I was a certified welder years ago and can tell you that your bead couldn't be more perfect, Jeff! If you still have doubts, ask Hannah. She used to teach welding. I'm 79 now and never miss y'all's videos. I APPRECIATE Y'ALL!
Hopefully your doctor has turned you loose to do this kind of stuff. Jeff your craftsmanship never ceases to amaze. Prayers for your continued good health and recovery.
Don't you still have another week before you have to see the doc? Better hope he doesn't see this video lol. Great job! You're the man but, be careful! 'Preciate ya!
Brilliant Jeff!! I was trying to figure THIS ONE out years ago & wish I had this video for inspiration THEN!! ALWAYS knew the answer was a lever & fulcrum (old school class teaching I remember)!!! Was always making my answer more complicated than problem!! YOU came up with the best answer!! Your BIGGEST fan & a Minnesota Man. 💜💗💜💗💜
Ahhhh, the infamous Lincoln Tombstone 220 welder, I learned to weld on one of those in high school back in 1982. Keep that bad boy Jeff it's a good machine and also your tree-puller 😆👍👍
As did I as a freshman in '73. Having bought one of those majestic convolutions of rapacity to go with a wire fed unit and acetylene torch in the last couple years there's always something that can be done with them. It takes time to get used to the settings. Like the tire changer and balancer it's just great fun to turn Pandora on the 'puter and play shop on anything the TLE at Wally's won't touch. Like the tire's for our Sheriff's trailer up the street😉👍
See y'all, when doc says don't do nuthin if you use ya head you can figure how to solve stuff. The Jeff Barron bush puller. Great video Jeff, I really enjoy all your videos. God bless !
some square tube and angle iron I know what I am making this weekend. Thanks for that idea it reminds me of something my gramp made to pull old fence posts out.
I miss my Lincoln tombstone. It was handed down to me when my grandfather died. It had some age on it when i got it in 2000. Someone needed it worse than i did and stole it. Those thing will weld about anything you throw at it. I definately need to make myself one of these tools.
Jeff Jeff have you been cleared by the doctor yet. You're out there pulling on trees I hope you understand things can happen when you're hard headed . Good job on the puller💯💯💯💯💯👍🏾
@@MikeGibson-l5eHe knows what he’s doing? No he definitely doesn’t. He does not know what’s best for him in this situation. Plenty of stubborn men live painful uncomfortable lives because of being stupid.
I saw where some fake a$$ influencer on X was bashing Hannah. Man, I dug into them without mercy. Y'all keep doing yall. Cool tool! I needed this as a kid. My pop's made me dig them up.
Great idea. Thanks. I’ll be making something similar (my scrap is different!) but I’m thinking of closing the lower part of the vertical sections to create a triangular cross section. This should minimize twisting in that area that would allow the jaws to open up after repeated use - or abuse.
That worked great . Years ago I made one kind of like that so I could pull up T post . This one had a chain an 3”x3”x 1/2” square with a “T” shape cut in the steel plate that slid over the post an worked in the same way yours does. I learn a lot of years ago to work smarter not harder because you can get a lot more work done . I also made one with a long chain an used another piece of steel plate cut the same that you hook on a front bucket on a tractor to pull out “T” post but by using this style of puller it doesn’t bend the post when you pull them out . Get better Jeff . Thanks
Now I wish I had a welder, since that looks easy enough to make and would be useful around here. I'm going to make the jump one day and get one, since I want to use it for fabricating table legs, instead of always using wood. Good idea Jeff, thanks for sharing! Preciate y'all!
Well, Jeff, just in case you thought we weren't paying attention to when the doctor releases you.....see below. By the way, I haven't seen one of those shrub pullers before....and like you, I have some angle iron and a welder laying around the shop. That thing looks like a real back saver! Thanks for the tip!
Best medicine is movement don't over do it that's why after surgery they get us up right away and to therapy people have been doing this for a long long time . Glad to c u moving brother keep up the good work and congrats appreciate y'all be safe out there 😊
Hey brother good stuff but always is nothing jeff barron can't do would like to see you build a smokeless fire pit but only when doc says your good to go as much cooking as you do outside it would be awesome
Unfortunately for that idea, it is already in production. I started making one sort of similar because I couldn’t find one to buy but after I got building it, I started getting recommendations like this on RUclips almost daily with tons of similar designs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s really cool and nobody else makes one exactly like this, but there’s enough out there already that I don’t think it’s unique enough for “Shark Tank”. He could probably try establishing a local business and maybe even do all the tax stuff to go official nationwide (like I was planning on doing) but national television and million dollar contracts are probably in the rearview mirror at this point. I’m still going to make mine and he should do it too if he wants to. They’re seriously lifesavers if one is needed.

Classic Jeff Barron. Saw something he thought he might be able to use, found some stuff laying around and built it.
Like your welder, we're all old and struggling, Jeff! Glad to see you up and about. Take care.
I appreciate you! You sure have raised your daughter right and she is a chip off the old block. Love you all and your channels. Thanks!

I have had a similar puller for t-post for 40 years. I don't know why I didn't think to use something similar to pull little bushes.
Jeff Baron rehabilitation create something then go bush wacking! Happy your healthy, thanks for the video.
Hell fire that's the trick. Well done sir.
That’s pretty dang cool! Is there something like that for t-post?

See y'all, when doc says don't do nuthin if you use ya head you can figure how to solve stuff. The Jeff Barron bush puller. Great video Jeff, I really enjoy all your videos. God bless !

That would be a handy tool
i'll be making one of these soon
Awesome job Jeff
Hey Jeff, if the part between the handle and the ground pivot was longer, I think it could pull it higher. 😊 ❤

Jeff just saying that you are one fine man you get an idea in your mind and you achieve your goals/ prechate you
Jeff, an old school hi-jack will work well on bigger bushes. A little tripod out of 2x4 & a log chain.
thats the coolest thing ive ever seen you need to get a patend on that
By pulling them out, they are not sapping the ground.
OUTSTANDING 💯 I know what I'm going to make tonight!!!! 'preciate ya
You need to be on shark tank. That’s a great invention Jeff !
