    “Serious Imitation for a while” yes it behooves us to do this. It provides so much discovery, understanding and jumping off points for one’s own creativity.

    Joel's solos can be original but never "shapeless". He is not only technically very proficient but so musically exciting.

    This masterclass is so incredibly valuable! Joel Frahm is one of my favorite musicians and to hear all this advice from him is so useful and amazing! That story about Johnny Griffin literally made me cry because it was so beautiful
