wyvern when it spins after parrying the two attacks in a row? I am able to parry Wyvern's 2 in a row, but I don't know when to parry that third attack.
Are you referring to after you did damage to him?

On the second body spin, you have to parry towards the end of the tail whip. Not at the very end, but before it. There's a delay to this parry window. You think you would parry when the middle of the tail lines up with sonic but actually you parry like 1 second after the middle of the tail aligned with sonic body. The visual cue is you'll parry when you see the middle of wyvern's red whisker on wyvern body. Like I said, hard to explain over comments 😅 if only I was able to show a picture in comments lol. Turn the video speed down to 0.25 at like 8:19 timestamp

Thank you with these strats I was able to reach knight with over 200 hundred rings(still nearly died though so I guess I'm just that bad)
I'd recommend other people who are bad at perfect perrying wyvern to just spam perry worked for me and once I had the rhythm I was able to go from the first perry to the second 2/3 times(maybe even more consistent) so it turns out you might be better off spaming perry as I was even starting to understand when I was or wasn't on rhythm for getting the perry

Hey so I saw somebody talking about this and haven't tested it yet but apparently you can get through the button mashing sections much quicker and easier by rotating your left stick instead of pushing buttons.
*Trust me, it works. For extra speed, mash the button as well.*

Thank you for this. Was actually able to get the the Knight Titan with more than 50 rings, getting there with 250 or more but he keeps one shoting me when he slams his hand down for me to grind up it. I’ll get there.

to skip the shield surf section of Knight you click the sidestep button after attacking to bypass the shield

U can use the joystick for quick time events
When you fight wyvern push R1 if you’re far away from wyvern and you did the Cyclops That’s You cancel the glitch on ps4
You can avoid the Knights shield attack. You have to punch and then slide and than you can sort with pins

This trail is easy man but I lost 30 rings while climbing Knight he had 2 hp left one stomp and he was GONE but I accidentally got hit and I only had 4 seconds so now I just gotta start again this time imma just spam perfect parry at the start

How does the game calculate when the Wyvern boss battle starts?
The reason I ask this is because I'm wondering if it's better to spin dash to get there faster or to just take it slow. If it's calculated by distance then boost would win but if it's set on a timer then you could just chill out while waiting for the fight
I believe its distance but either way you still can take it slow since your rings don't deplete until super sonic so as long as you're not getting hit before then, you can take your time if you want

When I try to cyloop the enemies sonic flies all over the place and it just wastes more of the time :/
If you can't draw the cyloop, just stick to the quick cyloop sonic can do after attacking once. Just make sure your cyloop bar is full so you can use it.
Bro no matter how many tries i ALWAYS lose to wyvern, i'm going at it for like 3 days and still no results, might as well just give up at this point......
Don't give up bro, you got this 💪🏾. Try taking it slow and purely pay attention to wyvern attack patterns, don't even try to beat him. Once you learn his patterns, then focus on trying to beat the full trial
How did you get Wyvern Chained up in the fight? I'm trying to find that move
Its triangle on PlayStation after you home attack. Cyloop bar gotta be filled up tho in the bottom right. It's the quick cyloop attack tho on whatever console you're on

I have know idea why, but this update made the bosses feel so buggy. Way buggier than it felt after the game first released.
That’s cause the game wants perfect parry’s yet the bosses were never made with that in mind so yea that probably why it feels buggy

@@AlchemistKiritoIt's hell, you miss a parry, you literaly die, and parry in extreme is almost impossible, to be honest i think no one on team tested the king coco chalenge on extreme, im still trying and no sucess, curse you parry, they tell you to just hold the button to parry and wait for the atack, and out of nowhere the say to parry perfectly, when they didn't even teach you how to master it, or the bosses weren't even design to have that kind o parry.
It's rough.

I think with wyvern using sonic boom does a lot of damage when cylooped I haven’t tried it tho
