  • The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i 16 is a powerful gaming laptop that can also handle creative work well. I have the 14th gen Intel core i9-14900HX processor, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4080, 32GB of RAM, and 2 TB of storage. The display is a 16-inch QHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. The keyboard is great for typing, and the trackpad works well. The battery life is not great, but that is typical for gaming laptops. Overall, the Legion Pro 7i is a good option for gamers and creative professionals who are looking for a powerful laptop at a reasonable price.

    Hey Mark, Which would you recommend for me, between the alienware m18r2 or Legion Pro 7i?

      Sorry haven’t played with the Alienware yet. How do they compare in price?

      Being Legion Pro 7i owner, I am very happy with the purchase. The laptop screen, audio and performance are really good so far.

    would you say this computer can handle demanding autodesk softwares such as autocad and 3d max?

      I have more experience on video editing with adobe, so won’t be able to accurately answer this. My guess is yes

    which software do you use to show fps counter on the top right corner of your screen

    • @jasonseou8148
      @jasonseou8148 2 месяца назад +3

      Legion laptop built-in software, has an "E-Sports" option, there can look for FPS Counter and enable it.

    Legion Pro 7i 2024 or ASUS ZEPHYRUS G16 2024?
    Both 4080 models.
    Which one should I go for?

      I just wanna clarify that i’m no laptop expert or anything but i’d personally go with the legion. While surfing through reddit I remember discovering something about CPU throttling so make sure to check that out as well.

      Also, the G16’s more of a macbook type look. I actually like it over the macbook because it looks so clean but the legion’s glacier white colour way is on a whole other level.

    You like that you can adjust the screen brightness? That “feature” has been on every laptop and monitor for years.

    • @markguim

      Can adjust to very very dim

      I've got it and it's not bad thanks to the keyboard deck being polymer instead of aluminum. People complain about it being less premium which is understandable but plastic just does a way better job blocking heat. My last legion had a metal deck and it was much hotter.

      For a 4080, it's actually pretty good as most other laptop manufacturers that have a 4080 tend to price theirs at around $3000+.
