Good information Randy so thanks for that. I'm still running the 32 because I'm chasing crappie more than anything else. You actually gave me this same advise last year or year before in a text message to stay with the 32 for crappie. You also told me to look at the GPS Map 1222 for a bigger screen over the Ecomap for crappie since I didn't need the maps. I followed your advise and got the 1222 and put my original 93sv on the console for driving around the lake and it's worked out great. That alone saved me about a thousand dollars, so thank you, Thank you, THANK you.
I have a 32 on an older Lund 16.5' tiller, 2-93SV-uhds &1-Ultra 106sv. I have a Force, (some people say I am a force) The force and graphs can be switched between my 19.5' Lake Superior Boat. I'm retired, but money is not an issue. At least not for me, my wife on the other hand...I spend much of my fishing time taking people who otherwise just wouldn't get out. Kids and old folks, even putting wheelchairs in my boat. Lots of times I don't even use live scope because I don't need it, But the 32 is all I really need. As you can imagine, with all that tech, I'm still trying to get my degree in Garmin. and sometimes I just want to fish and enjoy the people I'm with and not spend the whole day figuring out my gear. Don't get me wrong, I love my gear, so do the Conservation officers here. But here in NE Minnesota a big part of fishing is beauty of the Lakes, Trees and palisades, oh yeah, and swatting Mosquitoes. I also have ice fishing gear, because half the year we can walk on water. The most valuable thing on a Garmin for me is Quick-Draw because Navionics just doesn't come this far. But I'm working on it for them.
Off topic , I saw were you did a product review awhile back on Millennium boat seats . Do you still like the Palma horse seat ? And what about the other one ? Is it a sit down seat with the back rest or is it the casting seat . Cant really tell from the video. As much info pro and con would be appreciated!
Started out with 32 when it was the only 1 out. From the beginning it was absolutely unbelievable how amazing the picture was, after a year it went to complete shit, upgraded to 34. Curious to hear your thoughts on the lifespan of these expensive transducers.
@The_Garmin_Guru gotcha, I went from being able to see my crappie jig no problem to not seeing it at all. Kinda crazy how fast they go out with how much they cost. I'd guess pros are going through a few a year.

use a 34 but weighing the value of a 62 for when I fish deeper water.
The 62 frequency is much lower, that is how they get the deep water capability.
@@dougmaust4928 you are correct my friend

Is the 93sv a decent enough screen to use with the 34lvs
I don’t think those are compatible. They will work but you won’t see the HD view from them
