Train #1 - (Arroyo Dr.) Amtrak Coast Starlight #14, with P42DC #65 leading with a fouled 2nd gen K5LA.
Train #2 - (Arroyo Dr.) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #774, with cabcar #6906 leading, and F59PHI #456 up the rear.
Train #3 - (Simi Valley Station) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #769, with F59PHI #464 leading with a nice sounding 3rd gen K5LA.
Great video of my favorite Amtrak trains on my favorite Amtrak route. Great train horn sound on the Pacific Surfliners & also the Coast Starlight.

For the first Coast Starlight, I timed 35 seconds for the train to reach the crossing after the arms had gone down. Isn't that a bit of an over-kill?
I know I'm here 8 years later, but that spot has barely changed at all. It still takes 30 seconds for the train to get there

Perfection one again, btw what kind of camera do you use. When I film my camera docent get close to as good as your shots. Love the KL5A on the last Surfliner.

Great catches! That last part was just beautiful! What station was that? My Grandma is there in San Diego for 2 weeks and she saw those trains too. I really wish I was with them. I just subbed mind doing the same in return?
