Only the chosen go to Heaven, the rest of us live on Earth forever, Adam while perfect was created to live on Earth, he never saw Heaven. Recite the Lords prayer - on Earth as in Heaven - why? If your pastor tells you Heaven is our home then they are misinformed. John 14.: 1-3 here Jesus is speaking only to his apostles.

Amazing explanation Brandon. We are still sinners, but saved my the grace of God. I'm still a work in progress in my Father's hands. Your explanation of these Bible verses are amazingly the truth. I don't believe when people say, they went to heaven and back. The reason being is , our God is a God who gives 2nd chances in our lives. But not the visit to Heaven and hell. In the story of Lazarus and the rich man, Jesus best described why people cannot come back. The world makes people believe all these stories. But the truth is we have to trust what God says in His word.

I appreciate the encouragement to “get right” with the Lord. As a human I’m in process, hoping His mercy & grace are much greater than mine for me. For most of ten years this walk (or crawl) has been extremely lonely. Yes, there are things He’s working out in me and I’m struggling with various things. To add to that, there is the opposition who desire me to not fulfill God’s plan for my life. I keep going, trying to work out those things He has shown me to do in the here and now. I admit I need to see and feel His spear wound and His pierced hands, or some experience of Him to remove the overwhelming loneliness which is so burdensome.
My recent studies have shown me that heaven is not he promise, yet that is all everyone talks about. What is promised is restoration and the uniting of heaven and earth a new heaven and earth. When I learned that a few years ago It excited me! That is waaaay cooler. A Physical heavenly world that is perfect and where God lives WITH his people. I'm so excited about this!

Brandon, you have a wonderful gift for teaching and drawing out nuances, yet keep searching inside yourself, like I have been doing, for the whole “truth”. Yeshua’s own words. No one has ascended to heaven except him that descended from heaven. The thief was told, “ verily I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise”. No equating paradise with heaven. The beggar Lazarus at the rich man’s gate being taken (his spirit) by angels to Abraham’s bosom, a place, not heaven. Never has God said you will be in heaven, that’s his “spiritual realm”. You can enter the kingdom of God which is here on earth (even eternally/imperishably but on earth ). He creates a new heaven,a new earth, the new Jerusalem coming down from God “ out of heaven to man”, not man ascending to heaven. The tabernacle of God is with men and he, that is Yeshua ( the God/man essence of God) will dwell with them (new earth) being their God and they his people. An aside,A little something to reflect. In my father’s house are many abodes. And if( key word) I go and prepare a place(like the new Jerusalem), I will come again (2nd coming?) and receive you unto myself ( look at revelation, God himself shall be with them and be their God) so that where I am you may be- like in the new Jerusalem in the new creation, here on a new earth. Just thoughts that hopefully have come from the Holy Spirit.
The Jehovah's Witness would love hearing you talk about bringing heaven to earth. They believe that most of us will live forever on paradise earth, rather than heaven. I don't think you meant it that way, and I certainly don't believe in a paradise earth, but that did cross my mind when you mentioned bringing heaven to earth. This Presbyterian enjoyed your video.

(Jesus' words) Psalm 37:9-11 & 29 'For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. 10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.' 'The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.' In the Lord's prayer Christians make the petition for God's kingdom to come and rule over the earth, bringing God's will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven. It's very easy to understand - the more you practise reading plain English, the easier it gets. Also, there are many online bible translations on Biblehub and Biblegateway if you don't have a bible.
The gospel is the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Thank you Sir for sharing your realisations and the words of John and Mark. I feel that we should go deeper into the original teachings of the Bible and try and truly understand what is expected of us by God. For instance, one of the instructions of the Lord is "Thou shalt not kill". So why are we killing the innocent animals (although directly killed in slaughter houses) for the pleasure of our impure senses of the tongue. We are all Gods children including those animals who are made of flesh and blood. We are all beings, human and animal beings. We should practice compassion not only for our fellow human beings but also the animal beings. The innocent animals also have feelings. If you can love your dog, why not the innocent lamb, sheep, cows, etc. Let's try and purify our senses by not eating their flesh and aim for the higher taste (which is fruit, nuts, milk, vegetables, etc) "Food" for thought!!

Brandon, as you say, the kingdom of God has come to earth already through the work of Jesus. He said in Luk17:21 that the kingdom is not out there but within us. Greek word evtos uuwu "within of you". That we need to seek that kingdom to find God thru the way Jesus did. To crucify our lives and comply with God's will. That is a very different perspective than what we have been thought in church.
How Brandon? How do we bring heaven down to earth? I'm fearful as you were when you were young, I'm not sure that Jesus would say to me 'well done'. I don't know what to do.

1. What are you good at? Make a list. Ex writing, encouraging... 2. What are you passionate about... Cross off anything from list 1 that you are not passionate about. Ex you hate to write. Cross it off. 3. How can you use these gifts to help others? Pray .... Which sounds like you ARE doing! God WILL open doors. Sometimes, you may not recognize that what you are doing now is actually preparing you for a wonderful mission later in life! Trust the PROCESS! God bless!

Brandon, many miss the target, the truth of what scripture says and teaches... Where in our hebrew scriptures does it clearly say and teach any mortal man goes up to heaven? Sha'ul (paul) is frequently misqouted taken out of context in 2 cor 5:8, kjv for we walk by faith, not by sight: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the l_rd... ISR2009 for we walk by belief, not by sight - we are of good courage, and are well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Master... --it does not say or imply that to be absent from the body, IS TO BE present with the Master...the context of the scriptures before and after verse 8 is not teaching about heaven or about even death, but about fearing YaHuWaH because we all must appear before the judgement seat of Messiah v:10 And further if you were already in heaven with the Master then there would be NO need of a first resurrection, you would just return with Him to the earth to establish His reign here on earth, and 2nd Yochanan (john) 17:15 I do NOT pray that You should take them out of the world, BUT that You "keep" them from the wicked one...Clearly Yeshua said, no one will be taken out of the world (rapture theory) but as the Torah teaches us so Yeshua is also teaching us that if we obey the Torah (commands, laws, & right-rulings ps 119:142, 151, 160) as exodus says and teaches so Yeshua is aslo, we were not taken up to heaven, but He walked us through and out towards the promised land (eternal life, reign of the heavens here on earth in the land of Yisra'el, in Yehudah, in Yerushalayim. Further in Luqas 16 Yeshua teaches from the Torah about the Torah and again as He taught in Matt 5 & again in Matt 7:21-23 Yeshua taught obedience to the Torah (commands, laws, right-rulings) not to get redemption but because we are already redeemed lest anyman should boast of himself, it is by belief through the blood of Yeshua, and not of works...but after we are redeemed we are commanded not a suggestion or pick from it what you want but an order, command to learn the Torah with the intent of our heart to hear and obey, gaurd to do, this is called being set-apart, His Torah sets us apart (sanctification), yes Sha'ul adhered to the Torah and taught obedience to the Torah (acts 21:20), 3 times in the book of acts he himself testified his adherence to the Torah commands when he went to the temple, not only that but he also taught the gentiles (acts 21:19-23:9 first account & twice more after that, 2 or more witnesses to establish a matter as a fact Torah deut) Back to Luqas 16 there is n assumption and a teaching that Yeshua spoke a parable verses 19-31 but thus is clearly not a parable, and the entire chapter determines Yeshua taught from the Torah and taught obedience to the Torah after redemption (also an overview of the entire book of the exodus teaches us this). Yeshua said that thus conversation took place, and if it didn't then Yeshua lied and He would have been found with a blemish disqualifying Him as the Messiah, therefore we know it a fact, He was describing what takes place after death and where we go, either to be carried by the messengers to the bosom of Abraham or you die and are buried (there is no emhasis on the wicked in death, no rememberance of them, and in the end as Yehua taught elewhere in the gospels, they will be burned up until their spirit and body are no more (eternal fire burns until the spirit and body is competely consumed, gone, destroyed, erased, there is no eternal hell which is to teach eternal life in hell, hell is greek mythology and does not exist). In the grave Abraham is on the side called Paradise, and those outside the covenant/renewed (unbelievers) & the disobedient believers (those in covenant but disobedient to the Torah) are across the chasm in gehenna (place of suffering tortures plural)
12:35 Nothing you can earn that good and faithful servant. Those words are meant for the Son of God who covered your sins. You need only love Jesus Christ with all you have as he has shown us to do in the Bible with God. Those words await all who trust in Jesus Christ and love God more than anything. Put God first. Like the camel going through a small door known as an eye of huge kingdom wall, needs to shed off all of its gear to fit in, we need to shed off these worldly things and come to God in our brokenness and he will put you back together and make you whole again.
Glad that you didn’t teach Plato’s heaven. Although I am not sure that calling the Nee Earth and it’s Kingdom, heaven, gives the clearest picture of what the Bible says to people who believe in “going up to heaven.” Still, you do a good work and it is much appreciated:)
We can never become perfect. We can be holy,righteous and just before God ( maybe through eternity). Remember, we are created ( so also the angels and host of heaven). Only God is good/perfect. We are gifted with imperishable, eternal bodies but they are not anything within our understanding of what God’s eternity/eternal Spirit is.

"Heaven coming here": Aside from the 'heaven within', yes, our planet is destined to eventually enter into what is known as the Age of Light and Life, which, in comparison to the way we live now, would seem like heaven. But in order to get there, people need to want to become as perfect as they can be, and to make society as perfect as it can be. Which leads to this question from Jordan Peterson: "Would you be willing to allow *who you might be* to continually and painfully triumph over *who you currently are?"* That means religions will have to evolve as well, dropping extraneous baggage, like dogma.

Our wonderful Lord hasn't made our ultimate goal to go to heaven but He is bringing heaven to us in the form of the New Jerusalem in Rev. 21:9-27.

The Jehovah's Witness would love hearing you talk about bringing heaven to earth. They believe that most of us will live forever on paradise earth, rather than heaven. I don't think you meant it that way, and I certainly don't believe in a paradise earth, but that did cross my mind when you mentioned bringing heaven to earth. This Presbyterian enjoyed your video.

In the Lord's prayer Christians make the petition for God's kingdom to come and rule over the earth, bringing God's will to be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Thank you Sir for sharing your realisations and the words of John and Mark. I feel that we should go deeper into the original teachings of the Bible and try and truly understand what is expected of us by God. For instance, one of the instructions of the Lord is "Thou shalt not kill". So why are we killing the innocent animals (although directly killed in slaughter houses) for the pleasure of our impure senses of the tongue. We are all Gods children including those animals who are made of flesh and blood. We are all beings, human and animal beings. We should practice compassion not only for our fellow human beings but also the animal beings. The innocent animals also have feelings. If you can love your dog, why not the innocent lamb, sheep, cows, etc. Let's try and purify our senses by not eating their flesh and aim for the higher taste (which is fruit, nuts, milk, vegetables, etc) "Food" for thought!!

Brandon, as you say, the kingdom of God has come to earth already through the work of Jesus. He said in Luk17:21 that the kingdom is not out there but within us. Greek word evtos uuwu "within of you". That we need to seek that kingdom to find God thru the way Jesus did. To crucify our lives and comply with God's will. That is a very different perspective than what we have been thought in church.

Where in our hebrew scriptures does it clearly say and teach any mortal man goes up to heaven?

ISR2009 for we walk by belief, not by sight - we are of good courage, and are well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Master...
--it does not say or imply that to be absent from the body, IS TO BE present with the Master...the context of the scriptures before and after verse 8 is not teaching about heaven or about even death, but about fearing YaHuWaH because we all must appear before the judgement seat of Messiah v:10
And further if you were already in heaven with the Master then there would be NO need of a first resurrection, you would just return with Him to the earth to establish His reign here on earth, and 2nd Yochanan (john) 17:15 I do NOT pray that You should take them out of the world, BUT that You "keep" them from the wicked one...Clearly Yeshua said, no one will be taken out of the world (rapture theory) but as the Torah teaches us so Yeshua is also teaching us that if we obey the Torah (commands, laws, & right-rulings ps 119:142, 151, 160) as exodus says and teaches so Yeshua is aslo, we were not taken up to heaven, but He walked us through and out towards the promised land (eternal life, reign of the heavens here on earth in the land of Yisra'el, in Yehudah, in Yerushalayim.
Further in Luqas 16 Yeshua teaches from the Torah about the Torah and again as He taught in Matt 5 & again in Matt 7:21-23 Yeshua taught obedience to the Torah (commands, laws, right-rulings) not to get redemption but because we are already redeemed lest anyman should boast of himself, it is by belief through the blood of Yeshua, and not of works...but after we are redeemed we are commanded not a suggestion or pick from it what you want but an order, command to learn the Torah with the intent of our heart to hear and obey, gaurd to do, this is called being set-apart, His Torah sets us apart (sanctification), yes Sha'ul adhered to the Torah and taught obedience to the Torah (acts 21:20), 3 times in the book of acts he himself testified his adherence to the Torah commands when he went to the temple, not only that but he also taught the gentiles (acts 21:19-23:9 first account & twice more after that, 2 or more witnesses to establish a matter as a fact Torah deut)
Back to Luqas 16 there is n assumption and a teaching that Yeshua spoke a parable verses 19-31 but thus is clearly not a parable, and the entire chapter determines Yeshua taught from the Torah and taught obedience to the Torah after redemption (also an overview of the entire book of the exodus teaches us this).
Yeshua said that thus conversation took place, and if it didn't then Yeshua lied and He would have been found with a blemish disqualifying Him as the Messiah, therefore we know it a fact, He was describing what takes place after death and where we go, either to be carried by the messengers to the bosom of Abraham or you die and are buried (there is no emhasis on the wicked in death, no rememberance of them, and in the end as Yehua taught elewhere in the gospels, they will be burned up until their spirit and body are no more (eternal fire burns until the spirit and body is competely consumed, gone, destroyed, erased, there is no eternal hell which is to teach eternal life in hell, hell is greek mythology and does not exist).
In the grave Abraham is on the side called Paradise, and those outside the covenant/renewed (unbelievers) & the disobedient believers (those in covenant but disobedient to the Torah) are across the chasm in gehenna (place of suffering tortures plural)

12:35 Nothing you can earn that good and faithful servant. Those words are meant for the Son of God who covered your sins. You need only love Jesus Christ with all you have as he has shown us to do in the Bible with God. Those words await all who trust in Jesus Christ and love God more than anything. Put God first. Like the camel going through a small door known as an eye of huge kingdom wall, needs to shed off all of its gear to fit in, we need to shed off these worldly things and come to God in our brokenness and he will put you back together and make you whole again.

The reason we need eternal life is so that we have enough time to become perfect. :)
We can never become perfect. We can be holy,righteous and just before God ( maybe through eternity). Remember, we are created ( so also the angels and host of heaven). Only God is good/perfect. We are gifted with imperishable, eternal bodies but they are not anything within our understanding of what God’s eternity/eternal Spirit is.

But in order to get there, people need to want to become as perfect as they can be, and to make society as perfect as it can be.
