    When he said he would play a blues I expected a backing track to kick in, but once he started playing I never even missed it so on point.

    Yes Joel, the social aspect is the main thing for me and the other people I normally would play, talk, listen
    to music with. Your thoughts are very well articulated and I think you speak for all of us!

    Thanks Joel. Sad to be losing you. I have to suspect there are one or two cats in Nashville who consider themselves to be the very top jazz players in town who are just a little bit nervous to hear this news ;) We will miss you in NY. But you are bound to be back from time to time. We’ll come out to see you whenever you return. Your main point in this video is well taken. Playing with other people is EVERYTHING. There is no growth, no fun, no jazz without it. Good luck in Nashville.
