Irina, the amount of thorough research and interviews you have done for this documentary, you put media networks to shame. You're a true Jamaican in my eyes 🇯🇲💯
From Parish to Parish. I did not see anyone crying or begging for government assistance. Just roll up yuh sleeve and get to work. Love mi Jamaican dem. Thank you once again Irina. Watching from Florida.
YOU ARE SO HELPFUL TO OUR JAMAICAN ESPECIALLY OVERSEAS LIKE MYSELF WE DEFINITELY WOULD LOVE TO HAVE MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOWCASE OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY JAMAICA 🇯🇲 YOUR HUSBAND ARE ONE OF THE LUCKIEST MAN YOU ARE VERY INTELLIGENT AND INSPIRING
Bravo Madam Irina! My heart goes out to all of those struggling to get through the damage, and I loved seeing how the communities are coming together, travelling from far and wide to help each other ❤
As always Irina, you always do an amazing job of covering and representing Jamaica. My wife and I are watching from Portland. This video caused me to consider myself blessed, after seeing what others have gone through. The one thing I must say about us Jamaican, we are very resilient and we are quick to help each other during times of need.
Every time I watch her videos and astonished by her journalism skills. Well done 👏🏾 Continue doing the great work. Media outlets could learn a thing or two from you and One love 🇯🇲
My name is Beryl. I am not happy to be associated with this natural disaster which brought misery to so many persons. I am delighted, however, to read about the resilience, the goodwill and the generosity of both locals and foreigners. Thank you for a most informative documentary.
Finally getting to watch these videos in their entirety, since Beryl did her job on Jamaica! Thank you Irina...Your videos were worth watching and waiting for. Thank you.
Irina nuff big up!! And you are right..this is blessed country with resiliant people... Your commitment to telling our story is just awesome...great journalism ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
Great work Irina! I am impressed by your continuous dedication and determination to showcase the intricacies of stories like these that are so often overlooked by the mainstream media. Furthermore, I appreciate your willingness and hard work of highlighting some of the hidden gems of Jamaica! 🇯🇲 🙌🏽🥳
Irina, this was beautifully done and written and researched. You always inspire me with your work. You were the right person to make this amazing and authentic documentary 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾‼️ Thank you!
Hi Irena, I came to Jamaica approximately two weeks after the hurricane July 14-21. I stayed in Montego Bay for the first 4 days. During those four days I went to Mountainside St. Elizabeth July 16th. to see some of my relatives. I stopped in Black River for a short time before heading to Mountainside. It was very sad to see the devastation. There were times when I felt like crying, but I had my daughter with me and I felt like I had to be strong for her. But through all the sadness, it was good to see everyone and I was thankful that no one lost their lives. It could have been worse. Thanks for yet another very good and informative video. You are the best.
I feel you. I have relatives there as well but my childhood memories of #HollandBamboo bolsters me as I look at the deluge. My mom attended the elementary school under the Bamboo Ave.
As always Irina - a well done and documented video. To answer your question as to why Jamaicans were out there during the hurricane. Jamaicans just love excitement. No other reason. 😂 Thanks again. Keep making great content about Jamaica. Jamaican watching from Canada
Yeah we like excitement even though we know the dangers for eg; I saw a blogger in Portland out in the hurricane running around smiling with a block in hand saying it will prevent him fr blowing away what about trees falling on u or zinc flying ( how dangerous, silly if u ask me)
Well done Irie, thank you for this concise report of the hurricane and its aftermath. I am impressed with the quick clean up of the affected areas by the individual communities.
MY FIRST TIME ON YOUR PLATFORM 😊 GOOD JOB 👍 VERY INSIGHTFUL AND INTERESTING INFORMATION, MY HUSBAND SHARED YOUR VIDEO WITH ME. YOU'RE ALL THE INGREDIENTS OF EPITOME ❤ONE LOVE JAMAICA 🇯🇲❤
Great Job Irina ,you always keep it real and very informative, thanks for taking time to showcase the 14 parishes and how they were affected , big up to you for loving our beautiful Jamaica
Thanks Irina. It's time that Jamaica built these buildings expecting hurricane once per year. In America we have concrete brick houses in the warmer States that's where Jamaica got their inspiration from. In the coldest States we have vinyl siding houses it's designed for the cold weather so no concrete there. So we design things with that in mind.
Thanks Irina this is the kind of story I appreciate . Very informative ,credible while presenting supporting evidence. Though covering Beryl aftermath you also manage to market some of Jamaica's beauty. Great journalism ,keep up the great job.❤
I was in Irish town on the blue mountin when the hurricane came, it was a very scary experience as a uk citizen who has never witnessed such weather. The winds were crazy. We luckly did not suffer damage. The trees were snapping all around us tho. Neighbours had lost property being totally destroyed. And the road down off the mountain was blocked for half a day due to a partial home collapse onto the road, this was cleared extremely fast by locals coming together and working hard.
Great job irena I m watching your hurricane report from the 14 parish in jamaica I m watching all the way from the UK 🇬🇧 my area in St Elizabeth parottee near black river mostly hit with the hurricane thanks to show us all the location area that has been hit job well done nuff respect
Well done Irie you are a wonderful and well educated journalist keep up the good work show the good and bad parts of our beautiful Jamaica land we love 💕❤
Good footage Irena, love what you doing, I'm living in Old Harbour in St Catherine and big pond water had affectedly our village really badly ,just came across your channel and I'm loving it, keep up the good work.
On behalf of Jamaicans a Yard and abroad- I say NUFF RESPECT to #Irie and #Throp! #TravellersResort is my home away from home and will always tell everyone. It was magical to have my mom dining at #Travellers -while her childhood-landmark --#HollandBamboo-- graced the dining-room wall. That, to us is priceless and makes --#Travellers-- our home away from home- though my childhood home is only 18 miles away.
I love this video and every minute of it, great to see footage and actually hear what's going on in all OUR Parishes not only kingston. I was in Jamaica the day before the hurricane on north coast, I drove around St Ann capital and the surrounding towns and it was like nothing happen except for the fallen trees and light pole going into Ochi.
I really enjoyed the in indepth research and information given in this programme. This is the best report on the hurricane that has been aired, thank you I really wanted to see what the situation was for the many Parishes as I was born in Jamaica and now live in the UK. I look forward to more of your outputs. Well done.

I was at St Elizabeth (which had the aloe) before I realized each parish had a slightly different intro graphic. I had to go back and check the others after, lol. Anyway, thanks for the update Irina. Despite extensive damage in certain towns, JA was spared a worst case Gilbert-like hit so there's a lot to be grateful for.
Wonderful documentary I was in Jamaica at the time but never see the fullness 😢 what was taking place thanks for such a wonderful update you are the best God bless you we love you a lotof
Wow, you have done an amazing job with your reports of Hurricane Beryl! Excellent documentary 🎉. Love Ricks Cafe😊. My only wish, you had done more of Hanover such as the districts. You missed Hopewell! Enjoy your reports immensely❤
I'm not surprised that south central Clarendon was baldly damaged. It's at sea level. This has always been the case since I was a child. If rain drizzles the whole area floods.
True. But I think you meant Clarendon South Eastern & South Western, they are almost at sea level. Clarendon South Central is May Pen and surrounding areas with an elevation of approximately 74 meters.
A lot of thanks to all my audience who contributed to this film and to all the companies who shared their stories. Special thanks to all our patrons who made this video possible!
