Hi Julie, hopefully lots more to come next year and beyond so please keep watching. Thanks for comment and a very Merry Christmas and New Year to you. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.
We will be at it again making more content in 2023, hopefully. We should be back in Torrevieja in March when we have saved up another 90 days to come back for another long stretch. All the best Mike and Yvonne.
Merry Christmas Mike and Yvonne and have happy and prosperous new years. Last time I was at this shopping center was in March 2018. Love your content. Just so your aware I’ll be in the area in early March 👍
Hi Yogi, same to you and your family, we hope you have a great 2023. We will be in Torrevieja in March but probably late March as our 90 days need to cover my niece's wedding in Majorca in the middle of June we will have to get the calculator out. (ninety180.com)
You finally made it to the bottom of my road. Our apartment is at the top of Calle Escorpiones. A great place to be😂👍 Weve had our place for 20 years and hopefully it will be more permanent in 3 years time🙏
Hi Robbo, It's a great area to be and we will be calling back at the Captain's Table for sure. You must have seen a lot of changes in your 20 years there, especially up Calle Escorpiones where a lot of new properties have been built. We love Punta Prima and need to do some more episodes there. Hope you are well and we hope you have a great Christmas and New Year. All the best Mike and Yvonne.
@@BetweenTheLakes Yes when we originally bought the Marina and the road were not there, you had to come in off the N332. The Captains Table do great fish and chips and very reasonable too. All the restaurants and bars on the opposite side of road have only been open around 2 years. That all used to be a camp site. Feliz Navidad y anos nuevo to you both.
Thanks for watching and for your comment. Hope all goes well with the move, it’s a great area, plenty of facilities and places to go….Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.
Thanks for watching Harry, Merry Christmas to you and a prosperous New Year. It is cold here but looking forward to Christmas Day when all our family will be here celebrating together. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.
A wonderful review of where we are lucky enough to have our Spanish home. We live only 10 minutes walk away from the Punta Prima Marina. We highly recommend The captains Table, especially on a fish/steak night. It’s really good quality food at a very reasonable price. Shame we missed seeing you Mike & Yvonne. Remember to secure those electric bike of yours!!! 😎
Thank you Del for your kind comments. We really did enjoy the meal and the price of the beer, lol, at The wonderful Captains Table. Thanks for watching, best wishes Mike and Yvonne.
Hi Kev, Yes we both had a great Christmas back in the UK with the whole family. The guy on the golden goose was perhaps a tad heavy on the vibrato, maybe the golden goose was thinking too much about Christmas day and his impending fate.... Hope you have a very prosperous new year. Best wishes Mike and Yvonne.
Happy New Year. Thanks for all your very informative videos throughout the year. Two questions, first one. When you bought your property through Casa Espana did you have to pay them any fee.Does the seller pay all the estates agents commission.? Second question .I see on your latest video that there is a pedestrian crossing over the highway at Punta Prima connection both sides.Looking at a map of the Torrevieja area ,I see that the highway divides areas such as La Zenia ,Playa Flemenca etc.Is there a pedestrian crossing located in each of these areas.?Looking along the highway, how far apart are they located.?If one moved there ,Would you recommend they locate themselves near one if they do not want to purchase a car.?
Hi Tim, thanks for watching and for your questions. The buyer doesn't normally pay any fees to the estate agent, it's the seller who has fees to pay. There are taxes to pay of 10% in the Valencia region, and 8% in Murcia I believe. Our video will give you an idea of the costs of buying in Spain and our experience which details all our costs when we bought in 2017. See our website for all the relevant videos about purchases. sites.google.com/view/betweenthelakes/buying-our-house?authuser=0 Yes, there is a bridge to cross the N332 carriageway at Punta Prima and Cabo Roig and there is a road that goes under the carriageway at Playa Flamenca and also bridges at La Zenia and Campoamor. All the best Mike and Yvonne.
Hi both happy new year to you both we looking to go to torrevieja in june is there a public bus to torrevieja from airport or is it a transfer bus please advise on what app to check times etc thanks Cliff
Hi Cliff, happy new year to you. Yes there is a bus to Torrevieja bus station it costs 7€. It’s the bus we always get, it doesn’t stop anywhere but at the bus station. It runs nearly every hour and takes about 50 minutes. torrevieja.com/en/torrevieja-alicante-airport-bus-timetable/
I remember the time when they erected the bridge at the start of the video ,it wasn’t tall enough and a woman was killed when a lorry smashed it over as she was walking bye,
Can i just say if i may, ive been going to punta prima twice a year for the last 13 years and i agree with mike , i wont pay the prices the Nautilus restaraunt charges . Why would i , theres no end to good places to eat in punta prima , all sorts anything you want at reasonable prices , i,m sure the food is excellent in the Nautilus but i,m on a realistic buget when i go away and i find there menu too expensive for me
Hi Kevin, thank you for watching our episodes and also for your comment. We do live a very frugal lifestyle and we are quite proud of it. We are bemused when someone pays an extortionate amount for a meal. We are not against a decent profit for the businesses but when the business mark up their profits by “what they can get away with” then we won’t be going and probably wouldn’t be able to afford it anyway…….lol We wish more businesses would follow the Wetherspoons business model which has proved very successful in the UK. Having said all that, in the winter months Nautilus did put on a very nice and decently priced meal of the day but you have to ask for the menu del dia, it’s not well advertised but it’s there or it was, worth checking. Thanks again for watching and commenting. Best wishes Mike and Yvonne.
Merry Xmas to you both and loved watching the latest footage of punta prima x 🍻
Hi Julie, hopefully lots more to come next year and beyond so please keep watching. Thanks for comment and a very Merry Christmas and New Year to you. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.

Hi John, thanks for watching and for your comment. Yes I've heard that story, I think it's been hit by tall traffic more than once...
