I find it hilarious when people say that men care less about emotional things than women, we do, we just chose not to cry for three days in a row about it. Breakups hurt for males and females about the same, it's just how you show it(or not show it).
And yes, crying in your bed for a week while stuffing yourself with sweets is a conscious choice one makes, male or female.

I completely agree when we break up with women and they feel really sad and depressed and they choose to show that bye crying in their bedroom for 12 hours straight.the truth is us guys feel the same except we dont want to waste 12 hours of our life so we dont show it
True, the thing is, females are generally just more emotional but that's all genetics, we don't choose to cry, it's all hormonal.
But what is also true is that guys less often search for a long lasting relationship (reason why the thought of marriage and kids scare guys).

agreed, in fact i think using the whole "women are pressured by the media" argument to prove girls have it worse than guys is meaningless. The thing is, something the media makes guys do is not talk to people about their problems, because they are a man and they should just be tough and deal with it. and thats the reason girls use that argument a lot and not guys, because guys aren't allowed to complain as much. if a girl is talking to her friend and says how she doesnt like this one person and she doesnt like someones hair, thats fine, in fact i hear that kind of stuff all the time. but with guys, if i complained about another guys looks, it would be considered weird. when was the last time you heard a guy say that he doesnt like another guys hair? probably never lol.
What about muscles and stuff like that. Haven't you seen all the magazines that girls go crazy over? Guys have just as much media pressure, they just care less about such a miniscule thing as appearance. You can change appearance just by changing your clothes and getting a haircut, but changing your personality is a million times more difficult and I think every guy that has an IQ above 50 knows that.

I actually think it all depends on the person. Some men like to be skinny and shave there legs or wear eyeliner. Some women like to cut there hair short or lift weights and play video games. Lol some men are sensitive or even physically weak and some women are more confident and muscular. Everything really depends :3

epiksar yes the research is flawed and incomplete and as you said it is literally impossible to complete the research. by relying on statistical research is the most flawed form of study when you are trying to obtain information. gender statistics are the most flawed form of statistical research of them all for instance if you place ten men and ten woman in a room and ask them to attempt to lift a heavy object three men and one woman are able to lift said object statistical research would have you believe that it means that three in every five males could lift the object while only one in every five females could lift it this conclusion is flawed because all you have actually proven is that three men and one woman out of a single group could lift that object while if you did this a thousand times with a thousand different individuals you would reach a different outcome every single time making it impossible to come up with an accurate calculations because of the constant stream of missing variables caused by each different outcomes. so yes when it comes to gender as well a great many other subjects statistics are not the most reliable way of coming to a conclusion. the most reliable way of coming to a conclusion on whether or not someone is overly emotional or not is to analyze the individual and come up with the most appropriate way of dealing with said individual. A vast majority of us refer to this as socializing, getting to know someone, or making friends maybe you should give it a shot rather than making assumptions based entirely on flawed statistical garbage.

And the reason girls get so offended when they are called "fat" is that the female bodies what we see on the media, labeled as attractive, are so disproportional and wrong, compared to the male bodies that are also labeled as attractive. Girls see an overly thin, unhealthy image and eat less to be more like that, whereas guys see muscles and train more to look more "attractive." Both guys and girls are overly concerned with how they look; the difference is that the female image is so drastically different. It all comes down to how the media portrays "attractive."
