Here’s the thing if you have a LVS32 keep it. If buying new then get the LVS34. I suspect when new head units come out and possibility of black box upgrade you’ll see more capabilities from the LVS34. It’s good that the LVS34 is at least still compatible with older equipment.
I agree, but I am upgrading. Been using it for 3 years, but I like the upgrades. Now I am not going to get a gr56 transducer... It's not mega like yet to warrant upgrading, but this is. I was going to buy a whole new kit and still might, but if I can find the transducer alone, I will get that. I might put the 32 on the kayak
As nice as this stuff is I can't justify the cost as a weekend tourney fisherman. Fishing for 800 to 1k pots it's hard to spend 10k for a trolling motor, graph, foward facing then the batteries to power it. 10k is low end too. It's getting further and further away from the average angler. It's an elite sport for the wealthy now days to fish high end tourneys and I hate that. Used to a guy could get there by being a good fisherman. Now it's more about who can afford to compete. Not trying to be a dud just expressing my opinion.
@@ROSSCO7777777 in my comment I listed each thing I was talking about. For the trolling motor like maybe a garmin force then the graphs and transducers then 3 lithium batteries. Yes 10k easily for what I mentioned. Yes I could use regular batteries but still pushing 6 or 7k with Walmart batteries
@@michaellewis4501 my comment was for trolling motor, graphs with foward facing and batteries. And I'm not talking about me getting the cheapest livescope possible I'm saying a decent competitive setup. Then lithium batteries to supply the power for all of it will easily put you at 10k. Look at what I listed to get the 10k number
The one thing I’ve noticed is you do not lose your bait constantly. With a 32 there are so many blind spots and you can make a perfect cast and see your lure falling down 80 feet away and then it disappears and then re-appears and you miss so much stuff. With the 34 it never disappears. So much easier to watch it fall and watch it all the way back to the boat. That was my biggest complaint about the 32. Target separation huge up here in the north east we have a lot of weedy lakes where we don’t really have standing timber like they do in the south and we don’t get those suspended Bass so being able to, see fish that are on the bottom just above the weeds is huge. Hopefully someday they can come up with a way to see them when they are in the weeds whether it be a temperature difference or something. It’s not like down south where you can just cruise around and look for suspended fish every day. We don’t have that luxury. Finding suspended bass appears not as common. Croppie and perch on the other hand are always spending around here and are super easy to catch because of it.
I talked to Brett yesterday and ordered the LVS 34 and black box kit which will replace my LVS 32, I'll let you guys know how it runs after I fish with it next week.
Great comparison and thanks for the video. Curious, when you compared the two in Live Down, you talked about “stitching” and what is that? I assume it may be related to how the echos/images are stitched together but not really sure. Thanks
I'm definitely seeing the better clarity of the structure, but I'm not fishing for logs and branches. I see very little difference in the definition of the fish.
yes stitching is the lines coming out , its each ray being stitched to try to continue hte image on smoothly but as you can see it shows up a little. you can sometimes adjust the focus to help fix it but it can cause dead spots.
I'm just waiting to order it... Been ready since February. I have my my ls32 for 3 years and Garmin just robbed me again... Finally bought the force and 2 more echomaps... Now I have 4... Anyone want to buy?
Guys I'm about to buy the Garmin® ECHOMAP™ UHD 95sv And planning to buy the sb34 a year from now! What do you guys think on the set up? I'm getting the 95sv because is on sale. And I'm a new to the Sport!
I like the comparison's u guys do, I'm currently saving for a unit for my kayak, a PA12-360. Been yak fishing for 7yrs so I'm about do for a fish finder... Can u do a direct comparison between solix10 gn3 & echomap ultra 106 with gt56?? Please? I know u guys did gt54 but it b nice see what I just said to see top until & transducers in exactly same size. Those are two units I'm debating on buying
Is perspective mode any good at 30+ ft? As in bass 'offshore'? I feel like its 'doable' but you're really looking at a small window at those depths. I fish deeper waters for walleye and occasional 'offshore' bass. Would hate to continuously look at a small area in deeper water all day glued to the screen. Dont care for forward mode as that's too narrow a beam. Just want to know before dumping money on this and be dissatisfied.
I'm looking to buy Panoptix to connect to a Echomap 94SV. I wonder how much the pixel resolution on the Echomap 94SV vs the much higher resolution an something like the GPSMAP 126 matters. Will I still see a difference or will the lower resolution on the 94SV limit me anyway? Kind of like connecting a high end camera to a cheap low resolution monitor. The image will only be as good as the monitor will allow.
No benefits for me buying the 34. I can see the rock piles, fish and stumps n weeds. I don’t fish any more than 40 fow and that isn’t often so I don’t have an issue seeing by bait or lure and in 20 fow I can see 60 feet out in front of me without issue on bait or fish/rocks/weeds/etc. I see benefits with deeper water using the 34 or if you’re basically buying one then get the 34. The talk on the video about how the fish are very clear and blah blah blah - it isn’t that drastic.
Better? Heck yes! $1600 better not for me. If I was buying new I would buy the 34. I just can't justify the price upgrade. Good Video Guys.
The quality of the lvs34 is freaking insane what a time to be alive!
It is definitely better, if you have the 32 and have the disposable income. Go ahead and replace it. Otherwise just spend the time dialing in your 32.

@@jaimeastin that would be a great way to get use out of it. Or sell it and help offset the 34.

You can get a basic livescope kit for $2k
not close to 10k so idk how you think thats the low end

Check out how the Aussies are targeting Barramundi and bream with the LVS34
Great comparison Guys. I'm sticking with my 32 but If I was a first time buyer I would get the 34.
Wait till they come out with the 36.. 😂
You mean 62
@@chriscrashfpv i said that before the 62 was released
Absolutely awesome video! Next time around please do some inside 30 ft range, 20 ft deep (crappie range) comparison. Thanks again!
Awesome comparison! Great job guys as usual! Keep them coming!
I like the 34 for the deeper water for sure, I just ordered my stuff too soon, wish I would have known this would be out this early.
Great commentary guys! You are great about with giving alternative thoughts
Thanks about that great video! I just ordered Garmin and will sell my megalive to somebody else. Garmin is way ahead this technology
Would love to see some dock / Crappie comparison but absolutely Awesome job.
Great video I'd love to see a video of you looking under docks with it and bridge pillars
That would be Awesome
Waiting patiently to order my livescope bundle. Cant come fast enough.
I talked to Brett yesterday and ordered the LVS 34 and black box kit which will replace my LVS 32, I'll let you guys know how it runs after I fish with it next week.
I went out Monday and caught 86 crappie on brush piles from 26 to 36 feet deep with 14 mph wind and could still see my bait, That LVS 34 is INSANE!!!

Great video! Trying out my 34 tomorrow.
Great show guys, Thanks
on the beginning of the video of side by side there was 10 feet difference between the two view. would that not make a difference? time frame 14:58
Good comparison guys , so question is wen will you guys do a comparison,,with the settings dialed in ?
Sold! Upgrading to the lvs34 :)
Good stuff guys! 👀 🎣 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for the breakdown!
Love it great info, thanks Guys
What voltage were y’all using?
Great video! Do you think it is lvs34 so much better than lvs32 even with echomap 92sv UHD? (Not UHD2) THANKS

Will the lsv34 work with a 93sv ?
What lake are you on? Spillway area looks like Wright Patman Lake.
I have the 32 but I'm buying the 34. Great video.
Whats the difference between gpsmao and gpsmapsxsv?
What’s the proper way to mount to a separate pole? Thanks
Awesome comparison. Can you guys run the same comparison with the active target? Curious to see them gates on active target!
it will be coming shortly.
Great stuff!

That exact setup I started with except I have the LVS32. It's a good setup.
The 95 and the livescope is a fantastic setup. They pair together quite nicely!!
Save up a bit longer and get a 10' graph. Its worth it.

What are you referring to when saying “stitching”? Great comparison.
Each acoustic element of the transducer provides a sector of image and the three sectors are stitched together to provide the overall image.

Bought lvs32 complete setup /w screen for massive discounts. As a first time user, I don't see how 34 is worth it

When is the Livescope Plus going to be available?

Will the 34 go with my 1022 and black box thats already installed
yes it sure will
When is the 34 going to be in stock and ready to ship?
Early May
When will the 34 be ready to ship?

Damn good time too jump on them 93sv. Them bad boys gonna sky rocket after they are bought out.
i get the 34 but to be honest....really honest...the difference is nothing
Love it need it when you think they gonna be ready to ship?
Should be available in early May in larger quantities.
Would y'all say the livescope lvs34 or Lowrance active target is better?
Lvs34 is better.
